• Alan (1/5): - Villa Carol cancelled our booking 6hours before check in time despite having booked and paid in advance. Booking.com did refund the money within a week but have only offered an extra €60 compensation despite the fact that it cost significantly more than that to find last minute accommodation for a family of 5

• Scott (10/5): Stunning villa. - Pool was amazing very private plus the villa was stunning every room had beautiful decor and the beds were so comfy 10/10. 1 room did'nt have air conditioning apart from that i can have no complaints.

Anfitrión pendiente de que todo estuviera perfecto. Por ponerle alguna pega sería a las sartenes. Ni una decente para poder algo sin que se pegue.

• Gemma (9/5): Great facilities - The pool was beautiful, the location was quiet but close enough to walk to the sea front, and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. As others have said there was one room that seemed to be lacking compared to the others, it was missing air con and furniture for your clothes, plus the toilet in that room had a broken flush but it was still a comfortable room for us.

Ausencia de armarios en dormitorios (salvo 1), ausencia de cortinas para luz y calor en dormitorio planta superior. En cocina, sartenes inservibles. Mobiliario de la terraza en mal estado.
• Howard (8/5): Super relaxed after our stay at Villa Carol - The property was spotless on arrival and we as a family had plenty of space and the outside space was excellent with the pool. Had an issue with the colour of pool water on arrival but this was quickly dealt with by Carol who was excellent and just had a really relaxing holiday. Just what we thought was odd only the main bedroom has wardrobes the others have draws and one bedroom has nothing plus upstairs bedroom could really do with a curtain to stop the sun beaming through at 6.00 am instead of clear blind--not complaints but just observations.
• James (9/5): Relaxing and comfortable. - The amount of space was excellent and lovely outside area with pool. Only issue was one of downstairs toilets did not flush.

• Andre (4/5): Think before you book! - Quiet location, unfortunately, we had several issues with people dumping items surrounding property late at night, which woke us up. The pool was a great size, and visually, it was a superb villa. Recommend if you take pictures before and after. No communication with the owner, but when I did, she was extremely rude. No key safe code given. Pool was green upon arrival and had to wait 4 extra days before could swim due to chlorine levels being high Jacuzzi didn't work There were only 3 sunbeds, but we had 5 people on day 7. After moaning, we received. Internet only worked on one level and is still very poor. Ants in the kitchen reported, but no help. Lack of bed linen/pillows. The Tv didn't really work. No fans or air con(batteries missing). The lights in the bedroom are faulty. No safe. Rear lower double doors didn't have double locks on. The noise from the rear of the property. The tumble dryer handle broken couldn't be used. The condition of furniture was very poor. Damaged outdoor furniture. It's just not worth the money.
• Joseph (8/5): As we were all adults the shortcomings didn’t impede us at all really but at the price paid the things it was lacking sh - Roomy and clean For a villa with heated pool the heating was very poor. Only 3 sun loungers isn’t nearly enough for 8 people. 1 room had no wardrobe space at all. No pool towels at all and only one bath towel per person. These things badly let down a great property. It is not child friendly so people with young children should avoid. No additional bedding or pillows either in November this is needed
• Sarah (7/5): Lovely villa with a few small issues but didn't spoil our stay - The villa is very nicely decorated and it's not a bad location. It is very spacious for a large group. The bedrooms are a good size. The beds are comfortable. Its good having two sitting rooms. The mountain view is lovely. The layout is a little strange if you want to eat outside the kitchen is upstairs. It could do with a table and chairs on the upstairs balcony. The second bedroom downstairs smells quite damp and the wardrobe was unusable and dangerous. Seems like a damp issue in a few areas. A few little things were missing like tin opener and it would have been nicer to have had more than one towel each and one tea towel. It wasn't too much of a problem as there is a washer and dryer you can use. It would have been useful to have a welcome manual with some instructions in for oven and other appliances. Be useful to list that there are hairdryer and Straightners and iron etc so you are aware. The pool was meant to be heated but still felt very cool. Communication was a little slow sometimes. I only received the key code after asking for it on the way to the villa! This was a real worry with so many scams going on at the moment. Thankfully it was fine. I have usually received this information in good time when ive stayed in other villas.
• Sarah (9/5): Lovely week in Lanzarote - The villa was very spacious and bright. Nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. Lots of amenities like washing machine, tumble dryer, iron etc. My children loved the pool - although the villa could benefit from some additional sun-loungers. The area is quiet, an easy quick drive into the marina or playa blanca front. Aldi is due to open nearby in 2025 which will be very handy. Smart TV - we were able to log into Prime and Netflix. Air-con in 3 out of 4 bedrooms. Beautiful sunrises over the mountains every morning. Some areas could do with a bit of maintenance. Some of the banisters on the stairs need fixing back in. Oven didn’t seem to work properly.
• Marcus (8/5): Lovely villa with great fittings. Good decor and good sized rooms. Pool is great and welcome at the end of a hot day. Th - the whole lay out of the villa is superb. air conditioning in all but 1 bedroom. Washing machine and dryer. 1 bedroom has no air con but does have ceiling fan. only 4 U.K. sized cereal bowls.
• Iuliia (10/5): Great place for friends stay - It's a beautiful place with enough space for a group of 5 people. It has dishwasher, proper oven and microwave, washing machine and dryer. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and very nice after the long touristic activities days. There is a possibility to park a car at the property site, but also there was plenty of space on the street. Location is also very close to the beach and big supermarkets (15 minutes walking or 5 min by car) One bedroom didn't have airco installed, only ceiling fan.

• John (4/5): very disappointing - not great, not impressed , small kitchen considering size of villa, plus shared with at least one mouse. no welcome pack, not even a bottle of water was left. no cleaning or change of linen in two week stay. bed linen not suitable for size of beds and and of poor quality. jacuzzi not working and judging by previous reviews has been like this for some time. lack of information regarding property, i.e.emergency numbers info. detail of local area.

• Stephen (5/5): The villa was pretty remote from the resort centre. - The villa was large and had very comfortable beds. The pool area was large It was not easy to get the lockbox key. The kitchen was very small for the size of villa. The villa is a 20 - 25 minute walk from the main resort There is no outdoor furniture on the upstairs balcony. No pack explaining the details of the villa and how to operate certain things.

• Liam (8/5): Even though we have highlighted some shortcomings overall we love staying at this villa - The Villa is spacious with very good outdoor space and is in a very good location. Initially we were sent the wrong code to collect the door keys. There were only 3 bath towels provided for 4 adults. When we requested an additional towel we got no response. There is quite a bit of dampness downstairs. The jacuzzi pool does not work. There is a lack of furniture on the upstairs outdoor terrace. The air conditioning is adequate in only 3 of the bedrooms. There were cockroaches downstairs.
• Moylan (9/5): Great Villa exceeded expectations - Beautiful villa .Very private .clean and exceptional design. No fault of the owners but next door had work being done whilst this was going on we were unable to use pool or sit outside for our last two days of holiday due to thick dust covering us from plaster.Happy days the poolman was due and cleaned Pool Location was quite away from amenities without a car but we were able to walk off the lovely food we ate at restaurants surrounding The Rubicon mariner.

• James (8/5): Enjoyable winter break early February, able to comfortably swim in the sea at nearby beaches, - Spacious in the main well appointed and comfortable clean house with heated pool, quiet are (nobody was residing next door at the time), not too far for us to walk to the coast/beach/town, about 15 mins though we are quite fit. Nearby shops in town selling good range of food, also places to eat at reasonable prices, The town and beaches not too crowded at this time of year, early February though the town looks like it's getting overdeveloped and I'd be reluctant to visit at height of the season. kitchen very small for a house this size if you want to cook meals, only one person can work in there at a time, some extra chopping boards needed, tumble drier didn't work until I cleaned out the filter, no instruction manuals for anything or any welcome pack at all.
• Rebekah (9/5): ideal for family & large group and plenty space. very high standard of living - location close to centre Playa Blanca shops restaurants. very quiet. outdoor space fab very spacious lots of space for kids to run about. pool was ideal size.
• Liam (9/5): We had a great week in Villa Carol. It is a beautiful in a great location and we would recom - We loved the Villa which was very clean and spacious and in a great location The Wi-fi didn’t work for the last 2 days of our stay. We would have loved a supply of more towels.
• Robert (9/5): great Villa with loads of space in a very quiet location - beautiful villa with 4 great bedrooms, 2 lounges and 3 bathrooms. kitchen was great and pool was great read a review done a few days before we arrived that said the hot tub wasn’t working and it still wasn’t working when we got there. it still hadn’t been fixed by the time we left despite me messaging them every other day for an update on it. this was the only negative for the property
• Susanne (10/5): Fantastic stay at a fantastic villa and we hope to go again in the near future. - The whole house is beautiful and the host has excellent taste in furnishings. Very comfortable beds and the living areas also comfortable. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Lovely pool area and terrace spacious. The only fault was that the hot tub wasn't working, but it did not spoil our holiday.
