• Laurel (5/5): The location is super convenient, but the apartment is cramped and the facilities minimal. - Self catering. Location near to train stations is very convenient The images provided prior to booking were misleading - no balcony to the room, and it was smaller than the images suggest. The stairs to the apartment are steep and were dirty, and at the bottom is an extra concrete lip - not quite a step - which is treacherous. The apartment was clean, but tiny kitchen had a table and 2 chairs, but as the frig and microwave sit ON the table, there was only room for one person to actually use it. There was nowhere to hang or store clothes - there was a cupboard with hangers, but a shelf inside storing toilet paper, etc made it impossible to hang anything in it. Mattresses were barely comfortable.

• Cristina Massari (9/5): - Great location, right next Shinjuku's main attractions. The apartment is bigger than the usual hotel rooms in Tokyo, that's a total plus. The washing machine and the terrace were also great. The bathroom is a little old.
• Clinton (10/5): Cheap, comfortable place to stay on the Yamanote in west Tokyo - A good value. I was very comfortable here. Was it the cleanest place in Japan? No. But it's such a good price that you do get your money's worth. It's clean enough and big enough. I like the deep Japanese tub. The beds were also very comfortable. Japanese beds tend to be on the stiff side but these were a nice medium. The shin okubo area is also a lively place to stay and the apartment is easy to find and close to the station. I didn't like the hot water system. I have never had to activate a separate water heater in Japan (or anywhere) before. I followed the instructions but if you have multiple family members taking a bath, be careful. The hot water ran out in the middle of filling the water and i had to get out, restart the water heater from the panel outside the bathroom, and wait for it to heat up again before I could continue filling the bathtub.

Se hizo limpieza en apenas 5 minutos, dejando un fuerte olor a los productos de limpieza. Antiguo, incómodo. No lo recomendaría para tres, como mucho para dos personas ya que no hay prácticamente espacio donde dejar las cosas. Pequeño, como la mayoría de apartamentos en Tokio. Segunda planta sin ascensor

• Stefan (9/5): - Very clean comfortable rooms - checkin was super easy, the staff was super friendly and always replied very fast! The apartment is located right next to shin okubo and thus connected to the Yamanote line which made everything super accesible! The walls are super thin and our neighbours were super loud - we heard them every morning and every night - but this is nothing the accomodation is reaponsible of

Esta bastante cerca de una estación y el barrio es bastante tranquilo y seguro. Quizás es un poco pequeño, para dos personas estaría muy bien, nosotros nos acomodamos relativamente bien, porque la tercera persona era una adolescente.

Convenience stores just around the corner. Quiet and safe street. Air con was handy and helped cool down the place. There was not much room (might have been helpful to have less around the desk area - put chairs in the kitchen, put away unnecessary items like foot massager etc) to place down bags - but a minor inconvenience for a generally great and convenient stay!

• Nadezhda (9/5): - Расположение - супер! Всего 10-15 минут от зеленой/желтой ветки. Потеряться сложно (хозяин отправляет пдф с гайдом, как дойти + есть большая табличка с названием рядом с объектом). В номере было всё, что можно (даже прокладки!!!). Кровати удобные, сами аппартменты очень чистые. При заезде надо заполнить форму. На подоконнике стояли цветы (+ к уюту :) 1) На кухне подтекал кран. Пару раз мы долго его закрывали, чтобы перестал капать. 2) Кондиционер. Инструкция была для Toshiba, а у нас была другая фирма. В итоге разобрались :)
• Huber (6/5): Ich kann es weiterempfehlen. Sauber, sehr zentral an der U-Bahn. - Zentral an der U-Bahn gelegen. Uns hat besonders gut gefallen, da das Personal auch um 1:30 Uhr morgens noch erreichbar war. Wichtig ist zu betonen, dass es keine Rezeption gibt, sondern alles online geregelt wird. Internet oder Telefon ist also zwingend notwendig. Die Schlüssel wurden in einem Schloss an die Tür gehängt. Das wusste man erst gar nicht. Erst nach dem wir nachgefragt haben, wie wir in das Zimmer kommen. Zudem war die Zimmer Beschreibung z.B.: zweiter Stock zweites Zimmer auch falsch. Denn uns wurde die Zimmernummer 308 gegeben.

The host was very responsive any questions we had and helpful to us. They kindly resolved a couple of minor needs very quickly. No, I will pack a lighter suitcase on my next visit, to make it up the short flight of stairs easier. 😄

Close to 2 railway stations giving easy access to all of Tokyo. The owners couldn't do enough to respond to requests or any suggestions for improvement. No real complaints. The apartment was snug, but hey, this is Japan. Don't bring 2 big suitcases

Great shops and restaurants nearby within Korea town. The owner went over and above to help us obtain our luggage which was delayed by the airline. Would definitely stay here again!! Nothing

• Georgios Christos (10/5): Great place if you're in Tokyo to explore! - This place is great! Located in a quiet street in an otherwise busy area, next to two different stations, with a plethora of bars, restaurants and shops within 5 minutes of walking and with excellent facilities, all it does it does well. Comfy beds, good internet, crisp ac, good water pressure and temperature and fully stocked in toiletries and utensils. If you're looking for a place to rest while others ie spending your days out in town, this is the place to be. Having a couple of reading lights besides the beds would be great, as well as a folding table with chairs where the desk is to be able to grab a quick bite, but that's about it!

• Luis Alberto (4/5): Una experiencia agridulce - La ubicación, a muy pocos minutos de la estación Shin-Okubo El apartamento es bastante más pequeño de lo que puede parecer en las fotos. El anfitrión siempre se comunicaba en Japonés y escribía intercalando emoticonos, lo que daba la impresión de estar hablando con un adolescente. Al entrar, el apartamento olía muy mal, como a tabaco y tuvimos que gastar casi un bote de ambientador. Encontramos trampas para cucarachas en un mueble donde también había comida. En la habitación había un osito de peluche ahorcado del cable de encendido de la lámpara, lo que nos pareció de muy mal gusto. El apartamento tiene un fuego para cocinar pero ningún tipo de utensilio, cacerola, etc para poder hacer comida. Solo hay cubiertos de plástico. Tiene lavadora pero no hay espacio para secar ropa. Las sábanas tenían manchas y tuvimos que usarlas durante 15 días porque no podíamos lavarlas ni secarlas y tampoco había más juegos por el apartamento. Sí había bastantes toallas. Te piden que recicles pero no te indican cómo ni cuando sacar la basura a la calle para que se la lleven. Es un alojamiento para pasar dos noches como mucho. Nosotros estuvimos 15, fue desesperante.

• Luis Maria (7/5): Pequeño apartamento muy bien situado. - Un pequeño apartamento muy bien situado a 5 minutos del metro y en una zona llena de restaurantes y supermercados. Dispone de aire acondicionado en la habitación y en la sala de estar. Tiene una terracita que está muy bien. No entendimos muy bien como funcionaba el agua caliente de la ducha, se nos quitaba mientras estábamos duchándonos y teníamos que cerrar la llave y cambiar al agua de grifo para saliese otra vez caliente y entonces cambiar al agua de ducha otra vez

• Mariana (2/5): Strong smell of dampness throughout the property. - The only positive aspect is the convenient location near the train, but unfortunately, that does not make up for the other issues. The strong smell of dampness throughout the property was extremely unpleasant and made the stay very uncomfortable. The odor lingered on my clothes and hair, and it was difficult to ignore. There was no bidet, and the microwave did not work. I stayed for 7 days and was disappointed with the overall experience. The only positive aspect is the convenient location near the train, but unfortunately, that does not make up for the other issues.
• Patty (10/5): Comfortable, clean, convenient and quiet. - I travelled with a friend and found this accommodation very easy to find, close to 2 train stations which made it very convenient, clean, quiet even though it’s not far from a busy road, close to everything you may need -restaurants, family mart, 7-eleven, transport and great izakas! The space is very tight (but that’s everywhere in Tokyo!) and hard to hang your clothes to dry once washed.
• Breanna (7/5): Compact, clean and functional - Great location near the train station. You do have to walk down an alleyway to access the apartment, but we felt very safe doing so. There were some great food options and a convenience store nearby too. The bathroom was compact but clean and functional. Very small bedroom. It had a desk with an office chair and a stool, and having two chairs took up lots of space. There wasn’t a convenient place to put our suitcases - we had one under the desk and the other one in the kitchen, but it worked fine as we only stayed one night.
• Sergio (10/5): Close to everything and in a quiet street - It is a great place to stay. It couldn’t be better if you want to be near one of the nicest areas in Tokyo. The bed is confortabke, the shower is very good, it is silent to sleep and there’s even a terrace to drink a wine or have breakfast The size is always a problem in Japan, but the cost benefit is the best

• Eirini (9/5): A nice place close to everything you need - The property is situated right next to Okubo and Shin-Okubo stations which makes it ideal to move around Tokyo. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around and you can also walk to Kabukicho for a night out. The property itself has all the amenities you need for a short vacation and is very clean. • Dunmin (10/5): A convenient comfortable, and pleasure trip - I like the local room style ,it really makes me feels like I‘m really living in a local house instead of a hotel .Very convenient location. Also, the room is much more bigger than I thought. very sufficient with the daily stuff we need. Not a big problem, but it takes time to figure out how to use the light. As strongly recommend to add some comments about how to use it.

• Dennis (9/5): Great money for value - The location was amazing, very close to the busy areas, but quiet enough to get a good night rest. The place was clean, all necessary facilities were there, and extra’s. Only downsides: • Wi-Fi only works in the bedroom. I was connected to 4 routers/access points, but when you’re in the bathroom or kitchen it switches to cellular data. • The pillows were not what I’m used to so I had a lot of neck pain. They are very low.

Great location close to two main train stations and a busy street with plenty of eating options. Fridge was very convenient and decent sized. Shower had great water pressure. All bathroom amenities included and plenty of towels + toilet paper provided. The washing machine was so great to have and washing capsules were provided. Very easy access and clear instructions from owner. Very quiet during day and night, we both slept so well. The pillows were quite firm but apart from this everything else was perfect!

• Gino (10/5): Great little nook just steps away from Shinjuku and a couple of stations from Nakano Broadway. - Price is great and the landlord is very responsive. We asked for an additional hour after check-out to pack our bags and they were very kind to accomodate us. No fancy bidet toilet but not a big deal. Walls are thin but mostly quiet during the day.

• Joshua (8/5): Very good - Helpful host, check-in is extremely easy, and the stay is located in a great spot -- a few minutes walk away from two stations to go anywhere. The beds are comfortable, and the property comes well-stocked with towels and necessities. The property was amazing for the price. The ventilation in the bathroom doesn't work very well.

• Minnie (10/5): Most Comfortable Stay - It’s very clean, comfortable, spacious, very close to Don Quijote, restaurants and Shin-Okubo Station which is part of the Yamanote Line loop, and it has everything you need including drinking water. The staff is also very kind and responsive via booking.com chat but since I’m not knowledgeable in speaking Japanese, I used papago for translation and it worked just fine. We’ll definitely book the place again! None.
