• LolaMontero (8/5): Casa con entorno muy bonito - La casa es preciosa, el exterior y el jardín están cuidados. El anfitrión hace todo lo posible para q tengas una buena estancia. La habitación tiene un tamaño normal y con un armario amplio. Ell baño era pequeñito. Para el finde es suficiente y tiene todo lo necesario.

A strong smell of drugs at all times!! No clean towels had to ask no emptying of bins !

The bedroom was very hot with just the fan, air conditioning would have been lovely but in fairness it was a heatwave.

• Charles (10/5): Fantastic stay while villa hunting - We had an amazing stay at Lavender Lodge and this was down to the wonderful hospitality shown to us by Wag the owner. We were made to feel at home straight from the start with a very much my home is your home feel and nothing was too much trouble even down to the telephone calls we had to make to estate agents and solicitors as my phone was not connecting. The garden and terrace are very pretty with a good sized pool and plenty of sunbeds to catch the sun but also shade if needed. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Nothing!!

There is use of lounge and kitchen, toiletries and hairdryer available if required. Very welcoming and amenable to requests and information on the area (and anything else you might need to know as Wag is very knowledgeable). Very relaxed atmosphere. Was sad to leave but will definitely remain friends. A real find. Can't think of anything at all.

As I was there to view properties, the advice from my host and neighbours was invaluable. All genuine, honest, helpful people that can't do enough for you. Best value for money in the area. Not forgetting his friend & neighbour Jimmy who was also fantastic & very friendly & helpful. Very good bedroom with an ensuite shower room. Free use of kitchen facilities. Plenty of seating in the shade & also shaded parking area. This turned out to be a very good base for checking the area prior to retirement in Spain with Wag & Jimmy giving good advice Limited fridge space for guests, need to get another fridge Wag.
• Alan (10/5): Wag was the perfect host, he went out of his way to help us. His local knowledge was invaluable. - We were self catering for breakfast but all of the facilities we needed were there. The pool area was wonderful and after a hard morning viewing houses the pool was very welcome The accommodation is not 5 star but then it doesn't pretend to be. The room was en-suite, clean and tidy and was all that was needed.
• Iris (10/5): A tranquil time at lavender lodge - The hosts were very kind, our room had everything we hoped for (own shower and very comfortable beds) and we could use the kitchen to prepare our own meals. Enjoyed the swimming pool and overall chill vibe. The lodge is easy to reach, and we had no trouble parking our car at the lodge. We found there was not a lot going on in the area, allthough we did enjoy the solitude for the time being.

• Neil (10/5): We were looking at properties,when we came back at the end of the day there was always a cold beer. - We chose not to have breakfast but it was on offer...location was spot on for us as it was only a few minutes drive to Arboleas and the motorway. Could have done with a bigger bathroom, but the two of us managed no problem, the water was always hot and plenty of it. We had the run of the kitchen where we could make a cuppa at anytime of the day.

• Tiina (10/5): Had the time of my life! - Lavender Lodge is a hidden gem surrounded by lovely mountain views in Los Terreros, close to Albolea. The Lodge is picture perfect with its garden and blooming flowers, nice patio with tables and chairs. The house is spotlessly clean, the rooms are decorated with taste and the beds are comfortable. The host, Wag, is charming and ever so helpful. Unfortunately did have the opportunity to meet Kerry, but spoke to her and she seemed to be just as great and attentive host as Wag. Will return definitely. Also can recommend to others. -
