• Lisa (10/5): - If you're searching for an authentic (but still very comfy) fijian homestay, Sarah and Sam are the greatest hosts you could hope for. They were always looking after me, driving me around the island and helping with activities. You become part of the family and enjoy their friendliness around Mary's fantastic cooked diners. The room was also much better than I had anticipated with ensuite bathroom, fan and AC. Taveuni was the showstopper of my trip and Aeroview made it even more special. Thank you again to Sarah and Sam. Vinaka! I'll bring my family along with me next time! I should have stayed longer.
• Simeon (10/5): Exceptional Stay in Beautiful Taveuni - During our nearly week-long stay, we felt completely comfortable in Sarah and Sam’s home. The host family is very warm and caring, and the house—with its garden and cozy covered outdoor area—has everything you need to feel at ease and at home. Our room was clean and spacious, with intact mosquito screens on the large windows, a brand-new air conditioner, and a private, clean bathroom with hot water, towels, etc. The included breakfast was very delicious. In addition, coffee, tea, and water are available around the clock. For an extra charge, you can enjoy tasty, freshly prepared dinners by Mary, and there’s plenty of it. The hosts, Sarah and Sam, were very helpful and always up for a bit of fun. From picking us up at the airport to letting us use the washing machine and helping us organize excursions, they supported us wonderfully. Thank you so much for the wonderful time we had with you!

• Jerica (10/5): Great homestay on Taveuni - Sam and Sarah were wonderful hosts! They made sure we were comfortable and helped ensure we would have a great experience. The breakfasts were very good and were very large portions as well. The location was very close to the airport and walking distance to the store and to the beach.

• Christopher (10/5): An unforgettable stay in a warmly welcoming family home - Our four night stay with Sam and Sarah was the major highlight of our visit to Fiji. They welcomed us into their family with real warmth and fed us extremely well both at breakfast and dinner in the evening. Sarah even insisted upon providing us with a packed lunch. They could not have been more helpful, even putting our clothes through their washing machine and hanging them up for us to dry. We and our fellow guests immediately felt completely at home. Sam is a retired schoolmaster and currently a taxi driver, while Sarah works at a local Resort. Sam was always cheerful and cracking jokes and, after taking us us to visit the highlight spots of Taveuni, would wait patiently to bring us back home again. He also met us off the ferry from Natuvu and took us to the small adjacent airport upon departure. One day their daughter had left her lunch box behind, so we had the pleasure of touring her school, a very happy place. We were very sad to leave and would love to return on a future occasion. We would thoroughly recommend AerowView Home Retreat to anyone who plans to visit Fiji. The communal toilet and shower facilities were a minor inconvenience but Sam plans to add en suite facilities to the guest bedrooms in the near future.
• Bonnie (10/5): A true Fijian expetience awaits you at Sarah’s and Sam’s lovely Fijian home - Lovely friendly hostesses with Sarah and team preparing amazing meals (even offering to include our laundry with theirs) and Sam very helpful accomodating our driving needs along with his interesting conversations! The house itself was very comfy with a great outside seating area looking out to the ocean! Nothing

• Georgia (10/5): We had a lovely 9 day stay with Sam, Sarah and their family! It was so special to have the opportunity to learn about Fi - The house looks exactly as it does in the photos! Very homey nice rooms, very clean and aircon/fans if you need. We brought snorkel gear and easily found places to snorkel only 5-10mins away. We liked the vibe of the house and the kind of travellers it attracted. We were sad to leave
• Alexander (10/5): What an absolutely delightful family, and a wonderful stay on Taveuni Island - I really couldn't praise this place enough, and highly recommend it for a visit to Taveuni Island. The absolute standout is the wonderful Sam, Sarah and their family, so welcoming and so full of life. I felt immediately relaxed putting my time on the island in their hands, not only for accommodation, but also for absolutely delicious food and a fantastic tour of the island by Sam's son, both the west and the east coast. Being so close to the airport is a bonus to be able to arrive and leave with ease, but also to be able to watch the planes take off and land which was a treat. There are also two good mini-markets a short walk away, and I highly recommend a sundowner, coffee, meal or just a great chillout place at The Dive Cafe Bar and Grill a short walk away too. Highly recommended, and thank you for making me feel so at home Sam, Sarah, son and family :D
• Amanda (10/5): - Sam and Sarah welcomed me into their family in the warmest way possible. I was treated like one of the family; they led me wherever I wanted to go. The food was delicious, and in the evenings, there were often visitors to spend pleasant moments with.
• Phoebe (10/5): highly recommended. - Sarah and family had been extremely helpful and accommodating. They helped booking all activities and stepped in to resolve issues if any difficulties. The location was great and food was fantastic. Sarah's husband Sam has provided transport for us to attend our activities and trips to the bank and ATM machine with very reasonable fee. They have incredible local knowledge and tried everything to help. Sam picked us from the airport and saw us off at the airport. This was a very comfortable stay making us feel ease and home like. We had a wonderful time on the island, thanks very much for Sarah's family.

• Karin (10/5): Homestay like it should be😄🤩 - The stay with Sarah & Sam and the whole family was simply indescribably beautiful. I felt like a member of the family from the very first second. The rooms were very clean and had everything you need. The food cooked by Mery, if desired at extra cost, but the quality and flavour better than any Fijian gourmet restaurant. The tours I went on with Sam were unique. Lots of stories and wisdom that made me laugh, along with the cultural knowledge of the country and its people. I will miss you. • Guest (10/5): Meet your new Fijian family. - It was a wonderful experience to stay with Sarah and her family. The house is clean and cared for. There is nothing you could ask for that this family would not do for you. Sinners were available and the cook who came every day is a magician. Her food is outstanding and plentiful. Even tours and rides were available. If you want to experience local culture in a wonderful environment, this is your place. The only thing that could be better is the shared bathroom and Sarah is in the process of doing that! Still, it was truly never a problem.

• Emily (10/5): I’d give it 100 stars if I could - I cannot express how much my cousin and I loved our stay with Sarah. She was a wonderful host - I felt like I was staying at my favorite Aunt’s house for a week. She was joking around with us within minutes of our arrival like we were old friends. Anything we wanted, she made happen. We wanted to rent a car and her friend Samir had one delivered to her house in half an hour. We needed a guide for a hike and she called someone up and had him scheduled to meet us the next day in mere minutes. If you want something on Taveuni, Sarah knows how to make it happen. Granted, Taveuni is a small island, but I was still impressed with how well-known Sarah is within the community. Locals asked where we were staying and we merely needed to respond “at Sarah’s” to receive a knowing nod. I was concerned that staying close to the airport would mean a lot of plane noise but I didn’t fully grasp just how small the Taveuni airport was until I saw it. (There is no security.) Only a few small planes arrive/depart each day. The first is after 8am and the last is before dark. Breakfast was included with our stay and Sarah was sure to never let my cousin, who would work out in the yard at sunrise, go hungry. (She made him 6+ eggs for breakfast every morning!) We also ate Sarah’s home-cooked dinners four of the six nights we stayed with her and they were all delicious. She made PLENTY of food, even for my cousin who devoured a whole chicken by himself. I found myself rolling into bed each evening after dining at sarah’s table, full of ceviche, chicken, lamb, beef, fish, soup, cassava, rice, salad, mashed potatoes, roti, eggplant, bread, etc etc. And Sarah’s listing doesn’t say so, but each bedroom DOES have air conditioning!! We slept so well every night and my bed was super comfy. As is the case on every tropical island I’ve ever been to, there are roosters, but they barely bothered me even tho I am a light sleeper. (Maybe bring earplugs just in case. Nothing!

• Aimee (10/5): Wonderful! - We loved our stay with Sarah and Sam, their home cooking was the best food we had in Fiji - it was a feast every night. This is not a luxury resort by any means and nor should it be, but it was perfectly clean and very comfortable and has a beautiful snorkelling spot nearby. Sam also took us to do the amazing Lavena coastal walk. Taveuni is a beautiful island and we had a wonderful stay at Aeroview.

Sarah and Sam have really good tips on how to visit the island and will adapt to your way of traveling:) The food is absolutely great, and I garanty, you won't leave the table hungry ;) The room was clean and tidy, with everything you need, even a newly added AC ! • Bonnie (10/5): Great Place to Stay - After our four day stay, we were very sad to leave this lovely home with an even more lovely host and hostess. Sam and Sarah made us feel at home and comfortable from the start. We had such a beautiful stay in Taveuni. The grounds of Aero View were lined with so many tropical blossoming flowers to enjoy. The food rivaled any restaurant in the area, and the company was delightful. We would definitely come back for another stay!

• Samuel (10/5): Awesome - This spot is a strategically located homestay near the islands airport, less then 5 mins walk, as well as a good starter point for island activities; walking or driving. A welcoming tourist friendly area that was hospitable, well priced, and had a great attitude all around. They have Internet/wifi.

• Oliv_n (9/5): Superb - If you're looking for an authentic Fijian experience, this is the place to be. Sarah, Sam and the rest of the family were absolutely adorable and welcomed us with open arms from the moment we landed in Taveuni. It's cosy and comfortable. Keep in mind that it's a local Fijian home and not a hotel. Full breakfast is freshly prepared in the morning. It's also possible to have dinner with the family for FJD 40 - the best food we had in Fiji, a delicious feast. Sam offers tours around the island to main attractions as well in case you don't have a rental car.

• Steven (10/5): My stay at Aeroview will be something I remember for the rest of my life. - Sam and Sarah have the ability to make people feel welcomed, and part of the family. Home cooked meals, freshly picked fruit, telling stories, the feeling of being home - these are things that can't be found at luxury resorts. During our stay, my partner and I did not have to worry about transportation, or going hungry; everything we needed was there. Sam would drive us around Taveuni, teaching us about Fijian culture, showing us different parts of the island, and showing off his witty sense of humor. Sarah made sure all of our needs were taken care of, offering us delicious food, teaching us things like how to pick fruit, and showing us how to cook authentic Fijian meals. Together, they work harmoniously to really make Aeroview what it is - a well-run, welcoming home. Sam, Sarah, and their family, showed us true Fijian hospitality, and created one of my favorite travel experiences.

We enjoyed the homestay aspect and were made to feel like one of the family. Rooms and beds were really comfy, the breakfast every morning was delicious. We also enjoyed some great dinners with everyone. The location of AeroView is convenient for visiting both sides of Taveuni and they gave us excellent recommendations for activities on the island. Super comfortable bed, space to ourselves if we wanted it and fantastic company also. Breakfast was wonderful. Really can’t say enough as to the value in so many ways of staying here. Sarah cooked us dinner one night also and it was one of the best meals we have had in Fiji and very generous of course. If you need transport Sam was a great driver and we loved being shown around by him. Just fabulous!!!
