- Terry (7/5): Very enjoyable, the one or two negatives about the apartment, did not affect our stay. - Big and spacious. Good to have an Elevator to bring luggage up. Good location. Had an iron, but no ironing board. No air conditioning, just happened to come across some fans. Very noisy (until 2.00 am) for Room at the front of the property.
- Kavitha (7/5): Good - The location is excellent and there are restaurants all around. Walking distance to many of the spots in Florence. 15 mins walk to Santa Novella Train Station. It is a large apartment with spacious bedrooms- almost 2 studio apartments merged into one with large airy windows. It has a functional lift which is the smallest and slowest I've come across but gets the job done in moving suitcases up and down the 3 storeys. No Air conditioner but it has 3 cooler fans which are efficient. Besides, the windows bring in fresh air(but also mosquitoes). The sheets and comforter on the bed didn't smell fresh and were also torn. The kitchen has a washing machine, fridge and dishwasher but is bare and didn't have detergent for the washing machine. There were other basic cleaning supplies which were probably being used to clean the flat after the guest leaves. But nothing for the actual convenience of the guests while they are there. There are 3 bathrooms, none ensuite and only one of them had a proper shower area. The second bathroom is so very tiny with just a shower curtain put next to the EWC which is not easy to use. The third bathroom doesn't have a shower. Also there are no shades on the windows of these bathrooms. The windows of the other flats on the upper and lower floors in the building can look directly into the bathrooms of this flat, hence not giving any privacy while using the toilet and shower areas. Almost all the windows and doors were difficult to close as the mechanism has been painted over. My family and I would have enjoyed our stay at this flat if the owners had put in some thought into all of the above.
