Yoanna (1/5): Disappointing Stay - The villa is spacious and close to the beach. I have been visiting Playa Blanca twice a year for the past 15 years and have stayed in many villas. Unfortunately, this was by far my worst experience. Upon arrival, one of the showers was clogged and unusable, and the villa’s Wi-Fi didn’t work. I spent at least two days of my stay trying to arrange repairs, which took a lot of time and energy. The biggest problem was the presence of small ants throughout the villa—mainly in the kitchen, on the dining table, inside the toilets, near sinks and toothbrushes, on walls, on side tables, and even in our suitcases, backpacks, beds, and on our bodies. The villa management offered ant spray, but it wasn’t feasible to use it in areas where food is prepared, on beds, or near clothes. I declined fumigation, as this requires the villa to be empty of guests. Despite multiple requests for partial compensation to accommodate elsewhere, the management refused. The villa itself needs refreshing: the furniture is basic, and the mattresses and couch are uncomfortable. Additionally, the villa is on a road with passing buses, making it less pleasant to sit by the pool. Overall, I cannot recommend this villa and will not return.
