- Wombwell (9/5): - Comfortable and as described. Value for money. Will use again.
- Dana (8/5): Great value for money, comfortable and clean. - Rooms as advertised, bed was clean and comfortable and sharing the bathroom was no problem. Wife particularly noted that the shower was nice and hot and the spray was wide and comforting. Noise levels on a Saturday night were fine, no problem sleeping! N/A Everything was as expected as per description and for the price paid. We were all satisfied and would stay here again.

- C Lewis-Orme (10/5): - The shared bathrooms were really well done. Prefect location, and with a pub downstairs there is easy access to food and drinks.
- Linda (5/5): - Location Extremely basic. I wasn’t shown that there was a communal kitchen and only found it after I had bought my dinner. TV in downstairs bar was right under my room and the was so loud.
- Susan (10/5): -
- Robbie (10/5): The bar was great, with plenty of parking out front and at the back. Staff were friendly, the place was clean, and it wasn’t too noisy, especially for a pub. Best of all, I got my first drink free because I was staying there, which was a nice bonus.
- Whitehorn (7/5): - Big value for money - and the room was exactly as advertised. Bed was comfortable, room was basic but larger than expected. Common bathroom/toilet area might be off putting to some, but I had no issues at all. Meals downstairs were excellent 👌 Would be happy to stay again for a weekend trip!

- Samantha (6/5): Not all rooms here are equal - The location was good, and the room was very clean. It was a very small room, you had to scoot sideways to get past the bottom edge of the bed. They charge the same price for this as the room next door, which is double the size. They also don't change the towels or bedding if you're staying multiple nights.
There was no wardrobe or drawers in the room so we had to live out of our suitcases the whole time we were there.
A clean and convenient place to crash, but only for a night.
- Laura (6/5): - Good location. Affordable. My room was above a TV downstairs and it was so loud un my room I couldn't sleep. Had to get up both nights at 12:30am to ask them to turn off the TV which was still on even though they were closed.

- Sweta (8/5): - Basic room with common bathroom/toilet. Just enough if you have your own transport arrangements. The lock for the room was not proper. The toilet had average cleanliness. Was at a distance from the city centre. No table or basic amenities in the room.
- Vikram (1/5): Too many complains than a pleasant stay - The door handle was broken and the door locks were not user friendly at all
One of the lights was not working and there was no adequate lights in room
The fire alarm in the alley was broken
The door leading to parking was always left unlocked and this is a security threat for the guests
Cobwebs inside the common bathroom
MOST IMPORTANT : The room was above the sports bar and the sound form sports bar was very disturbing. I had to request the bar to turn off the TV volume so that I could sleep at night

- Maree (9/5): -
- Purvi (9/5): Stay was really good. Only one drawback was the television sound at the bistro that was so high and I could not sleep un - Property is old, nice and clean. Staff were nice and friendly. Food is good too. The sound of the Television comes straight to your room and was disturbing but rest everything else was good. Because of the sound could not sleep till 12 mid night. The television was shut down during that time.
- Julie (10/5): Great location….…awesome function room…...friendly, helpful staff……tasty food! - Great location.

- Lily (8/5): -
- Emil und die D (7/5): Einfach aber herzlich - Einfaches, aber nettes Hotel mit angeschlossenem Restaurant/Bar Es gibt kein Bad im Zimmer; Gemeinschaftsbäder auf dem Flur
- Alana (8/5): As expected - Good size rooms, comfortable bed, air conditioning works well Noisy (though expected)
Lights in bathroom area didn’t appear to work properly

- Roger & Susan (9/5): - Staff were very friendly & room small but very comfortable. Great for a 1 night stay A mirror in the room would have been handy
- Andrew (10/5): Great value short term stay - Staff were very attentive. Food was great (highly recommended the lamb sauva). Bed was very comfortable. Beer was cold! Great value short term stay
- Ashley (4/5): disappointing - clean rooms communal area had no working lights. asked staff if there was a menu for restaurant and they said i can look downstairs or online. online menu stated bistro was open until 8.30pm - part of the reason i chose this site for a restaurant on site. went to go order dinner at 7pm to find the whole bistro closed

- Jack (7/5): - Value for Money
- Hamish (9/5): Affordable and quiet and great food - Affordable price, good food and drinks! Better pillows, fridge in room for water, room right next to fire exit where people were walking near our window felt less privacy
- Tomy (7/5): -
- Mathilde (7/5): -
- Wayne (10/5): -
- Vergos (8/5): Comfy and homey feeling, aesthetically pleasing views - Parking lot was a bit difficult to manage
- Alexandra (10/5): Amazing value for money in a prime spot with great food. - Great location, amazing to have a pub just below to eat and drink. Great having side door access to come and go without bothering anyone. Don’t mind a shared bathroom at all, but only having one shower shared between four double rooms was a little bit of a negotiation struggle between the 8 of us.
- Tom (7/5): Affordable and handy for a one-night stay. - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was nice and accessible, with parking outside. The pub downstairs was handy for food and relaxing in the evening. The facilities (bathroom, room) were a little unclean for my liking.
- Lee-Ann (9/5): Pleasant place to stay - Easy to find and great price
- xuereb (10/5): - Guinness 🤪❤️🙏❤️
- Dominic (10/5): It was perfect - We liked, the super comfy bed lol, the great food, really nice staff, the location. We will definitely be coming back in the near future. :)
- Michael (3/5): - Access to my room, shower in shared bathroom was good. Bed was bloody awful, had a bright light outside my window that blinds and curtains could not even block out, pillows terrible, guessing next room noisy till 4am.
- Clancey (10/5): Comfy bed , warm hot shower and good cleanliness - Clean and great professional service , comfy bed . 🤷♀️
- Andrea (2/5): -
- Kounitis (7/5): Great location, clean room and shared facilities, comfy bed - Location is a real plus, clean room Very comfy bed

Nice clean old place Nil
- Brenton (8/5): -
- Enrico (7/5): For one night stay. Perfect if not too fussy . - Location Lights in hallway. Shared bathrooms
- Trev (5/5): - Nothing in room except bed, for $100 would at least have a TV, Shared Bathroom was clean and modern, but ran water in shower for 10 minutes and still no hot water. Just gave up.
- Pamela (9/5): perfect for what I needed - for me the location is ideal
- River (8/5): Very good -
- Kurt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (8/5): Centrally Located Gem - Clean facilities. Comfortable room. Fantastic restaurant downstairs. Central location. Everything within walking distance. Close to public transport. Cheaper drinking options for guests than full bar price for things like soft drinks would be fantastic. A vending machine for example.
- Sally (8/5): Very good - Complimentary drink with dinner.
- Kim (9/5): Superb - Great service and great food Had to leave to early after a great sleep
- Dr (4/5): Was cheaper that a motel on a school holiday night but that is about all - Noisy. Shared bathroom. Needed to be quieter. Could hear road traffic all night.
- Trueman (7/5): Good -
- Ramirez (7/5): Good - Good location.. Didn't realise that we have shared bathrooms and toilets...
- Shayne (8/5): Very good - Comfortable and clean

- Jos (8/5): Very good -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Billie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sally (3/5): Poor -
- Ashley (5/5): Good place to stay for a night, let down by the rude staff member. - Rude and unhelpful staff at the bar who didn't understand what I meant when I asked to check in. Young guy with brown hair just kept barking at me 'what' 5 or 6 times when asking where to check in.
- Melissa (6/5): Pleasant - It's a hotel room above a pub, so room went in with expectations to match. The pub downstairs looked very busy and lively with locals. There's parking behind the hotel as well as on-street parking. Using the external staircase/ fire exit to enter the premises after 11pm via the bathroom wasn't ideal - do not do this with heels after a couple of drinks as the stairs are metal grates.
There's only two shared toilets and one has a shower attached. Only one shower for all guests.
No mirrors in the bed room and the double bed was small with one side pushed up against a wall.
- Michael (8/5): Good -
- Aaron (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (9/5): Comfortable room. - Basic , easy access and comfortable room.
- Amie (7/5): Accomodating and comfortable - Food and service was great There is no window latch to be able to stop the window from opening had my child fallen out the window when they tried to open it it would have been fatal this is an OHS issue and MUST be addressed
- Mustafa (7/5): Good -
- Patricia (10/5): Fine for what I needed. - Location was fine. I did not eat at the hotel. The room I had was rm 4. It was fine for a single person for a night or 2. The room needs a bit of TLC. A chair & a mirror would help.
- Tony (9/5): Superb -
- Bush (5/5): Passable -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Soo (9/5): Superb -
- David (7/5): Good -
- Amelia (6/5): It was nice and comfortable - Very noisy down stairs early morning, sounded like cleaners
- Kerry (5/5): Overnighter - Good location, close to town. Great meal in bistro Shared bathroom was old and a bit grubby. Would be good to have a small fridge in bedroom.
- Anna (8/5): Very good -
- Douglas (8/5): Good - The heater in the room was excellent and warm!
- Samuel (8/5): Great value, great staff! - Great value, staff were professional and polite. The pub/restaurant served great food downstairs and for a good price. Whilst not in the very heart of the city, it was not far out enough that it was a hassle to get anywhere. Plenty of other food options within walking distance. Stayed on a weekend and the noise from the pub downstairs was quite loud when trying to sleep, but this is to be expected when staying somewhere above a pub!
- Andrew (9/5): Excellent - Great location and great service Old style pub rooms but this was all we required
- Kurt (10/5): Exceptional -
