• SGWEST (6/5): Very clean, on the edge of town and easy to walk to. Quiet and good wifi. - Home was clean. Beds were comfortable. Wifi worked. The address is a little confusing. The house has an address and it has a house number. The number on the street, next to the gate is not the same as the house number given. It's just a bit confusing. We tried the code, the door opened, figured we were in the right place. We did not have hot water, don't know why. I'm sure it's been rectified and the owner mgr was very nice about it but it was too late to to do anything about it so no showers. The kitchen had no kitchen knives, it had a set of steak knives but nothing to cut vegetables or bread... etc. We survived and the manager said he would add them for future guests. Hard to cook without knives.

Very close to markets and restaurants. Staff Jose was very communicative, responds quickly with our questions and requests. Very polite and accomodating. None.

• Jesús (9/5): - Excelente estancia con mis amigos. La casa es amplia y las camas son cómodas. Pasamos un gran día por el pueblo. Está un pelín alejado del centro del pueblo, pero si vas a hospedarte porque haces el camino de Santiago, tampoco importa andar un pelín más jejeje...

• FRANCISCO JAVIER (10/5): Buen sitio para hospedarse con muy buena calidad - Lo cuidado que está toda la vivienda con todo lujo de detalles. Huele muy bien porque tienen ambientadores difusores. Jardín por si se quiere salir a tomar el sol. Que estaba llena de moscas, puede ser normal por ser verano pero como sugerencia dejaría un bote de insecticida por si se cuelan moscas, porque todo lo demás está perfecto.

• Presley (10/5): On a girls trip doing the Camino and we needed a break. Decided to stay here and it was great! - It was lovely! So clean and very spacious, open and light.
• Mary (8/5): Portomarin is a sweet little town. - Very spacious 2-story home w/ plenty of bedrooms, beds & bathrooms. Great place to rest & relax in preparation for the next day of trekking! Unfortunately, the town of Portomarin has received alot of rain that impacted the city's water. Thankfully, we were able to obtain drinking water from a nearby restaurant since the grocery stores were already closed for the night.

• Thomas (10/5): Big, nice new house ideal for a group of Camino pilgrims. - A new independent house with a good quality building and finishing. The property has 4 bed rooms, well equipped kitchen, laundry and garage. So in fact it fits to accomodate a big extended family of up to 10 persons! Jose, the owner/manager is very friendly, reactive and helpful even if we communicate through WhatsAp only. He started giving us the guidance even weeks before we arrived in Portomarin. Will stay again there next time but surely with more member of our family (We felt sorry that such a big house is only occupied by 3 of us while the other Camino pilgrims had difficulty to find a lodge on that day of 01 May - Labour Day - where most hotels are fully booked). Muchas gracias, José! I would suggest to put a short information text on how to operate the jacuzzi shower on the first floor and how to set the heater. But that's only a minor things as then we got the direction from José.

• Robert (6/5): Spacious but lacking clarity. - Spacious with all the amenities. Great for large groups. The site lists the entire home, but the hosts want to know how many people are coming and will provide only one towel per guest and ask for more money for each bed that needs linens changed. The price on the website won't change if you add more guests, so go with the maximum even if you are only one or two. We were asked to pay additional money outside of booking.com A clothes dryer would be nice, but not required.
