• Hugh (3/5): - pool area was great,facilities were poor,only 1 set of bedding that didn't fit the double bed,1bath towel an hand towel each,had to use 1 hand towel for a bath mat, ask for a change an was told to wash them an dry outside or take to the laundry 100meters away ,shower area had broken tiles an dirty grout in walls,we tried cleaning with bleach to little improvement, broken tile on the floor in kitchen area,my partner cut her foot on, curtains cut to different lengths on door,the apartment needs a lot of repairs,,no natural light in the bedroom, I had to burst open the shutters to let light in the room,I wouldn't recommend this property to friends or family, very,very poor facilities nothing
• Jane (5/5): - Location was good. Very basic accommodation. Nothing to write home about. Stained sofa. Bedding washed out and old. Window rattles. We have stayed in lovely accommodation on the complex this was very basic. Won't be returning.

• Hudáková (1/5): - Ubytovanie bolo bez raňajok Nebolo dostatočne upratané - v apartmáne boli myši a ich výkaly. Bol tam cítiť plesne, riady boli špinavé, posteľné oblečenie som musela vyprať lebo bolo cítiť po plesniach. 5 noci sme spali u známych. Žiadala som od majiteľa nejakú finančnú kompenzáciu - prišla mi negatívna odpoveď
• Ian (1/5): Never again! - Unable to stay at apartment so no positive feedback to share Due to a water leak, the apartment reserved and paid for was not available. They offered accommodation for 4 days as an alternative, subject to cancelling our existing booking and paying again locally, but for the final 3 days of the trip, they told us to find accommodation elsewhere ourselves. For first-time travellers, this was unacceptable, and alternative accommodation should have been arranged at the owners expense even if it was higher than what was paid as we did not create the situation we found ourselves in. Complaint was raised via app, but the property never responded to it. Booking.com processed a full refund on the day of travel, but it takes 7-12 days to arrive. That said, it's now been 13 days, and still no refund. Thankfully, the reception staff contacted a friend who had an apartment elsewhere available and agreed to the same price, though the payment had to be made again locally out of our pocket before refund d was received. We had a great time once resolved, albeit with less cash available than expected, but would never book this property in the future, and I am unsure if I would use booking.com again either

• Peter (7/5): Peter hall - It was worth the money, nice and cool of an evening so great sleep wise and great location in the centre of Caleta. Fantastic swimming pool. There were no fire extinguishers or emergency contact numbers which I found quite unsettling. Unlike the other apartments on puerta del Sol the satellite tv was poor we were very limited as to what we could watch ( basically all we had was Amazon prime and YouTube) . Better pillows in the bedroom would be good

• Rebecca (10/5): Superb! - Everything we needed and wanted from a short break in Fuerteventura. Close to bars and restaurants, beautiful pool area with a special mention to the pool bar which had the nicest, most attentive staff who made the best pool bar food I have ever had. Think fresh focaccia/handmade burgers with the highest quality ingredients. The apartment itself had all the amenities we needed and the owner was really helpful.
• Christopher (9/5): Nice place and very convenient - Great, quiet and very secure location, just 400m for the main strip, great place to stay with it's own entertainment and restaurants, if you don't want to go in the centre. Nothing behind it but that add to the mystique of Fuertaventura, stunning but baron in places!!!

• Ronald (6/5): Pleasant - The roadworks outside! Though not their fault, it should have been mentioned beforehand as was difficult to find and access. Parking was impossible. There was also little communication on how to check in, where to pick up the key and where to leave it at the end of the stay.
• Gary (6/5): Pleasant - Location, lovely pool with bars and restaurants on site. The whole complex very dusty due to the road outside the complex being dug up. Did not look like the communal grounds had been cleaned for a very long time. Terrace areas at apt the same and furniture, clothes dryer etc unusable as so dirty. The water was cut off for a few hours one day due to the workmen cutting thru a water pipe. There was a drain smell from the shower for a few days after this. I appreciate this is all outwith the owners control.
• Christopher (10/5): Fuerte's Best - The location. Incredible, with swimming pool, and restaurants and bars just in the square. Daria, is amazing our transaction went so smoothly, I couldn't recommend highly enough. The road outside, was 6 feet deep under construction and absolutely nowhere to park. Of course the parking problem will be solved once the road is made. The oven in our room didn't work. But everything else did. It wasn't such a big deal.
• Simone (7/5): Good - Fantastic location right next to the square Dated property without a change of towels and bedding. There a washing machine but I don't go on holiday to wash towels and bedding every few days. The bathroom sink not fixed during our 14 day stay. Very over priced compared to lots of apartments which were finished to a much higher standard. Will definitely stay on the complex again but not in apartment 260.
• Kamal (5/5): Would go back to the complex but not that apartment or any other if this owner etc is involved. - Decent complex. Needs some repairs and updating. Apartment 260: very basic, just one towel, one small hand towel and one tea towel for drying crocks, no spare bed sheet…just a quilt with cover that didn’t fasten fully, no sun lounger though dark position of apartment/ terrace meant not relevant, no beach/sun lounger towel which would have been nice for by the pool. Blocked shower drain!…unhelpful owner etc who initially asked me to “use the rubber from behind the toilet and if it’s not there, borrow one from Bobbys Bar”…it was never open. They didn’t come to fix it - they wanted me to stay in so they could go in the apartment… no way, I was on holiday as I told them. On one occasion they claimed they came out to fix it and no one was in, I’d alreadytold them I would not be in and had planned days out. Another occasion they claimed they came out to fix it and no one was in - I was! They didn’t come out I don’t think!! I got fed up of walking through dirty water after showering and mopping to protect the living room area, so bought some drain unblocker myself. Other minor issues were sorted, including tv remote needed new batteries so that it worked, Cooker hob was stuck on lock. There’s no instruction for anything in the apartment. Finally, the best bit: I had pre emailed them to advise my approximate arrival time and asked if I’d be able to get access before 3pm. When I found the complex (that’s actually called Puerto del Sol), I emailed to say I was there and to ask how I get in? THERE IS NO RECEPTION/OFFICE FOR THE COMPLEX. They emailed back to say they would tell me when the apartment was ready… they did at 1:30pm. I emailed back to ask “How do I get in?” They replied “the apartment is open, the key and card are on the table”. So I asked “How do I get into the complex?” (There are locked gates). The reply I got made me ‘smiiiile’…. They actually replied “wait by the gates for someone to go in/out “🤔

• Steven (4/5): good location, - location, kitchen very well equipped musty damp smell, bed and bed linen very basic, tired sofa, chipped mugs, bedroom window didn’t close properly so rattled all night if it was windy, lack of si beds around pool.
• Wendy (5/5): Not good..expected more - The apartment is located on Puerto do Sol which is central with easy access to bars and restaurants. Nice pool area. Apartment has a new washing machine. Microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, oven and hob. It was nice and clean. The apartment faces north so you never get any sun. Its so dark you need the lights on during the day. Unable to open bedroom shutters for extra light. There were 2 bunk size thin quilts for the double bed, 2 very old sad lumpy pillows. No spare bedding, blankets or pillows - we stayed in January and it was very cold. We had to ask for blankets which I think should have been there as standard - ended up being given 2 small fleece throws and a single bedspread. I went to IKEA and bought some more pillows in the end. There are no cleaning products supplied so be prepared to buy your own. No tin opener, scissors or decent sharp knives. Very small water heater so very short showers. Patio furniture old, rusty and threadbare - the local cats seemed to like them though. If you want a sunbed by the pool make sure you get there early as they are usually reserved by 8.30 and there's very few to be had. This apartment is on a very nice complex but its just not in the best position which can't be helped. We went out every day and night so spent as little time as possible there. All the issues I had were bought to the attention of the manager at the time and were partially resolved but had a bit more care and attention been paid in the first place then our stay would have been alot better. I paid well over the odds for this apartment and expected more.

• Margaret (9/5): Lovely chilled out holiday - Beautiful pool. Our apartment was lovely had washing machine cooker oven plenty dishes. We and a broken light bulb in bathroom. Lady came and fixs straight away 😄 Could do with new pillows. And some towels. To many cats .around .smell of cats pee. In the garden .😝
