• Cheryl (9/5): - The Noble Motel was the perfect choice for my stay to do a day at The Dharma Centre close by. The room was clean and newly renovated. No problem making a request for extra pillows. As a solo traveler, the size was just right and felt like home. It was calm and quiet. So wonderful to see families with small children enjoying the water and sandy beach. I would gladly recommend a stay here.

The place was very clean, beds were good, a couple of water bottles etc. The price point for a stopover was on point. I can imagine it will be even nicer in the summer with the beach and the firepit!

• Tiffany (8/5): Hidden gem - Lovely lake and close to small towns in the kawarthas to explore...use of kayaks/canoe/paddle boat...BBQ and fire pit...small and quiet...cool and beautiful spot...attentive and kind staff Beds were a bit uncomfortable but I would stay again because of everything else...in fact you can rent the property for the week for 5k...would be brilliant for a reunion, wedding, etc...book in advance!

• Robin (10/5): Lovely motel with a waterfront view and a heart. - We were making extremely last-minute plans for the long weekend. We’ve recently rescued a dog, so it’s become a lot more complicated to plan trips. Just by chance, there was one room still left at the Noble Motel. We figured we’d take it since they specified they welcomed dogs. (And it was very reasonably priced). The owners were extremely responsive from the moment we booked, responding to a question we had immediately. Upon arrival, Jackie came out immediately to warmly welcome us. They were in the home adjacent to the motel, so were close by if needed. The motel grounds are picturesque, with broad lawns, a barn and a really nice little beach area that faces a pretty lake. The beach had been freshly raked just before our arrival. Jackie let us know they would be having a fire at the fire pits at 7, and that there was a screened-in porch and BBQ for use as well. The room was small, but had two beds and still room for our dog bed as well as a small table and chair set. It was very clean and well-appointed. There was a small fridge, a pod coffee maker, fresh linens, air conditioning, a smart tv that we were able to use all of our streaming apps on, free wifi, bedding/shower curtain looked new. It seemed like many of the other guests were into ATV/Motorcycling. Overall the rooms were simple, older motel rooms, but you could tell that this place is cared for. From the little cafe tables & chairs out front of each room, to how cleans the rooms are, to the personalized communication, you can tell this place isn’t just typical roadside motel, but a place someone cares about. Nothing complaints

Open lines of communication. No staff on site. No restaurants nearby were open. Summer hours might be different. We had to drive to Minden.
• Hewson (9/5): Great Motel - The motel inside was beautiful and I thought the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely re book again for Spring or summer I didn't like that Ben and I drove 6 hrs when we arrived, the owner was nowhere to be found. After waiting sometime. I ended up leaving her a phone message and Did also wrote thought Booking.com I tried to come cross as best that I could I won't lie I was getting frustrated. I thought I was going to meet her. The person that was helping didn't arrive till 3:50 and yes he was super nice. I felt he should have already been there.those. I hope she has an amazing trip. The owner does come cross friendly and loving when sending me a message back.

Very accommodating person who texted and replied promptly. I would love to come back at a warmer time The pillows were older. I chose the softest one, but it was lumpy, and my neck hurt in the morning. I will remember to bring ours from home next time. We stayed during winter (February), so we expected it to be cold outside. The heater did not seem to reach the bed area. The heat was at head height in that area. We used a quilt that we'd brought on top of the bedding provided. A small fan would solve this. The bathroom floor was cold, but there was a plush mat provided, which helped a lot. It is a beautiful place and we would stay again.

• Piotr (10/5): Best motel ever! - This motel was honestly one of the best motels I've ever stayed! It exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, rooms looked modern. Very spacious and fantastic location by the lake. It's really hard to find anything to complain about. Maybe a little suggestion but that's all. I would use better quality toilet paper and add a little kettle and tea bags. And maybe clean the remote control, it was super sticky.
• A (9/5): Great place and managed with the patron in mind. - A little off the beaten path gem nestled in the Kawarthas. Staff was engaged and actually cared that I was there and ensured I settled in OK. Everything you want with a touch of what you didn’t expect (the sheets were soooooo soft). That I couldn’t stay longer.
