• Lech (5/5): Much overpaid with a need of renovation. - The host was very good, maintaining communication and looking after us. The location was great. We stayed there for 2 nights. Actually the "Deluxe King Studio" is a motel room in a motel, with all common access and facilities. Despite the description, we did not have washing machine in the room. There was one, common for the whole floor, looking a bit unpleasant. The common upper floor corridor was simply filthy. With the beach nearby and carpet floors there is a bit of a permanent sand residue in the carpets. The unit, particularly the bathroom is in an urgent need of refurbishment. TV hardly had any fluent transmition. We found the description quite a misleading, definitely not worth $600 for a night.
• grant (7/5): A nice stay - Very clean and close to amenities. The Tv arial for the whole complex is shocking so you cannot watch anything properly. There is no room service and you have to pay for the washing machines. phone reception is difficult.

No view really at all from the room - Host didn’t provide lock box key prior to arrival and didn’t return my call for 45 min after a long drive w kids. Repair man let me in Electricity cut out. I didn’t know the real name of the motel complex by the listing name

• Susan (8/5): A long weekend getaway - It was in a great location. Close to the shops and beach. A cute little apartment with a spa bath, which I took full advantage of. It would be great for just a couple. Has a little balcony overlooking the car park that you can sit at a small table for your morning coffee. It has a small kitchenette so you can cook as well. Also offers a small dining table to sit at. It has cute Paris decor, which I loved. I picked this accommodation because it offered a pull out sofa bed. This accommodation had a king-size bed and sofa bed, which I thought would be perfect for myself and my teenage son. The sofa bed was really uncomfortable. My son could not get comfortable, so on the 2nd and 3rd nights, I slept in a sofa bed as I'm a smaller frame. The mattress is so thin, and you can feel the metal bars when you try to move. Unfortunately, it doesn't have wifi, and the free to air TV has really bad reception, so you only have DVDs to watch when it's raining and you are stuck inside.

• Rani (10/5): Great host, great location, comfortable bed. - The host was extremely responsive and friendly, and even left a little welcome gift out for us. The place was comfy and nice and close to the beach and centre of town. The spare bed is a fold-out couch bed, which seemed more or less fine for our kid, but might not be that comfortable for an adult.

• Thi (9/5): Gem in Lorne - Sally was a very attentive host who catered to our needs despite our booking being a last-minute reservation. Plenty of towels, generous with toiletries, and it was fantastic to have access to the laundry facilities. The location was close to the beach and local shops. Good sized bathroom. The walk up the hill was rather tough due to steep slope.

• Alex (6/5): Great location but a bit disappointed it was part of a motel and the view was over a car park - The location was great, the bed was really comfortable and the spa bath was fun. The communication from the host was also good. The reception for the TV was dodgy and the bathroom was tired (cracked hand basin, burn mark on the side of the spa bath, sink plug missing and caulking needs replacing). We were also surprised the studio is part of a motel complex with views over a car park and towards the back of the Lorne Hotel.

• Cutler (7/5): Good - Location relative to town amenities was great. A well presented unit suitable for a couple. Unit is too small for any more than a couple. As a small family we were very squeezed, and the small balcony provided no relief. Kitchen is small and basic. Sofa bed is uncomfortable.
