Yuki1942 (4/5): A room in a rundown apartment - In May 2025, I stayed in a room on the 7th floor (the top floor, 6th floor in British terms) of an old apartment. There is a lot of rubble in and around the building, and it feels abandoned. Good points... - Towel. - Air conditioning. - The ocean from the balcony, but it's full of dirty rooftops of buildings, so the view isn't great. - There are many supermarkets nearby. Other points... - TV. - WiFi. - The host doesn't seem to live nearby, so you have to meet up to check in (internet connection required). - When checking out, you're supposed to hand the key to the man at the entrance to the apartment, but he wasn't there. - 10 minute taxi ride from the central bus terminal, 10€. - Not shown on Google Maps. - No table to eat at (there is a very small table, but there is one on the balcony). - No microwave. - No kettle. - No cutting board. - No trash can in the kitchen. - The stove is too weak, making it difficult to cook, and it takes 15 minutes to boil water. - There was food left in the refrigerator from the previous guest. - No hair dryer. - No washing machine. - Construction work is going on in the room opposite, so there is a lot of noise and vibration. - There was a power outage (can not get water. I was afraid to get on the elevator).
