• Beatrice (7/5): A spacious apartment in a convenient location, close to town, marina, beach, bus and shops. - The apartment complex has an excellent location very close to Las Galletas town, seafront, harbour, bus stops and supermarkets and other shops etc. We have previously stayed in another apartment in the same complex and came back to the same location. The grounds were very secure with gates which can only be opened with an appropriate electronic key fob. The apartment was spacious. The decor was nice and the place was spacious, but we felt the apartment was a bit tired. The bed needs replacing: if you sit up in bed the headboard is loose and bangs against the wall if you lean on it; we solved the problem by jamming two cushions behind it. Also the mattress was thin and worn. And the scatter cushions in the bedroom were disgusting: grubby and smelt of hair grease. So provide two clean pillows for each person. Also, please provide a couple of tea towels. We found a small kitchen towel in the bedroom cupboard, but although clean, it was old and discoloured. We bought two tea towels. It should be advised in the details that the balcony is north facing, so no sun at all, not in the winter anyway. The key handover was not great. The person who came with it kept us waiting for 40 minutes, although in fairness he did communicate with us well. But it would be much better to have a key safe and/or an arrangement with the gate keeper/guard and use the apartments' letter boxes which are in the kiosk next to him.
