• Simon (6/5): Jolie case typique dans son jus - Le personnel est très prévenant, aux petits soins. Un petit déjeuner très copieux, servi frais au moment, à l'assiette sur la terrasse. Joli jardin avec piscine et petites cases typiques de la région. Restauration possible en commande et livraison l'hôte vous donne tous les détails. Le repas égyptien est qualitatif. Il y a un restaurant pas très loin à pied, qui est également bon Tabliah. La literie tâchée et vieillissante. Ne pas regarder dans le détail concernant le ménage mais les draps, serviettes et SDB sont propres. Pas de volets aux fenêtres ni de rideaux occultants. Dans l'ensemble l'établissement mériterait une petite rénovation.

• NATHALIE (10/5): Excellent séjour de 3 jours - Un séjour authentique en Égypte. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une gentillesse remarquable. Ralled a été exceptionnel du début à la fin : toujours aux petits soins, plein d’attention et soucieux de notre confort. L’établissement est un véritable écrin de verdure, où règnent calme et sérénité. Les aménagements typiques, restent simples, ce qui participe au charme du lieu et à son authenticité. L’hôtel légèrement isolé, permet de profiter pleinement d’un environnement paisible et dépaysant. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, typique et entièrement fait maison, un vrai régal pour bien commencer la journée. Les horaires d’arrivée et de départ sont très flexibles, ce qui permet de profiter du séjour en toute sérénité, sans aucune pression. Le gérant a été également très réactif et toujours disponible pour nous aider dans l’organisation des taxis et des excursions si besoin, ce qui facilite grandement le séjour. Nous repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs Un grand merci à Ralled !

• Ruby (10/5): Kind staff and beautiful nature retreat - Our stay at Sekhmet Retreat Center was amazing. The staff took care of everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They helped us plan excursions and get around the city. Karim and and Khaled were exceptional. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. Felt like we had our own private nature oasis.

La comida deliciosa, y ellos super atentos a todo lo que necesitábamos. La ubicación, algo lejos del centro, siempre teniamos que utilizar taxi. Además, teniamos una mezquita cerca que a las 5 de la mañana sonaba muy fuerte el llamamiento al rezo.

• RALUCA (10/5): amazing stay near hot baloon - the room was big and with all facilities, the breakfast very good and garden and pool very clean. We had an amazing stay and Ahmet ad his father Kerim were very kind and helped us with everything.
• GDSK (6/5): Overpriced okay place - It is an ok place consisting of many rooms around a pool and gardens. The caretaker is an amazing person who speaks virtually no english but is very helpful and a kind soul. The senior management is not helpful, the rooms and bathroom were not very clean and way overpriced for what is on offer. The guests have to pay separately for water bottles which are de riguer in Egypt
• Gawon lee (9/5): 이집트에서 여유를 찾을 수 있는 동화마을 같은 곳 - 남편과 간 이집트 여행 중 카이로, 아스완에서 한창 시달리고(?) 있던 중 루소르에 체크인하고 마음이 녹았어요. 숙소 관리자인 Karim이 언제 체크인을 하는지도 왓챕으로 물어봐줬고, 늦은시간 체크인을 했음에도 불구하고 이 숙소는 너무 이쁘고 아름다웠어요! 특히 직원 Khaled가 숙소 여기저기를 안내해줬는데 오렌지 나무도 너무 이뻤고 마치 동화나라에 온 것 같았어요. 조용하고 아침에 새소리와 함께 숙소 앞 정원을 걷는게 너무 좋았어요. 순전히 Khaled의 긍정적인 기운이 너무 좋아서 이 숙소가 더 깊이 기억에 남네요:) 샤워기가 욕조 끝 벽에 달려있는게 아니라 중간 벽? 에 달려있어서 샤워후에 화장실이 항상 물바다가 되었어요. 아마 샤워커튼이나 샤워레드를 욕조 끝 벽쪽에 달면 더 나을 것 같아요. 이집트 음식을 힘들어하는 사람들을 위해 아침 메뉴가 조금 더 다양하게 있었으면 좋겠어요! 또 남편이 고양이를 싫어하는데 고양이가 너무 많았어요.
• CAROLINE (8/5): Der Garten wird so liebevoll gepflegt , es ist ein Genuss. - Das Personal ist wundervoll und so herzlich und liebevoll !! vielen dann an alle Die Moschee war direkt neben unserem Zimmer. Ramadan hatte begonnen und so fanden wir oft keinen Schlaf.

La proximité de la mosquée car nous avons séjourné le premier jour du ramadan et l'isolation phonique n'est pas au rdv pour cette occasion.. La 2eme nuit, il y avait évidemment beaucoup moins de bruit et nous avons dormi correctement.

Emplacement à côté d’une rue passante et très bruyante, loin de tout, porte vitrée sans rideau (lumière des éclairages extérieurs et soleil le matin), mur fin comme du papier, le règlement du séjour sur place sans aucune indication et les cafards
• Yaroslav (9/5): Good value - Big rooms and big nice garden, it is perfect place to unwind. The staff are really nice and helpful. The place is too remote from the city center, so every time you have to take a long ride from the West Bank to the city centre, around 20 min.
• Cox (10/5): - Beautiful gardens, and all the staff are so kind and polite and helpful. The beds are really comfortable and spacious and have private ensuite bathrooms. The small pool area is super relaxing with very comfortable sun beds. Breakfast is simple but delicious. This beautiful oasis is away from all the hustle and bustle of Luxor centre and is a perfect place to unwind after lots of sightseeing. Definitely worth a visit. The only slight drawback is that it is situated next to a small mosque which is to start with was a little disturbing at the 5am call to prayer but by the second night we got used to it and slept right through.

La mosquée située juste à côté fait pas mal de bruit, mais les horaires n’empiète pas sur le sommeil. De plus, il n’y a pas vraiment de réception ce qui peut être un peu déroutant. Cependant, le personnel tourne toujours dans le parc, donc il est facile de les trouver.

It is a short trip, so didn't get to try the swimming pool, but it looked clean and it's mere presence was refreshing. The garden is beautiful, plants looked very happy. There were some water bowls left for birds and cats to drink from. In the morning, Khaled, the care-taker, puts on incense in the garden. He is very welcoming and ready to help with information about the city, transport, prices or anything else I asked. Wifi.

• Renata (4/5): - The one person staff member really sweet really helpful really nice the manager Karim really nice really attentive On the first day there was a water pump that kept me up all night second day they tried to fix that but woke up in the middle of the night to brush my teeth there was no water in the sink the shower was hot for a little bit not enough hot water and I take showers really fast the location was way farther than I thought and the pictures are misleading they look that they were taken at least 15 years ago so the place it's a little bit run down.

• Ana (7/5): Ok for a short stay - If you want to experience a more traditional type of accommodation, this is the right place (mud-brick houses). The garden is nice and well maintained, and there is a swimming pool where you can cool off, especially if you visit during a hot period. Breakfast is simple (omelet, yogurt, butter, jam, bread, and beans). There are cute cats around the property that keep you company throughout the day. There is a small shop next to the property where you can buy water or other essentials, and two decent restaurants within a 20 minute walking distance. Overall, it’s a ok place for a short stay (up to 2 nights). Sound insulation is basically nonexistent – you can hear everything happening outside. There is a mosque just a few meters away, so the loudspeaker is very loud during the call to prayer (5 times a day, including around 5 in the morning) Our room was connected to another room by a locked door, so you can hear the neighbors as if they were in the same room. Since the property is located in a courtyard/garden area, expect a lot of mosquitoes. Room cleanliness could be improved, and some facilities need an upgrade (for example the toilet seat was very old and worn). The area where the retreat is located is not that walkable, you need a taxi (inDrive) to go around.
• Nandan (10/5): Beautiful and serene property - Lovely property with gardens, walkways. Looks like a beautiful hideout. Hosts were extremely welcoming and made sure our stay was comfortable. I would recommend anyone booking to reserve half a day to just spend time in the property which unfortunately we couldn't do and wish we had more time.

Very few but crucial points . I didn’t have soap in the bathroom and was only served with conditioner samples by the bathtub. Then had to ask for it . A bit more of organization in the reception and attention to the tiny details will make this place amazing.maybe once popular , think of adding shuttle services or pickup at an extra cost

Een oase van rust met ruime kamers, veel groen, een zwembad en super vriendelijk personeel! Khalid en Karim hebben er alles aan gedaan om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Heerlijk landen hier na n volle Tempel dag in Luxor! Ideaal op de Westbank dichtbij de hotspots en ook bij het vliegveld. Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een ontspannen verblijf in Luxor! Ik kom graag terug met mijn volgende groep :) Met Liefde, Esther Een klein koelkastje en waterkoker op de kamer zou een fijn extraatje zijn. De bedden waren voor sommigen van ons wat hard. Verder niets dan lof :)

Para llegar al hotel tienes que ir en taxi o bien cruzar el río en barco y después coger un taxi o tuktuk. No obstante, está cerca de maravillas como el valle de los reyes, el valle de las reinas,...
• Elaine (10/5): A sanctuary in Luxor. We loved Sekhmet, it was our haven after long days exploring Luxor - It was like a sanctuary, beautiful grounds and nature and the staff were amazing. It felt like home and the dinner was so good! We will definitely be back next time.

• Fran fromtheworld (10/5): Amazing garden, swimmingpool, a quiet oasis inside the city, you enter and it's quiet, private, safe - What a beautiful quiet oasis inside the city! The rooms are quiet and big, bed is so comfortable, the bathroom is big and have a bathtub! and the garden so spacious, there is swimming pool, tables, everything is elegantly clean and relaxing! The manager is the best, he helped me with everything and they are kind with solo woman traveler, you will feel good there!
• Renate (10/5): Luxor Westbank. - Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits von Luxor aber nur 10 min von den Sehenswürdigkeit auf der Westbank entfernt. Ein wunderschöner Garten mit einem sehr sauberen gepflegten Pool perfect geeignet zur Abkühlung nach einem Besichtigungstag.sind ein grosses Plus. Extrem freundlicher Empfang durch Khaled der jederzeit erreichbar ist und alle Wünsche prompt erfüllt. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber super sauber gross und mit bequemen Betten ausgestattet. mit einem ebenfalls sehr sauberem Bedezimmer. Das orientalische Frühstück wird auf Wunsch im schönen Garten oder im Zimmer serviert und war sehr lecker. Karim der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und jederzeit erreichbar wir hatten einen kostenlosen late check out was sehr angenehm war da unser Bus erst um 17 Uhr ging. Zusammenfassend können wir Sekhmet wirklich empfehlen. Die Preis - leistung stimmt zu 100%. Vielen Dank Karim und Khaled für die schöne Zeit. Wir kommen wieder. ❤️ ES GIBT NICHTS AUSZUSETZEN😁

Whole place needs cleaning and maitaning - sunbeds covers are dirty, bathroom needs extra cleaning, there was a dust inside the wardrobe
• Gaetan (9/5): Super endroit très calme et très agréable ! - Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! La chambre était très grande, tout comme la salle de bain, et surtout très propre. L’espace extérieur est un vrai havre de paix : un joli jardin, une belle piscine et beaucoup de calme. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et varié (yaourt, pains, omelette, jus, miel, confiture…). Mention spéciale aux house keepers, adorables, très accueillants et parlant bien anglais qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous avons également apprécié la possibilité de commander un taxi directement via l’hébergement. Un endroit que je recommande sans hésiter ! Le wifi est vraiment pas top Manque d’un petit frigo dans la chambre
• Clément (8/5): If you want to feel the Luxor’s hospitality, Go definitely to Sehkmet Retreat Centre - We loved the kindness of the staff, especially at the breakfast time and when we were leaving and coming. The cats were very happy to visit our room sometimes and we loved that. We did not really enjoyed the noise from the next room next to us, and on our first we had someone very earlier morning trying opening the door, it was an accident, but it’s okay the rest of the stay was very nice
• Claudia Lorena (10/5): Oasis de paz - El lugar es muy acogedor. Un oasis de paz. Destaco la limpieza del lugar, la amplitud de la habitación, lo cuidado y lindo del jardín. Es admirable la amabilidad del señor que se encarga del cuidado de las instalaciones, le pedí su nombre, pero en este momento no lo recuerdo. Fue extremadamente amable con nosotros en todo momento. Lo mismo puedo decir de quien gestionó toda nuestra reserva, quien se presentó y se puso a disposición para lo que necesitáramos. El desayuno fue muy completo y lo tuvieron listo para el horario en que lo solicitamos para comenzar con nuestro tour. Realmente recomiendo el hotel y estoy segura que de volver a Luxor lo escogeríamos.

• Geyson (5/5): - The swimming pool was really nice, there's nothing like it after a really hot day. The two guys working there were really nice and kind. My mattress was very hard. In my brother's room, there was a worm and hair in the bed.

• Aina (10/5): Perfecto - Nos gustó el jardín y el techo de la habitación La ubicación está lejos del centro pero cerca del Valle de los reyes, el Uber es un poco malo en todo Luxor
• Corinne (9/5): - Personnel très attentionné et accueillant, toujours disponible pour nous. Environnement idéal, belle déco extérieure, herbe verte, jardin bien entretenu. Magnifique piscine propre et serviettes à disposition. Manquerait un petit frigo dans la chambre pour avoir des bouteilles fraîches. Malheureusement le restaurant était fermé mais une épicerie à proximité nous a bien dépannés. Matelas dur (mais chacun ses goûts). Pommeau de douche absent, compliqué la toilette dans une baignoire. Mais vraiment j'insiste, chacun ses exigences et tout cela n'a pas empêché de passer 2 excellentes nuits dans cet hébergement.

• Victoria (7/5): - Beautiful grounds and rooms, lovely pool if a little dusty. Looked lovely at night 🌙 Limited staff with equally minimal English, which made it tricky trying to communicate when issues arose. The facilities were quite basic.

• Marietta (10/5): Very relaxing, amazing staff, and good food - This is truly a retreat! The property is very quiet and relaxing, day and night! There was a young gentleman who worked here who was very kind, helpful, and such a hard worker! He would ask if we needed anything, would clean the pool without me even having to ask, and even went out to buy us some water when we asked where we could get some, an absolute gem. The hotel is gorgeous on the inside and it truly feels so relaxing. The owner messaged every night to ask what time we’d like breakfast to be served and even accommodated an early breakfast on our last day as we’d be checking out very early. The area is close to most popular tourist activities such as the hot air balloon and the valley of the kings (can’t walk to it but the drive is short). The check in process was a little confusing. We got there late at night and there wasn’t anyone to greet us, one of the other travellers contacted the owner and found out which room we’d be staying at, which had the key on the door so we let ourselves in. The entrance doesn’t clearly show that there is a hotel there, luckily our driver knew the hotel and mentioned this is a common occurrence. The area is away from the city centre so there aren’t many places to eat or explore around but it is a “retreat centre” so this contributed to how quiet and peaceful it was. There was free wifi but it didn’t work most times so I would have been disconnected if I didn’t have service on my phone. They only take cash to pay for your stay so have enough cash to cover this.
• Mathilde (10/5): Un havre de tranquillité à quelques minutes de la vallée des rois - Le personnel très attentionné, discret et gentil. Merci à Ahmed pour sa gentillesse. La localisation parfaite de l'hôtel à seulement quelques minutes de la vallée des rois et des principaux temples de la rive ouest. L'hôtel est un vrai havre de paix avec un magnifique jardin intérieur et une piscine parfaite pour la chaleur estivale, parfait pour se reposer près une journée de visite. Quelques coffee shop et une petite épicerie juste à côté, très pratique. Rien !
• aude (7/5): Correct et très joli pour un séjour de courte durée. - Piscine top après une journée chaude et intense de visite. Cadre très joli. Personnel serviable. Petit déjeuner égyptien sympa. Pas de restaurant sur place. Le repas simple est en fait commandé dans un restaurant du coin. Tarif non négocié. Mosquée juste à côté. Réveil nocturne pour les plus sensibles. Énormes problèmes de climatisation. Karim a fait tout ce qu’il a pu pour que ça fonctionne mais ça reste aléatoire et sans clim, ce n’est pas possible. Des petits insectes dans les chambres mais c’est normal, on est dans un beau jardin.
• Brian (6/5): Pleasant - The place is really cute! Nice rooms and close to the valley. The manager was a strange guy. First he was nice but then everything changed. Crossing boundaries. No private space. I had to block his phone number, because he was still trying to call me yesterday. He is a nice guy in his heart but he came to close.
