Guest Reviews
- Angela (8/5): Simple cozy apartment at a good location - The apartment is very spacious compared to hotels and other homestay/apartments in the urban area of Tokyo. The facilities are good enough for a small family. But beware that sleeping on futons is not for everyone - people who are used to soft beds will likely have trouble sleeping. There are some minor things but none of them is a big deal, e.g. the sliding doors are a bit dated and need some brute force to open/close; the towels provided aren’t very absorbent and we ended up buying our own from Daiso.
- D (8/5): It was worth it for the price and I would stay there again if I wanted to save money. - The towels provided were genuinely, really bad at drying. It felt like using a fluffy wet cloth across your body & no water was actually wiped off.
- Traveler (10/5): no need to communicate with staff and comfortable for stay - The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. It only need one transfer from the airport. I took bus and bus stop was only a three-minute walk from the property. Conveniently, there was a supermarket near the stop, making it easy to grab some snacks or essentials on the way.
The bed linens and covers were freshly laundered and carried a pleasant fragrance. The mattress was soft and comfortable. All the essential amenities were well-prepared and readily available.
Initially, I was concerned about rooms could not use . Actually stairs right at the entrance separated the spaces, witch do not make it a problem. The pillows could have been a bit firmer for better neck support, as they felt too soft for my preference.
- Bunnies (2/5): Convenient Location but Major Issues with Bedding and Amenities - The location was excellent—just a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway station and within walking distance (a bit over 20 minutes) to the Asakusa area.
We also appreciated how spacious the property was. We needed to test and set up some gear for work, and the space provided more than enough room for that. Unfortunately, our stay did come with some challenges. The futon mattress was extremely thin and immediately gave both of us backaches. It was about as thick as a blanket, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. We ended up stacking two futons and two blankets to create a small sleeping area that we had to squeeze into, which was the worst bedding experience we’ve ever had.
The bathroom washlet was broken and unplugged. Even after plugging it in, it did not function.
The fridge worked, but it leaked a significant amount of water from the bottom, so we had to place towels to keep the floor dry.
Additionally, only four small towels were provided, which was insufficient for the two of us to dry off after showers. To make matters worse, the towels had an unpleasant odor, so we ended up buying our own.
- Andy (8/5): A nice spacious apartment with all the amenities that you would need. - The apartment was spacious, clean and quiet. The facilities were great, with everything you would need. The futons were not very comfortable, similar to sleeping on the floor.
- Grzegorz (8/5): Very good - A nice and spacy apartment on the sixth floor. Good location, walking distance from metro. Really good value for the price. There are just a few easy steps to make clients' experience better - provide few new cups, glasses, tea spoons, knifes. Some liquid soap and big towels. A little bigger table to let 2-3 people eat together. And the apartment will be almost perfect.
