- Edna (8/5): Overall, it was a nice place to stay during our short trip in Japan. I’d probably stay here again in the future. - It was close to the station and very clean. Staff were quick to respond to our questions. The fridge was a little confusing since the top was locked. Would be nice to have labels on the bottom two bins to help distinguish between freezer and refrigerator. The internet cut out about 10-15 minutes prior to checkout. Would have been nice to have it until the end of our stay to check transit routes.

- Soonja (10/5): It was excellent, really! - I honestly liked everything about the unit. It was clean, safe, quiet at night, close to a JR station AND a metro station, 2 convenience stores nearby. Fully equipped kitchenette, bath tub, hot water, great water pressure (shower). It's not that I didn't like it, but having a TV (monitor) would've made the unit perfect.

Die Wohnung an sich war sehr gut und auch mit dem Check-In hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert. Leider war das Zimmer bei unserer Ankunft nicht sauber. Es lagen überall Haare und die Tücher haben auch nicht frisch gerochen.

- Grace (8/5): Roomy, clean apartment in a convenient location. - The location was great for a short walk to the green train line and convenient with shops nearby. Also the place was quite spacious for Japan standards. It was very clean with basic needs. The kitchen could have been more stocked with larger bowls, with some tea towels to be able to dry and wiping cloths to clean mess.

- Janice (6/5): Good room, but still some room for improvement - The location and the responsiveness of the host were much appreciated. It's not a matter of like, but suggestions for improvement. 1. More photos of the building or doorway to help locate it (see below); 2. More bedding as not all individuals wish to share one bed; 3. More paper towels or material with which to clean spills (no one wants to leave a mess); 4. Replace vacuum as it does not effectively clean the floors; 5. Offer a toaster-oven.
- Juliana (9/5): Ótimo espaço e localização - Gostei muito da localização. Tem 2 estações de trem perto. Vários combinis, tem farmácia, restaurantes, obentoya. Quem quiser mandar mala por takyubin..a seveneleven da estação faz esse serviço. 2 adultos e 2 crianças de 9 e 14 anos deu tranquilamente o espaço. Lavamos roupa e seca rapidinho no varal do ofuro e estendemos tbm no quarto em frente ao ar condicionado. Qualquer duvida q tinhamos, ao mandar msg respondiam bem rapido. Ficamos 8noites e a família toda adorou! O ralo da lavanderia cheirava um pouco esgoto, mas ao escorrer água ela passava. Qndo lavamos roupa ela voltava o cheiro mas logo depois passava. Não tem televisão.

- Jessica Teo (6/5): 这个情况对于长时间入住来说相当不方便，也影响了整体住宿体验，毕竟平时很少会遇到需要如此严格控制用电的住宿环境。撇开电力方面的问题，其余整体表现尚可；如果对用电需求不高，影响可能会相对小一些。 - 我们在这里入住了 7天8夜。整体来说，公寓位置还算方便，周边有不少美食和商场，步行约 6分钟即可到达 JR 地铁站。房间整体算是干净，基本设施齐全，日常居住方面没有太大问题。 不过入住初期的体验并不理想。刚开始的一两天曾发生过短暂的停电（虽然只有几秒），原以为只是偶发情况，但在之后的第三、四天，只要用电量稍微大一些（例如同时开启两台冷气并烧水），就会出现跳电的情况。后来尝试在烧水时关闭冷气，才发现这样才能避免再次停电。

- Maria Katreena (8/5): Overall it was a great stay! Would definitely recommend. Just mind that the location is a little uphill and you need to - Place is 300m away from Otsuka station. There were also izakayas and convenience store nearby. We liked that there’s a washing machine with laundry detergent provided for and a heater of some sort in the shower that helped dry our clothes. The neighborhood is quiet and our family liked winding down the streets after a full day exploring downtown. The staff were also extremely helpful and responsed timely in all my inquiries. They provide clear instructions on checkin-in/out and getting to the place. Not a big deal but for 3 adults it was already a bit cramped.

- Hadi (7/5): - The location is very good, with easy access to the MRT station and a nearby shopping mall, which was very convenient during our stay. We experienced an issue during check-in. When we arrived, the key was not available in the locker as instructed. We had to spend quite some time communicating with the host to locate it. Eventually, we decided to go to the apartment on the 3rd floor, and when we were about to exit the elevator, we met someone who handed us the key. I am not sure who this person was, and the situation felt a bit unusual, especially since the key was not in the locker as expected. Regarding cleanliness, it seems the cleaning service was not thorough. There was still a noticeable amount of dust on the floor and carpet, so we had to clean the room again ourselves. Aside from these issues, everything else was fine, and the location remains the main advantage of this place.
- WIRYANI WINATA (10/5): Good apartment with great facilities and access - Located about 10 minutes from train station. Walk up there a bit hilly. There are convenience store and supermarket closed to the apartment. The neighborhood is nice, not too crowded like the popular area. I got issued when I wanted to check-in with the tablet provided, but when I contacted the landlord, they said it's okay, so all good. I booked for 3 persons, which is still okay (2 persons in bed, one person in floor). They have facilities like washing machine, microwave, cooking utensils. The clothes can be dried in the bathroom, just need to set the drier function. Would be better if the refrigerator can be used

Many nearby shops for food and all the necessities, some late night eateries, 5mins walk to Otuska Station, 7mins walk to Shin-Otsuka Station, super easy to get around. Checking in, getting the key to the apartment is also straight forward. Place is good for family of 4max. Place is fitted with everthing you need. I strongly recommend this apartment, if you're looking to stay away from the busy cities like shibuya or shinjuku. The Otsuka JR station brings you to all the popular places. Nothing much, except if they could provide more pillows, that'll be great. Also, the apartment could get a bit more cleaning, as it can be dusty. M.Otherwise, near to perfect.

- Nurul hafizah (10/5): Absolutely the best stay in Tokyo. - Spacious unit. There is a dedicated washer and dryer room available. The bathroom has strong water pressure, and there are plenty of hangers for clothes. The room is clean, and all necessary kitchen equipment is provided for simple morning cooking. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay. I will book again on my next visit to Tokyo. Perhaps the host could consider providing an ironing cloth for added convenience.

- Che Yuan (10/5): 很舒服的短租套房 - 交通位置非常便利，步行 10 分鐘內可到東京地鐵丸之內線 (新大塚站)，步行約5分鐘即可抵達JR山手線 (大塚站)。附近有超商及多家餐廳，生活機能良好。 建築為新落成，整體風格現代，設備齊全。房內整潔度大致良好，但在細節上仍有進步空間（部分區域可見灰塵）。 整體而言，是適合短期住宿的優質選擇。若下次再訪東京，會考慮再次入住。 —— The location is very convenient. It’s less than a 10-minute walk to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (Shin-Otsuka Station) and about a 5-minute walk to the JR Yamanote Line (Otsuka Station). There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making daily life very convenient. The building was newly constructed in 2023, and it has a modern feel with all the necessary amenities. The room was generally clean, though attention to detail could be improved, as there were some areas with visible dust. Overall, it’s a good option for short stays. I would consider staying here again the next time I visit Tokyo. —— 立地がとても便利で、東京メトロ丸ノ内線「新大塚駅」まで徒歩10分以内、JR山手線「大塚駅」までは徒歩約5分です。周辺にはコンビニや飲食店も多く、生活しやすい環境です。 建物は2023年に新築されたもので、全体的にモダンな雰囲気があり、設備も一通り揃っています。室内は概ね清潔でしたが、細かな部分にほこりが見られる箇所もあり、もう少し改善の余地があると感じました。 総合的には短期滞在に適した良い物件です。次に東京を訪れる際にも、また利用したいと思います。 鄰近店家眾多，導致油煙味容易飄進屋內。 —— Oil fumes can sometimes drift into the room. —— 周辺に飲食店が多いため、調理のにおいや油煙が室内に入りやすいことがあります。

- Jun (10/5): 超出预期值的一家高性价比民宿。 - 地理位置很好，房间非常大，有电梯，出门就是商业街，什么都有，走路几分钟就到JR大冢站，站内有药店,loft,咖啡店，超市，Uniqlo.另外一头是丸内线，.客服有礼貌，回复及时。总之CP值很好高。下次还会入住这里。

- Elisabete (7/5): Ótima localização - O processo de check-in no apartamento foi bastante simples, já que o locatário havia enviado previamente um material completo com instruções detalhadas, incluindo mapa de acesso e orientações para o check-in. No entanto, o tablet destinado ao check-in não funcionou, então precisei entrar em contato com o locatário por mensagem. A limpeza do apartamento deixou a desejar, com bastante poeira em diversos locais e objetos, além de tapete e almofadas visivelmente sujos. As toalhas e roupas de cama estavam em condições aceitáveis, e o apartamento contava com todos os utensílios conforme descrito no site. O aspirador de pó disponível era pouco eficiente, praticamente não aspirava nada, mas a máquina de lavar funcionava muito bem, e o chuveiro tinha uma função de secagem de roupas que foi bastante útil. A localização é excelente, próxima à estação de Otsuka, com muitos restaurantes, lojas e conveniências por perto. Um ponto negativo foi o fato de haver apenas uma chave disponível, o que é um pouco inconveniente para quatro pessoas. Limpeza do apartamento deixou a desejar e o fato de ter apenas 1 chave para 4 pessoas.
- Iuliia (8/5): Хорошее песто в приятном районе - Отличный тихий район, близко к 2 станциям. Вокруг много магазинов и кафе Почему-то была старая губка для мытья посуды, пришлось купить новую. В первый день налила в чашку воду из бутылки (!), она оказалась горькой после питья из чашки (из бутылки ок) — что говорит о том, что чашка была грязной. В апартаментах очень много правил, но стоило бы и самим следить за некоторыми нюансами лучше. Раковина в ванной могла бы быть чище.
- AKI (10/5): かなりお勧めです！ - ダイニングテーブルが4人用のじゅうぶんな大きさなので、買ってきたものを部屋でゆっくり食べれました。 浴槽がありお風呂に入れて寒い日や雨の日も身体が温まり快適でした。 トイレ、お風呂、洗面台がそれぞれ独立している為使いやすかったです。 お風呂に浴室乾燥機があるので、朝には洗濯ものがしっかり乾いています。コインランドリーへ乾燥機をまわしに行かなくて良くかなりらくでした。 洗濯と乾燥がお部屋の中で完了するのはかなり助かります。 エレベーターがあるので5階のお部屋でも全く問題ありませんでした。 大塚駅から徒歩5分かからない好立地、歩いてすぐにスーパー、コンビニがあり、ドラッグストア、飲食店全てそろっています。 総合的に見て東京ではかなり条件が良い、快適な、素晴らしい宿泊施設でした。メッセージのやり取りもスムーズでした。さっそく次の予約も入れました。お世話になりました。ありがとうございました。 ハンガーはありましたが、洗濯バサミがあれば尚良いと思いました。(靴下などを干すときにハンガーでは落ちてしまう為) 冷蔵庫は下二段(冷凍庫と冷蔵庫)を使えるため、私たちは問題ありませんでした。深さがある引き出しタイプなので2リットルペットボトルも寝かせて入ります。じゅうぶんなスペースです。1番上は鍵がかかっていて使用できないのは事前に把握していましたが、冷蔵庫が3ドアタイプで大きめなので、下2段が使えるから不便さはかんじませんでした。

- Giamiro (9/5): Nice and spacious stay for two - Spacious stay for two for Tokyo standards. Also enough facilities to your disposal for a travelstay for a few days. Adding to that it's located in a bit of a calmer area of Tokyo but still close to Ikebukuro. This could be seen as a negative by some but for us it was seen as nice. Plus enough arco to keep the place nice and cool, and there is an elevator so no need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Elevator had a weird smell.

- TSUI WEN (10/5): - 1.有問題直接寫mail問，主旨寫大塚+房號，管理人員回覆很快，第一個晚上我找不到棉被，溝通後確定沒有，結果第二天就送到房間門口了。 2.離JR大塚南口很近，車站有百貨公司，民宿附近有超市開到晚上11點和24小時餐廳，大塚北口有很多吃的，還有堂吉訶德。 3. 13：00-16：00可以提前寄放行李（須要提前e-mail通知）。 4. 房間裡面有冰箱（3門只能用2門），廚房碗盤餐具杯子、烹飪器具都有，爐火用瓦斯爐，備品充足，洗衣服附有洗衣精，浴室有乾躁機可以吊掛烘乾衣服，房間內也有晾衣桿可以室內晾衣。 1.吸塵器吸力很弱，地板的頭髮都要用撿的 2.幫廚房水槽換濾網時，裡面都發黴，有夠噁心，請房務在清掃時能留意 3.沒有瀝乾碗盤的籃子 3.網路不是很穩定

- Rémi (10/5): Je recommande !!! - La localisation était vraiment super, avec tous les commerces et restaurants à proximité ainsi que le métro. L'appartement était propre et confortable ! Point positif également pour les consignes concernant le check in/check out, ainsi que les règles de l'établissement qui sont on ne peut plus claire !! Manque un étendoir à linge, et la disponibilité d'utiliser le frigo aurait été appréciable mais ne nous a pas réellement dérangé !

- p (7/5): Kleine studio voor gezin met goede ligging - Het studioappartement ligt in een vrij rustig woonwijken. OV, restaurants en winkels op korte loopafstand. Contact met receptie/verhuurder lastig. Geen Engels. Alle instructies/handleidingen van apparaten digitaal.

- Emily (10/5): Great second stay - This was our second time staying here and again a really great stay. We would come back. Great apartment for families with kids and perfect location - not too many tourist. Very nice apartment and clean. It was good for both long term and storm term stay.
- Emily (10/5): Perfect apartment for our family. - We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 4 nights and will return for 2 more after our visit to Kyoto. The apartment was very clean and a comfortable space for two adults and one child. It had everything we needed and the layout is smartly designed. Easy check-in and detailed information on Welcome Guide. Perfect location - very close walk to the station and we loved the area. Highly recommend staying here! Everything was really great - no complaints!

- Shirley (10/5): Will definitely be booking here again the next time I visit Japan and will be recommending to others - [ ] 15-20 min walk to sunshine city + main part of ikebukuro obsessed since it’s where lots of our reservation are at, [ ] ~5 min walk to jr Yamanote line station (with a loft on top), [ ] <5 walk to nearby convenience store + amazing pharmacy, [ ] Was worried about the stairs from a previous review, but there’s a new elevator in the building that is so convenient!! No need to worry about the stairs, [ ] has three-prong outlets, perfect for my USA laptop chargers, + with our similar voltage, had no worries about the breaker going off, [ ] Kitchen + washing machine was lovely, [ ] The staff were AMAZING!! Super nice and responsive. They respond so fast, just a few minutes or instantly after asking my questions, [ ] Provide a thorough and well-detailed guide on how to get into the building and use their appliance. Love love everything, The trash was a bit confusing at the beginning, but I was just overthinking it. And I wish I could use the refrigerator, but I totally understand why it was not available.

Very clean and customer service was very friendly If you have big heavy suitcases it IS up hill from Otsuka station, so it can be a little bit of a trek, other then that really no problems

Near to the JR station, Sheijo Ishii, Lawson, Lawson 100, FamiMa, drugstore/pharmacy. Near to taxi stand if you need to take one. Kitchen and home appliance are top notch. For Moslem guest, there’s ZamZam mart, right beside the Unito. We need english tutorial for using the washing machine. Bed is soft, not too comfortable for spine and tailbone. But still, we slept like baby. :)
- Telan (10/5): Perfect for families and small groups - 4 mins walk from JR Otsuka station - very convenient Located in a safe & quiet neighborhood away from crowdiness & train noise yet restaurants, convenient stores & shopping mall (there's even a small Donki & bookstore that opens 24 hrs!) are just steps away Apartment is relatively clean & spacious with most amenity provided (bring your own toothbrush & toothpaste), love the home-like vibe Lots of shelf space to place our belongings and purchases The dining table & standard-size fridge allowed our family of 4 to enjoy breakfast and late night snacks at ease. Had we stayed in a hotel we would have to limit our purchase of dessert, fruit & bento boxes from so many nice stores out there Staff responded to our questions promptly Small glitch - ipad showed error upon checking in & out, had to message staff to complete the procedure Minor flaw - dead bug spotted beneath bathroom sink cabinet, small blood stain on one of the foldable mattreses; otherwise beddings, towels and general areas are very clean
