• Oleg (9/5): Very nice place with everything you need. - Very spacious place, cosy, clean and with a nice view. You have everything you need there, everything in good condition and working. The host, Danka, is amazing, very helpful and friendly. She even helped with the parking, using her personal card. There are markets and restaurants in the region, very convenient. Even if it’s a bit far from the Dubrovnik Old Town, the public transportation works fine and there are many possibilities to move around. We enjoyed even the walk there, which was a bit long, but nice.

Be aware that you have to climb to the 4th floor, as there’s no elevator. This wasn’t a problem for me, but it could be if you’re not fit. My only issue was that we felt rushed to leave—the check-out time is listed as 11am–12pm, yet the host kept messaging me about what time we would depart because she needed to book a cleaner. When I asked if 12pm, as stated on Booking.com, was acceptable, she replied that it wasn’t in this case since new guests were arriving at 2pm. I believe this isn’t my responsibility, and she should plan better in the future.
• Lidia (1/5): Since this apartment is priced in line with the rates in Dubrovnik we strongly advise against it! - There are numerous issues related to staying in this apartment: the apartment is infested with ants! They are everywhere: in the kitchen they come from the base of the oven under the kickboard, from under the TV stand next to the refrigerator, from the base of the wall where the internal stairs to the lower-floor bedroom are located, and they are even in the bedroom (I believe they have a nest behind the wardrobe). We reported this to the owner, who told us she was unaware of the ants in the apartment and hadn’t seen them during cleaning, despite the fact that in the kitchen there was a nearly empty ant spray in one of the drawers 🙄 Who knows who bought and used it if no one knew about the presence of these pests… The ants infested all the food we had around, especially our poor house cat’s food and some preserved goods we had in a bag placed on the kitchen floor. The apartment is dirty and worn out; we had to sweep and thoroughly wash the floors as they were visibly unclean, not to mention the balconies. The washing machine leaks water from the door, the toilet seat is detached, and the kitchen is dirty. The oven is not clean, nor is the hood (see photo), and especially the freezer (see photo). Even the window panes are dirty, as if they had never been cleaned, especially those in the bedroom. The mattress and pillows in the bedroom are very hard and therefore uncomfortable for sleeping several nights. The house is located on the fourth floor of a building that is in very poor condition; the tiles on the stairs of the first two floors are of one type, the third floor has different tiles, and the fourth floor has yet another type, as if the building had been constructed in three different phases. The internal stairs in the apartment do not have a handrail, so if there are children, it can be dangerous. Access to the apartment is without an elevator, and you only find this out by reading reviews and asking the owner for confirmation, as it is not adequately indicated during the booking process. Another negative point concerns parking. We selected this accommodation because, traveling with a rather large car and multiple suitcases, we needed a parking space/garage that was easily accessible for loading and unloading. Despite explicitly requesting this from the owner through private messages before booking and receiving reassurances regarding the availability of suitable parking adjacent to the accommodation, at check-in we discovered that in reality the parking was more than 300 meters away from the apartment. Then there’s the check-in and check-out experience. At check-in, the welcome was poor because the owner did everything hastily, to the point of commenting on the number of suitcases to carry into the apartment since she was in a rush to leave for a weekend on a boat. On the day of check-out, since the parking was very far from the accommodation and the owner was not present to help us carry down the luggage (unlike during check-in), we had to find an improvised drop-off area. When the owner saw us, she was annoyed and told us to quickly load the car and move it, without any assistance from her, despite the inconvenience she caused with the parking situation. In conclusion, since this apartment is priced in line with the rates in Dubrovnik, meaning it is not cheap, we strongly advise against it.

• Georgios (1/5): Disappointing Stay – Dirty Apartment and Unsafe Stairs - - We booked this apartment in Dubrovnik for 5 nights but unfortunately had to leave after just 2 due to the poor conditions. First of all, the apartment is located on the 4th floor with no elevator, and the stairs leading up to it were extremely narrow, dark, and filthy—a serious safety concern, especially if you have luggage or mobility issues. The building itself felt neglected and unwelcoming from the moment we entered. Once inside the apartment, things did not improve. It was noticeably dirty, with a carpet and a sofa full of dust. It was very difficult to breathe, especially for anyone with allergies or sensitivities. It didn’t feel like the apartment had been cleaned or aired properly before our arrival. The air quality was terrible, and despite opening the windows, there was no relief. In the end, we felt it was better for our health and peace of mind to cut the stay short and leave after two nights. Definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless major improvements are made.

• Josephine (9/5): Lovely appartment, well located , super helpful host. - The host was really lovely - was waiting for us and even carried one of our suitcases up. She was able to give us lots of ideas on trips to take and was incredibly welcoming. The only issue is the shower is hard to use as it is handheld not attached to a wall.
• Ann (9/5): Superb - It's a very modern apartment so I would recommend it - The view from the balcony is so good 😊 The living area is large & it has 2 balconies on each side - the kitchen is v modern & clean. The bedroom is down the stairs & it is huge & it also has a fab view of the marina! Everything was very good in the apartment we really enjoyed it & it is so close to shops/ restaurants! Just a hand rail on the stairs for safety would be good.

She provided her WhatsApp number, and when I called her upon our arrival, she was already waiting for us. Even though we arrived earlier than the scheduled check-in time, Danka quickly prepared and cleaned the apartment, allowing us to settle in as soon as possible. She was also flexible with our late check-out since there were no reservations for that day. our stay at Marina View Apartments was perfect

• Emilian (9/5): Superb - The apartament was quite spacios, placed in the centre of the city, with shopping nearby and an underground parking. The kitchen had pretty much everything you would need and the host was helpful. The walk to the main attractions of the city was uphill so it can be a bit tiring in the summer heat, but you have a bus station close or take the bolt.

• Linda (9/5): Superb - The apartment was beautiful, so clean and very well stocked. Danka thought of everything a family would need for their holiday. The apartment is ideally located between the old town and the newer part with a short bus ride to both. The bus stops are only a few minute walk. There's also a lovely shopping centre just across the road and a nice restaurant there aswell if you don't feel like going anywhere. Beautiful walks along the marina in the evenings. Very quiet at night so it was perfect for our family. The steps up to the apartment might be an issue for some.
