- Stephen (5/5): - Very noisy
- Anthony (10/5): - Excellent bed and spotless facilities
- Michael (7/5): -
- Lee (9/5): Great service - Peter was exceptionally accommodating when we needed an early check-in and late check out, nothing was an issue It was a bit pricey, but i would stay there again as Peters' efforts were exceptional
- Rosanne (5/5): Passable - The price was OK
Shower was good
Not much else Mismatched cutlery, plates which one was badly chipped.
The air fryer was dirty with old fat still in it
Pillow case was yellow where people rested their head and the sheets were old
Outside table was dusty and dirty
Outside pathway had not had a blower over it for a very long time
Very disappointing
- Cherylynne (6/5): The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were great..Cleanliness could be put up a notch or two as there was a l - Overall it was quiet good the air fryer was dirty, the freezer way frozen solid and the roller shutters were broken .. the managers were good when I bought it up and relocated to another room The shower was open, no shower curtain and it made it cold ..a shower curtain would have made it much warmer, there was a large volume of
cold air coming in from the big gap where the door doesn’t meet the floor
- Peter (5/5): Passable -
- Robert (4/5): Overpriced. - Room key collected from letter box after ringing mobile contact number on reception door. Unsecured car parking with room facing onto vehicle turn area at rear of adjacent roadhouse. Bedroom window shuttered.
- Jill (2/5): Very poor - Complimentary water, chips and chocs were unexpected and good. We understand it was just an overnight stay but it was overpriced, needed refurbishing, noisy, draughty, the bathroom sink was disgusting, the bed head was loose and we had to put a towell over it to stop it banging into the wall.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb - Location great Internet reception unreliable
- Meredith (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jennifer (8/5): Appreciated the accommodation and easy no fuss booking - Convenient in an area of extremely limited options due to remote area
- Barbara (2/5): Very poor - This was a truckie/tradie pit stop. Noisy, dirty and unmaintained.
- Rob (5/5): Adequate for one night. - Close proximity to village. Utensils for one person only, but there were two of us.
- Quick (6/5): Pleasant - Bit run down.
- Kea (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (8/5): Much better than expected - great for our overnight stay. - Spacious room, working TV, fridge, comfy bed There wasn't a restaurant on site - however it looked like the petrol station next door did have a cafe or restaurant.
- Leanne (8/5): Very good - couch needs cleaning
- Gayle (6/5): Too close to the road and the rail line. - It was handy to the roadhouse to get dinner. The road and the train line were quite close so noise was a problem.
- Kelvin (8/5): Very good -
- Beverley (7/5): It was there when we needed it most!! - To be totally honest the only reason we stayed at the Merredin was simply because we could not get accommodation on our road journey and this was the first place that had vacancy... so in that respect it was very welcome. It is simply rough round the edges, could do with a little love, but as I say it was a port in a storm.
- Dave (1/5): Extremely over priced for this property. It should be $100 or under, not over $200 - Parking right outside door. The air con worked well. Everything was very old and worn out including the bed and pillows.
- Margaret (7/5): Good -
- Sharon (7/5): Good -
- Colin (7/5): Good -
- Mark (8/5): Comfortable - Good WiFi and kitchen
- Murray (8/5): Very good -
- Steven (6/5): This could be a really nice place with a little more attention to the cleanliness. - Great tv, complementary water and snacks. Large spacious room. Sheets were covered in residual washing powder therefore felt sandy and gritty. Reclining chair looks so dirty we were not game to use it and the floors were not the cleanest.
- Danny (9/5): Superb -
- Amber (5/5): Great motel other than the dirt and wifi - Bed was comfortable, gentleman at reception was super friendly, shower was powerful and . They gave you free soap, shampoo, crisps, water,.tea coffee, towels. You can park outside your door. Air-conditioning was excellent. Close to local amenities. It's very dirty. There's old dust everywhere, even on the light switches and there was a dead grasshopper on the floor. The walls were grubby. It's such a good little motel, just needs a good scrub.
The wifi existed but it didn't didn't stretch to the room I was in - that was disappointing, so I had to tether from from phone.
The lighting was pretty dim and you can't roll up the window shutter to let the light in.
- Geoff (8/5): Very good - Quality of stay was okay but far too expensive for standard provided.
- Natthaphol (8/5): Very good -
- Margaret (8/5): Good budget option, comfortable & clean - Good budget overnight option in a nice little town
- Del&terry (3/5): Never again . Would advice friends - Pillows stained and human hair on them. Toilet very stained and dust and cobwebs with spiders and bugs crawling up wall. Tiles around edge black with dirt.
Fridge hadnt been cleaned.
Microwave dirty.
Mismatched cutlery and crockery. Kettle very stained. Floors throughout not swept.
- Caryn (9/5): Superb -
- James (5/5): Passable -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - Great location, close to the town of Merredin Unfortunately, the power went out at about 5pm due to storms in the area, and didn't come back on till about .30am. Even though This was out of their control, I still enjoys my stay🌞🌞
- Graeme (7/5): Good -
- Sandra (9/5): Superb -
- Samantha (4/5): It would be nice if attention could be placed on the cleanliness - The location was suitable to our needs The bed linen was very dirty and old. Unacceptable!
- Amanda (5/5): Passable -
- Louise (8/5): Very good - Clean and tidy, great aircon Like all
- Joseph (2/5): Will never stay there again - Nothing. One of the worst places I have stayed at Nothing
- Gomezga (8/5): Very good -
- Barry (5/5): Disappointing at best - No meals provided at this venue which should be advised online and booking confirmation It was so noisy all night that my wife & I had very little sleep
- Andy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mark (7/5): Clean and comfortable highway motel - This is 2-3 star dated accommodation, so you don’t book a stay with high expectations. It delivered on clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. Free wifi was excellent, as was TV reception. Shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. Parking at door. Need car for any activity or meals out here. Being on a main, but not too heavily trafficked, interstate highway, you have to accept some overnight truck noise (difficult to avoid with accommodation options available in Merredin). Also, as with any motel of this age, the hot climate requires A/C usage that creates its own noise. Light sleepers beware.
- Steve (8/5): It was ok. - Location Quite noisy at night as right on highway.
- Natasha (5/5): Passable -
- Louise (5/5): Passable -
- Scott (7/5): Good -
- Susan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Faith (7/5): Good - There were complimentary snacks in the room. It was comfy.
Friendly staff.
The shower was good.
For a small place and needing somewhere to rest, it is satisfactory. Needed a shower curtain.
Floors could have been cleaned better.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Dianne (5/5): Passable -
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Fairfax (1/5): Bad - Nothing This was advertised as a Hotel - It was completely the opposite - a 1 star motel - almost looks as if it was abandoned . No such thing as office , outside in extremely poor condition ,inside not much better -Blinds half missing . Curtains held up by string . We helped other guests how to get into units . All will stay again . In reality in all my booking with booking .com over many years this would rank as the worst - A disgrace in the only kind words i could add
- Gaynor (2/5): Would not stay here again even if it was a last resort. - No food available. Nothing to like. No reception, phone number on door but couldn’t make contact. Fellow traveller showed us where to find key with our name on it. Poor kitchen supply of cutlery and crockery. Example only one cup. Dirt and fluff all around the edges and in the corners. Near a noisy road.
- Hannah (7/5): Good -
- Denise (9/5): Great location - location nothing really
- Sue (1/5): Bad -
- Denis (6/5): Ok for the purpose apart from a few minor items - No shower curtain water went everywhere plus no floor Mat door was slippery when wet.
Only one coffee mug.
- Graham (8/5): Very good - Well located, clean, reasonably priced. All ok
- Carolyn (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nat (7/5): Good -
- Marcus (5/5): Passable - Air con unit was so noisy. Main road front of building and train line at rear. So busy and noisy. Bed duvet had stains on it. Room needs refurbishment. Very old.
- Bruce (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (5/5): No hurry to go back. - Not particularly clean.needed to scrub 1 mug with scourer to clean it. Difficulty opening outside blind on window and needed to reset slats on vertical blinds to close it properly..
- Len (6/5): Did the job for one night. - The poorest in our travels. nothing really to rate. Truck noise was close to unbearable. a very old run down property.
- Gough (1/5): Bad - Very dirty beding dirty old food in fridge and room very dirty bedside lamps didn't work very disappointing stay
- Helen (4/5): Bed clean, shower good but building needs maintenance - No cups, no one on reception at 4.30. No working light in toilet. Metal shutters would not roll up
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bruce (8/5): Very good -
- Bruce (5/5): Passable -
- Ali (8/5): Very good -
- Leesa (7/5): ok - ok only ok
- Alisa (10/5): Great value , clean rooms - Rooms were clean ! Staff were friendly and the crackers at the counter were amazing ! Value was great also. Some tv channels weren’t there but the Foxtel gave us a large variety. The motel was fully booked so the workers were everywhere and quite loud , but they seemed to go into their rooms quite early
- Trish (3/5): We enjoyed our stay, all facilities worked ok but price too high for such low standard accommodation - The bed was comfortable and the WiFi worked well The freezer in the fridge was completely frozen over. The floor was not clean, especially behind the fridge which we discovered when we pulled it out to unplug it. There were cobwebs in the toilet. The taps in the shower and basin dripped - both need new washers. The cornice and ceiling looked in danger of falling in. The place in general did not look cared for. The cost of the room was not commensurate with the poor standard, i.e. it should have been a lot cheaper. Loud road noise due to proximity to the main road.
- Rudy (5/5): Passable -
- Trisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bill (7/5): Good -
- Ian (2/5): Very poor -
- Kevin (2/5): Stayed in numerous motels and this the worst by far. Cleaning non existent - nothing Dirty inside and out and to expensive
- Robin (4/5): Disappointing -
