• Graham (5/5): Unnecessarily stressful - An excellent apartment in a superb location. Very central but generally quiet, in a pedestrian street lined with plants. It's mostly well furnished. The washing machine does not work - this has been reported before but it still doesn't work. In the kitchen there is an induction hob but half the pans are not induction compatible so can't be used. The shower temperature can fluctuate wildly - maybe the mixer is not thermostatic. Worst was the complete lack of communication from the agent. We messaged him three times in the days before arrival asking about keys etc, but he didn't reply to any. So we turned up at the address hoping there would be someone there, but it was all locked. We phoned him, three times, but he never answered. Later he sent a WhatsApp message asking what time we were arriving (we had already "checked in" online stating our arrival time). Finally, after we had waited outside for over an hour, someone turned up and unlocked the door, handed us the keys and hurried away.
• Ondrej (9/5): - Very good location for various trips (by car) to Teide NP, forests beyond La Orotava, and the main highway. Accommodation is close to the city center (Orotava), with beautifull terrace with excellent views!! Parking in front of the house is also convenient. The equipment is simple, but nicely corresponds with the atmosphere of La Orotava. I have everything I need. The kitchen is well-equipped. The hosts were very nice, and I felt really welcome and in a sort of home atmosphere, which is not usual these days. These are not cons, just notes: - The apartment is on the second floor; if you have mobility disabilities, this may not be the right place. - The road to Orotava center is very steep (as in many places on Tenerife), so again, it is not ideal for low mobility people.
• roswitha (9/5): - Die Lage in der wunderschönen Gasse ist beeindruckend. Mitten im.Zentrum trotzdem.ruhig. In der Wohnung gibt es alles was man braucht. Die Heizung/Klimaanlage ist sehr laut.
• Michael (2/5): Enttäuschende Unterkunft mit mangelhafter Ausstattung und unprofessionellem Umgang vom Gastgeber. - Die Lage war grundsätzlich in Ordnung, und der Strand war fußläufig erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war in vielerlei Hinsicht enttäuschend. Das als „Schlafsofa“ bezeichnete Sofa war durchgelegen und unbrauchbar zum Schlafen. Die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer war defekt; der Abluftschlauch fiel ständig aus der Wand, sodass keine Kühlung möglich war. Trotz mehrfacher Hinweise wurde nichts unternommen. Die Waschmaschine funktionierte nur, wenn man beim Starten gezielt dagegen drückte. Auch hier war Hilfe erst nach wiederholtem Nachfragen verfügbar. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war äußerst schwierig: Er spricht kein Englisch und antwortete nur nach mehrmaligem Anschreiben über WhatsApp. Eine offizielle Rechnung wurde trotz mehrfacher Anfragen – auch durch Booking.com – nicht ausgestellt. Bei der Abreise war niemand zur Übergabe anwesend. Der Gastgeber bat uns, den Schlüssel im Salon seiner Frau zu hinterlegen, und warf uns später vor, das Apartment unordentlich hinterlassen zu haben – eine unbegründete Anschuldigung. Zusätzlich befand sich eine laute Musikschule in unmittelbarer Nähe, und die Müllcontainer waren über 200 Meter entfernt.

En cuanto a Alain, es una persona muy amable. Nos recibió sin problemas a una hora tardía imprevista. Nos resolvió nuestras dudas y aportó recomendaciones interesantes. Me gustó todo.
• Dmytro (10/5): - Great location, right in the middle of everything a tourist needs. The host was very friendly, met us and showed everything. The apartment has all you need. Parking could be tricky nearby, but there is a huge public parking by the sea very close to the apartment.

• Attila (10/5): Exceptional - Best option to stay in Puerto de la Cruz. Brand new apartment, full furnished and full equipped the kitchen. Everything was in (really) 1-2 minutes walking. The chek-in process could be easier... keybox with one-time code, for instance...
• Особа (10/5): The apartment was perfectly located, beautifully furnished, and made our stay in the city enjoyable - We recently spent 7 days in this beautiful apartment and were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the furniture and the apartment as a whole, never regretting our choice. It was incredibly clean, well-furnished, and had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. The location is perfect, situated in the center of Puerto de la Cruz, so all the tourist attractions are nearby. The beaches are easily accessible, just a short 10-12 minute walk away. Restaurants, souvenir shops, fruit markets with local food, and a supermarket (Alteza) are all within a 2-3 minute walk from the flat. Upon arrival, we were amazed that the place was even better than expected. The furniture and amenities were brand new, and the entire apartment was newly renovated, so there were no insects at all. The soundproofing was unbelievably effective, considering that there is a restaurant beneath the apartment that operates until late, yet we heard no noise. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, with a double bed and a fold-out sofa. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly—fast and reliable, with no complaints. The furnishings matched the photos exactly—everything was clean and tidy. There is a perfectly functioning air conditioner in the main room and another in the bedroom, along with an additional lamp fan. There is also a laundry room. The whole kitchen is entirely new and well-equipped with everything needed to prepare a meal. We were also delighted to receive a bottle of wine from our host. Our host, Alain, was very responsive and helpful. He went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming, always responding quickly and willing to help when needed. From the moment we booked, he maintained constant communication, providing all the details necessary for a smooth check-in. The host offered us a transfer from the airport for a reasonable fee. (Continued) (Continued) The driver was waiting for us at arrivals with a sign and accompanied us on the journey. He was also very helpful in providing information about local shops, their opening times, and explaining every detail about the apartment upon arrival. The only suggestion for improvement would be for the host to buy some wooden or silicone spoons and spatulas; otherwise, the pans will get damaged over time. We fully enjoyed our stay here and definitely recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and safe place. If we return to Puerto de la Cruz, we would unconditionally stay here again. Nothing to complain about; for us, it was perfect.
