Guest Reviews
- ghburma (7/5): Sufficient and quiet - The space was great for a family. We weren't tripping over each other. Big living room. The kitchen had cooking oil and coffee stuff. The ninja coffee maker was great! The suite was very quiet, we couldn't hear anyone upstairs. And its nice and cool inside on hot days. Slippers were provided for tile floor and tissue boxes were supplied! The host was very quick to respond to messages and was helpful in my questions re booking changes. There is a gas station/ small grocery store and coffee about 10 min walk. The kitchen could use extra serving dishes, salad bowls, coasters for hot dishes etc. The fridge had a broken shelf in door which I didn't see until my bottle fell out. The main bed is on the really firm side: could use extra memory foam padding. Bathroom could use an extra towel rod/ ring for smaller towels. Extra cleaning supplies and paper towel refill would be nice to have... But it was sufficient for our short stay as we only ate breakfast there and were away all day until returning to sleep.
- Steve (10/5): Great basement suite at a great price. Great location. - The location for us during this stay was perfect. There was everything we needed within a 3km radius from big box stores like Walmart, Real Canadian Superstore, Canadian Tire, Home Depot and many more even a Very Large Mall.
The owners were very quick to respond to any questions and always polite and friendly. The basement suite was large and had pretty much everything we needed. Easy to park and get in and out of even during rush hour. Lots of great parks close by.
Yes you hear people walking upstairs during the day but its like an apartment. If you want dead quiet, pick somewhere else. It was not noisy just some sounds. My wife was recovering from a surgery and said she had a great rest during the day when she need quiet.
The flowers and small bushes in the yard were beautiful I wish we could have been there when they bloomed the owner takes great care of them and it shows. I would love to have sat in a lawn chair and relaxed in the yard it was peaceful. If we ever find ourselves in that area we will definitely look at the availability again. Thank you! The water pressure is lower than we are used to but for the area from what I understand from other people we met that is normal in Langley. Otherwise its great.

- Smith (10/5): Expectational - This is my second review, I was 100% Satisfied, cozy nook is child Friendly , had some kid like activity for the small ones whom are traveling, nice and very quiet basement suite , could use a bigger TV but the one they have is good , private bathroom and laundry room to use while your their was the bet part 😀 , I had my home burnt down end of October so this is really awesome since there isn't alot of home stays like this , I highly recommend staying 😀. Laundry , private Bathroom , two bed rooms was cool , the price was expectational.. and affordable..

- MangoBook (7/5): - Check in was easy, got a door code and were right in. We appreciated the clarity about where to park. The space was laid out well. Really well-located for what were were doing. Suite was decently clean. There are coffee shops and a grocery store within walking distance. The queen bed is incredibly soft- as in difficult to actually roll over in. We also felt it was a little weird that open condiments were left in the fridge. The upstairs is also a short term rental- the first two nights it was inhabited by a quiet family, the last night it was occupied by what seemed to be a large group. They parked in the middle of the parking space and we had to ask them to move over to let us park. They also had another car parked a distance away and boxed our vehicle in for a while. We then had to go up after midnight and ask them to be quiet (they said they would and then proceeded to turn the music down slightly and keep up talking and laughing very loudly until 2 am). 1/2 the group was up at 5:30 in the morning and loud again. We were under the impression that the owner lived above the suite. Had we known that both units were short term rentals, we would not have booked. We did not need a party above us.
- Wendy (10/5): would stay again - great location
easy instructions given to begin my stay no tea towels to dry dishes
- Pepsi (2/5): I dont recommend to stay here - It was spacious. Thats it. The first thing we realized when we stepped inside was how dirty it was. When we opened the dishwasher there were still dirty dishes that have not been washed. The lights flickered 50% of the time. Not enough towels. And at 11pm while we were trying to sleep, the owners/people upstairs were still blasting music and yelling.
- Amanda (9/5): It’s A Very Nice Place And I Would Stay Here Again!! - I really enjoyed the stay here. The suite is very spacious and basically had everything that we needed. The host was very helpful too. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and I would stay here again sometime! The only thing that was missing was laundry detergent but the host was able to provide it to us relatively quickly!
- Joseph (5/5): Passable - Easy to find and close to a lot of places I needed to go. Unit upstairs was rented and they blasted loud music until well past midnight.
- Noni (8/5): Comfortable and very good value. - Very good value for money. Comfortable and fit a family well. Had parking and could walk to convenience stores. There was a leak from the toilet. Notified owner but no resolution, just kept a towel on the floor.
- Amanda (10/5): You Need To Stay Here!! - I had the absolute pleasure of staying in this amazing, two bedroom basement suite for 4 days and 3 nights. And I loved it. I don’t have anything bad to say about this whole experience! It was great all the way through. I enjoyed all of it. The host was very, very friendly and responsive and helpful with answering all of my questions, regardless of how crazy they were! And they even went out of their way to make sure that there was some food in the fridge and in the cupboards too, which I thought was a really, really nice touch! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It has everything that you will need in somewhere to stay and then some! It’s the nicest place I have had the pleasure of staying at so far, in all of my travels and I would love to come back again sometime! Thank you so much for everything, you have a very lovely home and you are a very lovely person too! ♥️🥰😊 Nothing, I liked everything about it. It was the perfect place to stay! 😊
