Guest Reviews
- Pauline (10/5): Exceptional all round. - Efficient aircon, super comfortable beds, lift to floor, spacious, lovely balcony, washing machine was a godsend. Super quiet at night and blackout windows. Location is perfect for all major attractions. Close to tram so easy to get to train station. Fantastic pizzas just opposite. Close to large supermarket. Excellent communication from owner. If there was more than one mirror (in bathroom) this would have been helpful.
- Carl (9/5): -
- Mathias (4/5): Tolle Lage mit sehr viel Potential nach oben!! - die Lage war super, sehr zentral gelegen, alle wichtigen Sehenwürdigkeiten waren zu Fuß gut zu erreichen, Klimaanlage, Vermieter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, gute Tipps, Möglichkeit eines Late-Checkouts wurde kostenlos organisiert Das Appartement ist leider seh schäbig, die Badezimmer/WC-Türe lässt sich nicht schließen, da sie am Boden klemmt! Wasserdruck zum Duschen ist fast nicht vorhanden, Kanal stinkt Durchs ganze Appartement! Der Waschtisch im Badezimmer ist von der Wand gerissen und wird nur durch 2 drunter geschobene Schränke gestützt! Die Betten / Matratzen sind eine Frechheit, komplett durchgelegen; Die Küche leider auch sehr in die Jahre gekommen und die Ausstattung sehr grauenhaft;
Dachterrasse leider sehr vernachlässigt, alle Pflanzen vertrocknet und die Gartenmöbel sehr schmutzig!
Generell ist die Ausstattung/Möbel sehr schäbig, kaputt und in die Jahre gekommen!!
- Marek (9/5): - V noci mierny hluk
- James (7/5): Amazing location. - Location Location Location. This is absolutely the best location to explore everything in Rome. You don’t want to walk too far in the heat. Received excellent tips from the host and there were quick to respond to all questions. Missed various kitchen utensils
Worse was not being able to close the bathroom door. Should be told about this in advance.
The outdoor space is fine but not beautiful. And you have to go up an extremely narrow spiral staircase to get there which will not be accessible for many.
No storage in one room for clothes.
Nowhere to hang towels
- Edvina (10/5): Great experience - Amazing location, just steps from all major attractions. The apartment was on 5th level but had elevator. It was very insulated so you couldn’t hear noise from outside.
- Grant (8/5): Great location and great stay for the price. - Great location. Nice strong air conditioning. The rooftop patio was great. Even though Rome was hotter than the surface of the sun while we were there, the shade and breeze made it tolerable. Was not an issue for us, but the unit we stayed in was up 101 stairs. An elevator could fit one person and one large bag so just something to be aware of if you are facing any health challenges or if you travel heavy. We only travel with carry-ons so the stairs were not a big deal.
- Drayton (10/5): Exceptional - The upstairs terrace is great. Views aren't spectacular but its nice and private and a great place to relax after walking around all day.
- Donna (9/5): In an area that was easy to walk to the sites in Rome but it was quiet at night - Excellent location. It was comfortable. It had a washing machine for laundry. The host was very helpful and attentive.
- Daniela (9/5): Superb -
- Simona (10/5): Exceptional - Super location, great place, great service!
- Haifa (9/5): Strategic location - Beautiful building in a very strategic location, steps away from the Pantheon.
Thank you for the early check-in !
- Gerard (8/5): Very good - Perfect central location
- Roxana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Allan (10/5): Exceptional - Great central location to all the sights. Building felt very secure. Lots of transport options nearby for sights a bit further away. A few local eateries straight across from the accomodation and a supermarket within a couple of hundred metres. Great to have rooftop as an extra space. Host provided some great recommendations. Definitely recommend.
- Sun (10/5): Very recommended -
- Jillian (10/5): Fabulous. We would stay again. - The location is excellent. We loved the older apartment building with the tiny elevator and Roman sarcophagus in the entry hallway. The views over the rooftops are lovely. Note that they are over terracotta rooves of neighboring apartment buildings. You cannot see the Pantheon from the terrace but it does not matter! You are still in the middle of Rome, and the place is just the right amount of quiet. It would be good to provide clean sponges and dish towels in the kitchen. Other than that, it was wonderful.
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Josephine (9/5): Great location and very good host! - Very good instructions of where to find the keys and how to get into the appartment. We could not figure out about the hot water in the shower and got help immediately from the host. (we just had to let it run longer time, there was plenty warm water!). A great location for exploring Rome. The lighting in the living area was only from spots in the ceiling, no cosy lighting, we used a lamp from one of the bedrooms.
- Christopher (9/5): Really enjoyed our stay in a fabulously convenient location. - Location is outstanding. Really convenient to walk to the sights of Rome.
Access instructions from host were clear and simple. Lift might be uncomfortable for some as v small… 2 people is a squeeze… but good to have a lift!
- Siobhan (8/5): Very good - Location was perfect, walking distance to everywhere. Loads of restaraunts in the vicinity. Supermarket, shopping and luggage store round the corner.
Good, spacious, light, and airy apartment for a family of 4 adults.
Communal areas of the building ( halls & stairs) felt secure and clean.
Roof Terrace was lovely and great for relaxing away from the busy city.
AC was very much appreciated in the main bedroom and living area.
Initial supply of toilet roll, paper towel, washing up liquid and coffee pods was provided, thank you.
Bathroom has been upgraded from the photos on the current listing so these facilities were much better than we were expecting. Nothing really not to like:
Nice to haves would include: tea towels for the kitchen, hand soap in the bathroom, more mugs, ice cube trays for freezer. Mirrors in bedrooms(difficult with only mirror being in the bathroom ).
- Erin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samuel (8/5): Very good -
- Ryan (10/5): Great location and very comfortable accommodation - Fantastic location!
- Ashleigh (9/5): Good value for money. Excellent location. - Property in the heart of Rome. Very clean and the hosts were excellent. Nothing
- Gretchen (10/5): We loved the privacy, central location and idyllic terrace at this oasis in the heart of Rome. - Host sent great instructions on how to get in. Was very responsive to all my questions. Had great suggestions for luggage storage and dining. Property was amazing. Great location, close to everything. Very quiet for being in the middle of the city. AC in bedroom and living room worked very well. LOVED the upstairs outdoor terrace. Perfect for morning coffee or drinks in the evening. Could hear singing during mass at church next door. Many birds to watch. I miss it already! No AC unit in second bedroom. It was OK with door to LR left open and fan on but a little warm on hot days. Ice trays needed in freezer. Some peeling paint in Bathroom.
- Krzysztof (9/5): Highly recommended - Fantastic contact with the host! Very friendly and helpful. Provided a great list of recommended places, answered every question we had.
We chose the apartment because of the location and the terrace, both of which were great decisions. The location is in short walking distance from most attractions in Rome. The terrace provided a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing or to have breakfast, very quiet, private, and comfortable.
The apartment has a well equipped kitchen and washing machine, there's also a we'll stocked grocery store just around the corner.
Air conditioning worked well, but the apartment was well ventilated and cool, so there was little need to actually use it. For some that's 6.5" tall the stairs to the terrace were a bit small but manageable.
Slightly limited workspace on the kitchen counter.
- Emma (9/5): A great location for a family break - The location of the apartment was perfect. It is equidistant to the Coliseum and the Vatican making it easy to walk to each of these locations. The outside space was brilliant. I booked this as we were travelling with our 8 year old son and I wanted to have some space to relax at the end of the day after all the walking and tours were done. The apartment has everything that you need and is a lovely space to stay in. The host was brilliant and provided pictures and full instructions on how to enter the property as well as some great restaurant recommendations. The hot water was a bit hit and miss and the water pressure in the shower a bit low but this is to be expected in some apartments in Rome
- Piret (9/5): Great for family or friends - Nice clean place! Good and fast communiation with owner! Quiet. Nice to sit on terrace. Food store near and also all the sights. Shower water pressure slow.
- Sam (10/5): Great apartment. Super roof terrace. Excellent location. And great host. - Location was brilliant - Around the corner from the Pantheon. Host was really quick to respond with any questions. Apartment is excellent - Large living room / table / kitchen area. Two large rooms (one double bed; two single beds). Roof terrace was gorgeous - Great option when you need to take a break and recharge. Small shop right beside the entrance to the building and stays open until late. There's also a mall carrefour supermarket about 100 metres away. There are two Irish bars within 200 metres of the property, so good alternatives for dinner if you can't eat another bowl of pasta or pizza! FreeNow was a great app in to book taxis to/from airport - About €50-55 from Fiuminco Airport. Not much comes to mind. Maybe the shower could have been better. And clearer instructions on what to do with the rubbish. But these are very minor. (PS If you are staying here, just be aware that the lift is quite small so not ideal if you hate small spaces. And there are also about 10-15 steps between the lift and the front door of the apartment).
- Fredrik (10/5): A great 4 nights stay in Rome with perfect weather, great food, super apartment and best company! - Super good location, close to all spots you want to visit in the city center. Quiet street and close to Carrefour (supermarket). Great living room, two good bedroom with nice beds and two ac. Didn't find instructions where to throw the garbage.
- Anny (9/5): Superb - Excellent location, all the sights are in walking distance. The apartment was very clean when we arrived. Supermarkets and lots of restaurant close by. We stayed for 9 nights and a ligth cleaning, garbage removal and a fresh set of towels would have been well appreciated.
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect location and amazing hosts - The location is perfect for all the attractions. The apartment had everything we needed extra towels, duvets and the kitchen had everything required coffee machine, kettle, glasses, utensils etc. The rooftop terrace is also a lovely addition where we sat late afternoon with a bottle of Prosecco so that was bliss. Shower water pressure is low but expected in older Roman properties
- Scot (9/5): Superb -
- Le (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (5/5): Nice flat, very warm, don’t trust the owner - Excellent location and lovely flat overall AC didn’t work, in Rome in August! When we arrived we were told it was hot because the AC had just been turned on. The fan blew hot for a while never cooling, and the external part of the system on the rooftop terrace never showed any sign of life. By the first evening it had failed entirely. Messaged the owner, but no reply. The same owner was very quick to respond before we arrived asking for an extra €100 in cash when we said there were going to be three of us rather than the two we booked for initially. The whole thing seemed like a stitch up in all honesty.
- Andreas (7/5): Good - Great location, very comfortable beds, quiet. We slept very well. Excellent WLAN. It is very hard to get up the narrow spiral staircase to the roof terrace, especially to bring something to eat or drink upstairs. Also, the view was somewhat disappointing, since the surrounding apartment buildings are higher than the terrace. A few things should be repaired, like the toilet, the bathroom door or the bedroom closet.
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect apartment, close to everything. I would highly recommend. - Fantastic location, very comfortable clean and spacious. the roof terrace is amazing! nothing
