La chambre était nous dirons propre mais beaucoup de moisissure partout et de l’humidité qui ressortait du parquet Il y avait également une odeur forte de tabac et de et de moisissure dû à l’humidité. Nous avons dû partir de cet hôtel payer nos deux nuits et reprendre un autre hôtel

• Steven (9/5): Great staff and location. - Wonderful, helpful English speaking staff and the location was fantastic! So close to everything in the old quarter. Great food and 24hr store mins away and a 7 min walk to the train station. Extended my stay from 6 to 8 nights. The showers were a little tricky to get a comfortable temp. and at times the wifi was a little slow, but as I said “I extended my stay and I would stay here again.”

• Taniadasfotos (10/5): Excellent stay - This was a last minute booking, considering the other place I had booked cancelled on me last minute. I booked at 10.30pm and checked in just after 11pm - the staff was waiting for me, the room was ready and was better than expected. Super comfortable beds, a nice balcony, hot shower, complimentary water and coffee, fridge and hairdryer, good wifi, I really enjoyed my stay here!
• Zara (2/5): Very poor - The lady was nice however other staff were unhelpful I hate writing bad reviews but feel like I have to be honest to other travellers. We arrived and we’re offered a ‘free upgrade’ to a tiny room (smaller than I had booked) which already confused us but we don’t like causing a fuss so agreed. However, once we started unpacking we noticed ants crawling all up the wall near the bed and along the cabinet, there was a DEAD lizard on the shelf in the bedside table and there was water leaking from the sink in the bathroom flooding the floor. When we went to reception to say we just couldn’t stay in that room they said sorry your original room has now gone, even though it had been 5/10 minutes. They had obviously over sold our original room and placed us in the worse option as a ‘free upgrade’. You couldn’t even go out onto the balcony, the ‘views’ were trees and the window was so thin it was so loud at night even though we are pretty good sleepers it kept us up! The only reason this is getting a 2 is because for the last night they said a room had become available so could we move, this room was average. It we had been given it at the start I would have rated the place 6/10.

• Jacqueline (5/5): You get what you pay for . - The bed was really comfortable. And the staff on reception were lovely. My room looked like it needed some TLC, It smelt damp. I found some air fresheners in the wardrobe so used them in the room and bathroom. The bathroom had a leak from under the sink which made the floor extremely wet and slippery. This was fixed on my last night. The shower was very temperamental. Cold to really hot. And as one of the last reviews wrote , the room was full of tiny ant like bugs crawling over the surfaces and on my phone screen. I did have 3 nights amazing sleep though .

The staff and location was the best part of the hotel. The room was big and decent but the shower was an annoyance. The shower doors were dirty and there was mold. The sheets had stains and look quite old. The walls were very thin, you can hear everything happening outside your room

• Martin (9/5): Awesome hotel in the Old Quarter - The room was really nice: comfortable bed, perfect AC, and a really good shower. The location is ideal since it is a bit far from the center but close enough to walk to it (less than 15 minutes). The staff was amazing; they were always super helpful and attentive. The WiFi was quite unstable. The bathroom had a bit of a bad smell sometimes, probably some pipe was broken or something (but it was really clean, it was not a matter of lack of cleaning).
• Matas (4/5): Avoid it - The bed was pretty comfortable and the location worked for what we wanted. Didn't hear traffic, so we slept alright. I paid extra for the room with a window, just to realize, that behind that window is a wall. The room felt a bit claustrophobic. The bathroom visually looked decent, but the sink was clogged and shower pressure was so low, that it took way too long to use it. But the worst part was that this room was filled with tiny bugs (like micro ants). At first I thought it was only the bathroom, but on a careful inspection we found them on night stands, on the floor around the bed and even on bed.

The room was good and comfortable, it wasn’t noisy at night. There is daily cleaning provided. There was coffee and tea in the room but no spoons or stirrers.

• Steven (9/5): Great for the night - The room was clean and spacious. The shower really worked good and we slept very well. The night guard checked us out in the early morning, which was very nice. The place is near the train station, so we could catch the train early. The curtains where not fully attached and there was a light shining from the window, we were able to fix it, which wasn't a big deal. There wasn't breakfast, so we had to go somewhere else to eat something
