They didn't even answer my call or call me upon my request, when I was searching under the rain. Just by WhatsApp he or she led me to the door. A very uncomfortable bed.

• Guest (2/5): - The host was very kind and respond quickly to every question. The location was fine. The photos had nothing to do with the actual room. It was quite dirty, with dirty towels and sheets. The walls throughout the house had mold, and the kitchen was in poor condition.

Desde ya entrar al edificio y encontrar una cañería rota (adjunto todas las fotos), entramos a la habitación y no se podía respirar del olor a humedad y encierro, la habitación sucia con muchísimo olor, en las sábanas encontramos pelos, las almohadas de la cama eran de sofá, el televisor roto, el sofá sucio con polvo y restos de comida o algo, las sábanas ni siquiera eran del tamaño de la cama, lo que al acostarse, se salían. No había ni una mesa de luz, ni mesa ni sillas. Si ofrecen cocina, dónde se supone que alguien se siente a comer? Ofrecen lavarropas pero no hay donde extender la ropa, ni perchas ni muebles ni tender ni nada. Para eso que no ofrezcan. La cocina sucia, en la heladera habían pelos dentro y el congelador lleno de hielo (prácticamente no sirve) Pero lo peor de todo, es el baño. LLENO DE HUMEDAD Y MOHO, la ducha no andaba!!! Por ende agua helada que solo salía de abajo, y como las mamparas no cerraban bien, se inundaba el baño. El propietario quiso mostrarme como funcionaba la ducha, lo normal es que funcione y punto. Literalmente no se podía dormir por la humedad, nos pasamos tosiendo toda la noche. Bajo mi reclamo, el dueño no me dio ninguna solución lógica pero cuando yo NO ESTABA, entró y dejo un tender. ¿Es normal que alguien entre sin mi consentimiento?? Estaban los pasaportes, dinero, mi portatil... Una locura Obviamente al día siguiente nos fuimos, era una estadía de 6 días. Y él propietario no se hizo cargo de nada, ni siquiera me ofreció otra habitación.

Ich hatte sieben Tage gebucht vom 13.9-20.9, bin aber nach nur einer Nacht abgereist, weil der Gestank unerträglich war und ich Atemwegsprobleme und Ausschlag bekommen habe. Ich habe das dem Vermieter mitgeteilt, und er sagte, das sei heute zum allerersten Mal ein Problem – dabei berichten Bewertungen schon von Schimmelgeruch vor anderthalb Jahren. Die Balkoncouch war nur ein kleines, klappriges Holzgestell – ich hatte versucht dort zu schlafen, doch nachts ging die Jalousie bei den Nachbarn hoch und ich wurde von zwei Männern beobachtet. Die Wohnung ist dreckig, der Gestank im Badezimmer unerträglich, aus dem Küchenabfluss flogen Insekten, und man bekommt Atemwegsprobleme durch den Schimmelpilzgestank. Es hat sich seit Jahren nichts geändert – es ist die absolute Bruchbude. Ich habe die Wohnung Booking gemeldet und rate dringend: unbedingt meiden!

The owner was very helpful and assisted me with anything I needed during my stay, which made the experience even smoother. Overall, it’s a very good choice for a solo traveler.

Arranged a 130am check-in and for someone to help me in and out (32 spiral staircase steps) with my bag. Provided missing items when requested. Aircon, washing machine worked well. Bed comfortable. Shower water hot. Quiet at night even though close to a busy tourist street. It looked very different to the pictures but was the same place. TV faces the floor. Limited kitchen - plates, cooking utensils etc. Initially no toiletries provided. I wanted the clothes rack to dry my clothes before joining a tour and it did eventually arrive but they had to order it. (They did take my wet washing and dry it for me). Mould on the bathroom ceiling and in the grout.

• magali (1/5): à fuir !!!! pire endroit que j'ai réservé! - le seul point positif de cet appartement c'est l'emplacement au centre de la ville. Et encore pour moi, c'était une très mauvaise décision car j'ai galéré à trouver un parking très cher dans des rues très étroites (1400try pour 2 jours ) Je ne sais pas par où commencer tellement la déception est grande. Fuyez ! Nous avions réservé 2 nuits , nous sommes partis après la 1ère nuit. Il n'y a rien qui va dans cet appartement, les toilettes sentent l'égout , la porte coulissante de douche est cassée. Il y a2 plaque à gaz relié à une sorte de tuyaux avec du papier aluminum et on se demande à quel moment ça va exploser. Je n'ai de toutes façons pqs pu l'utiliser car je ne fume pas et je n'avais pas de briquet sur moi pour allumer le gaz. Il y avait 2 fourchettes 2 grandes cuillères et 0 couteaux pour 3 personnes. Pas de table , nous avons mangé sur les lits .j'ai pu utiliser la machine à laver le 1er jour mais oh surprise il n'y avait pas d'etendoir pour étendre le linge . la tv ne fonctionne pas ou du moins la télécommande n'est pas fournie. le fraiseur du frigo est cassé et rempli à bloc de glace donc pas de place pour y mettre quoi que ce soit, la déco est immonde et ne ressemble en rien au photo . et effectivement comme déjà dit dans d'autres commentaires , dehors il y a une pente raide pour accéder à l'appart ,des chats comme partout à Istanbul avec l'odeur d'urine de chats qui vous suit partout . le 2e jour , à 10h du matin , il y a eu une coupure de courant local qui a duré jusqu'au soir. alors oui ce n'était pas la faute du propriétaire et il a répondu à mes messages mais au delà de tout ce que j'ai déjà écrit , utiliser cet appart avex nos frontales de portable et devoir vider le frigo,c'était trop poyr nous et nous sommes partis.

Staff were very responsive to communication so I had no real issues during the stay! AC was much appreciated and unlike other guests, I had no problems with the free WiFi. Not the hotel’s fault, as this was something I just wasn’t used to, but the door to my room was a bit tricky. I didn’t realize you had to turn the key and pull the door a bit to loosen the bolt before pushing it open! Still, easy to get the hang of after the first try.

• Fernando (2/5): Nightmare in Istanbul - Careful! - This has been one of my worst stays with Hotels.com. The property listed on the website had nothing to do with the one I actually received. The flat was advertised as non-smoking and including a sofa bed, but neither of these was true. The apartment had a very strong, almost unbearable cigar smell, and there was no sofa bed. The overall condition of the property was poor and unsafe. The fridge didn’t work, and the shower doors were broken. We had planned to stay for 6 nights, but due to the very poor conditions and the lack of a proper place for our child to sleep, we decided to leave after just a few hours. After check-in, the host became impossible to contact. Despite trying to reach Hotels.com more than 10 times for support and to request a refund or assistance in changing accommodations, we were unable to get any help. The entire experience felt like a fraud, completely misleading, and not what we expected from a platform we trusted.
• Narbonne (1/5): Avoid at all cost !!! - Nothing – we only stayed a few minutes, just long enough to contact the owner for a cancellation. Does not reflect the photos published on the Booking.com page at all. Disgusting apartment, moldy and not well maintained. Shower door completely unhinged, significant mold, no decorations like in the photos, worn-out patio deck, véranda door that won’t close despite multiple attempts, ceilings under 6 feet – uncomfortable for my 5'8" partner, trash and insects in the hallway. Owner didn't respond to our request for cancellation.

The owners wasn’t willing to fix it and even asked us to talk to the handyman. And it all happened after we asked several times. Also there is only one blanket for two people. The second one will not provided even if you ask.

Location of the apartment is great The apartment is quite small and lacks ventilation, though this wasn't a major issue for me. However, the bathroom is extremely tiny, which could be problematic for taller individuals. The street is steeply sloped and poorly lit at night.

The nearest parking was around 25 minutes away from the hotel. The location was awful, and when I had an emergency and called for help, it took 45 minutes for them to arrive.

The location is superb as it is directly on one of the small streets leading up to Galata tower, which also leads to the apartment being quiet at night although its on the streets so close to it. The balcony was amazing Due to the size of the big balcony the apartment was slightly smaller than the other apartments downstairs. If you cook in the room the smell will take a while to go out
