Guest Reviews
- Chris (9/5): - Clean, comfortable and well kitted-out. Friendly owner who provided lots of useful information.
The view from the roof terrace is amazing - you can look East over the whole of the centre of Rome.
There are lots of embassies nearby and the area is quiet. Easy to walk into the centre or to the Vatican, but the apartment is up a bit of a hill - check the terrain will suit if you want to walk.

- Shane (10/5): Fantastic apartment in a historic and beautifully preserved building overlooking the eternal city. - Where do I start with this wonderful place? Well for a start I can safely say we had the best hosts ever in Fabrizio and Stefano. So helpful with regard to explaining everything about the apartment, its history, the area we were in and pointing out where we would find all local amenities and sights. The building has been in their family for over a century at least and it's been lovingly preserved and restored as a guest house and holiday apartments with many of the old family heirlooms still on show in the communal areas. Our apartment was in the basement which meant it was nice and cool in the heat of the day but A/C is available if needed. The apartment itself is finished to a very high standard, with good lighting, shower/bathroom facilities, a very comfortable bedroom with plenty of clothes storage and a very large and well laid out open plan living/dining/kitchen area. A vintage elevator (harking from the 1930s I'd say) takes you up to the upper floors where a small flight of stairs and some steps take you out on the rooftop terrace which is available for guests use. The views out over the city are quite spectacular. The location of the apartment is also superb, it being in an affluent area (Garibaldi's heartland!) with embassies, excellent shopping and local parks and other historic attractions nearby. The bustling restaurant and bar scene of Trastevere (the best part of Rome in my humble opinion) is just a short 5-10 min walk downhill with The Vatican about 15-20 mins walk on the same side of the Tiber and the main tourist sites on the other side (Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, The Forum, Colosseum etc.) about 30-40 mins walk. Myself and my wife stayed here and we both totally fell in love with the place. Probably the best accommodation I've ever booked on Booking.com. Nothing. Everything was absolutely perfect.
