Guest Reviews
- Amandha (9/5): Great property, highly recommend - The property is centrally located. Several bus stops, including Argentina, are a short stroll away. A taxi from the Roma Termini to the apartment cost us around EUR 16 (day-time). The rooms are spacious, and the apartment has three bathrooms with showers. It’s a cosy place with everything we needed, apart from a microwave and a washing machine. We really liked it. The apartment could be improved by adding a microwave—which was a major drawback for us—and a washing machine. The showers also lacked a soap tray or dispenser, so we had to keep soap and shampoo on the floor, which was inconvenient. This should be easy for management to remedy.
The check-in information arrived at the last minute, which would have been inconvenient if I’d been travelling or somewhere without internet access. They also overcharged us for the city tax, but corrected it as soon as I pointed it out.

אין תיונים, יש קומקום.
צק אאוט מוקדם, אין איפה להשאיר מזוודה
- Jamie (10/5): We had a wonderful time and our host was incredibly helpful! That made it stay much easier! - The location was fabulous! The restaurant downstairs was excellent too! Couldn’t have been happier! Living room is a little small but cute!
- Ariel (8/5): Location is fantastic. Good for a shorter stay - We had the smaller unit and it was comfortable and served its purpose. The location is 10/10 and the staff is also wonderful. Super communicative and helpful. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances and at no fault of the host, we weren’t able to check in until 3.5 hours after check in time due to the property not being cleaned. It would have been better to know beforehand but it wasn’t the host’s fault for the lack of communication. However, the host was helpful and kind and apologetic and assisted us with transfers.

- Joanna (9/5): -
- Federico (8/5): Un po’ datato ma posizione ECCEZIONALE! - Palazzo vecchio e mobilio e struttura un po’ “datati” e non particolarmente curati, ma la posizione attaccata al pantheon veramente eccezionale
- Sylvie (10/5): Great stay at the location. We recommend without any reservation - Fantastic location
Very clean
Great communication

- Ahmad (10/5): - The place was a perfect one for me
Everything was clean and tidy
The owner is super nice and cooperative
The location is PERFECT
The building was a little bit old but this is Rome!
Definitely going back here again when in Rome
- Anthony (10/5): - Location was perfect!
- Deb (10/5): Amazing, - Location was amazing literally at the side of the Parthenon.
Mari was really accommodating and we upgraded to an apartment in the next block for a reasonable price. This facility had a lift and was light and spacious. Beds were a bit too hard,
Stairs to the property was taxing after a day sight seeing
- Claudia (10/5): Sehr schön, optimale Lage -
- Andy (9/5): Had a great time in the heart of Rome, literally next door to the Pantheon. - Gorgeous apartment in an amazing location Nothing
- Mitchell (10/5): Perfect location and a great host - Perfect location N/a
- Fc (9/5): Pantheon’s Neighbour, Minerva’s Embrace - The apartment is exquisitely located — nestled between two charming piazzas and just steps away from the majestic Pantheon, which proudly guards the entrance to the quaint alleyway that leads to the apartment block. As a neighbour, you’ll find none other than the Guardia d’Onore’s headquarters — a subtle yet grand reminder that you are indeed in the very heart of historic Rome.
You cannot get much more central than this. After a delightful dinner and a glass (or two) of vino at one of the many wonderful nearby restaurants, with the Pantheon gloriously illuminated in the background, it’s a true pleasure to stroll just a few short steps back ‘home’.
The apartment itself has been cleverly and tastefully decorated. Antique pieces blend seamlessly with modern comforts, creating an atmosphere that is both timeless and practical — with a distinctly Roman character that adds that certain 'je ne sais quoi'. The walls are adorned with art, enough to give personality but not so much as to overwhelm.
Sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully laid out: two well-sized ensuite bedrooms with double beds (one even more spacious than the other), and an additional sofa bed with a separate shower room located near the entrance and kitchen - a very handy feature if travelling with children or in a group. The linen was clean and fresh.
The kitchen is very well equipped, even though we only made use of the basics. The large fridge is especially appreciated during the warmer months and the presence of three televisions - one in each main space - offers added convenience. A lift is available in the building and the Wi-Fi connection worked well throughout our stay.
The owner (or property manager) with whom I communicated was consistently efficient, responsive, and helpful before, during, and after our stay. All my questions were met with prompt and courteous replies. Something that may be subjective: the approach to the apartment involves a short walk down a quiet alleyway. Personally, I found this part of the charm - a peaceful, safe side street with a lovely restaurant at the end. However, travellers expecting a grand hotel-style entrance may wish to take note. For me, the discreet and authentic setting only added to the apartment’s charm.
- Yah (10/5): Right next to Pantheon! Great location! - Great location – right next to the Pantheon and only about a 10-minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. The apartment has two bedrooms and one shower room, which worked well for us. Just a heads-up: it’s on the 3rd floor (from memory) with no elevator, so it might not be suitable if you can’t carry luggage upstairs. There are a few churches nearby that look plain from the outside but are absolutely stunning inside – worth a look!
- Johannes (8/5): Super central and quiet location in the heart of Rome - highly recommendable - Outstanding location, super responsive host and nice interior. Can highly recommend this place for a couple days in Rome. The city is awesome as well Nothing
- Ximena (5/5): Passable - Location, Check in, very helpful host The Place wasn’t very well kept and for us the beds were kind of hard.
- Ramon (9/5): Beautiful apartment and excellent location to explore Rome - Location and facilities
- Grahame (9/5): Superb - Location was excellent. Host was excellent. It was a little hard to find initially, and the stairs were a challenge.
- Whelan (10/5): Exceptional - Location
- Catherine (3/5): Wonderful location in a wonderful city but I could not recommend this property - Location was excellent and the reason I chose this property The beds were not made up for us on our arrival. The bed linen and towels were left in a plastic bag on each of the beds. For the price i paid for two nights it was the least I expected. However there was a very strong smell of urine in one of the bedrooms which meant we could not use and had to sleep with the window open to get some fresh air into the room.
- Sanja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (9/5): The staff were so helpful and always there to answer any questions. The property was super clean and location was excell - The location was fantastic and staff were so helpful Could hear every little noise from everywhere but I brought earplugs so wasn’t too bad. Also it’s an old house so understandable. Couldn’t connect to internet and couldn’t work the heating but knew if I contacted the staff they would help. Didn’t stay long during the day for it to be bothersome enough to contact them.
- David (8/5): Very good - A fantastic location, right next to the Pantheon. There was no lift, so 4 flights of stairs was challenging!
- Ciaran (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location
- Michel (6/5): Perfect short break in aa great location - The Location is fantastic, couldn't be better, every thing on the door step and easy to find. Good clean modern bathroom. No Lift! 4 flights of slippery marble steps, not what you need when carrying a 20 kilo luggage. Very Small rooms, luckily we were two, therefore we could put our luggage in the second bedroom.
- Judith (8/5): Overall an enjoyable stay which we would do again. - The apartment is in an excellent location, close to everything. It was clean and well-maintained. There was plenty of room for two people. The person who was the host was very helpful and prompt with the few needs we presented via texts. The price was equivalent to similar vacation rentals so it was fair. We would stay there again but on a lower floor. There was no microwave or expresso machine. The washing machine was not working (to be fair, the host was kind enough to have our clothes dry cleaned at their expense which was very nice). We never got to meet the host in person.
- Julie (10/5): Fabulous apartment, great location and very helpful hosts - highly recommend and will stay again. - The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were very comfortable, each had an ensuite with an additional bathroom off the lounge. There is lift access and the location is great - across from the Pantheon and walking distance to the Trevi fountain, the ‘wedding cake’, churches and the Colosseum. Great restaurants around the square 20 metres away. The hosts were really helpful finding us transport on check out day - the Rome marathon was on and the city streets were closed to traffic. Would have been nice to have a kettle and some bottles of water (we boiled a pot of water but I think there was high calcium content which created floaters so we went out for coffee!) and a map of the central city. The washing machine wasn’t working but the host gave us prior notice so that was fine.
- Teresa (10/5): Wonderfully quiet, clean, and best of all centrally located so everything is in walking distance! - Very quiet and central to attractions.
- Susan (10/5): We loved our stay here! - Tastefully renovated historic property updated with modern conveniences. Beautiful blend of old and new. Perfect location on a quiet alley near the Pantheon.
- Linda (7/5): Excellent location - The property was nice, would benefit from coffee machine. There was no wi fi for the duration of our stay, despite being advertised with wi fi. The 4 flights of stairs were challenging after a full day walking . No Wi-Fi
The stairs
- Stefan (9/5): It's good value for money, but need attention to internet and refrigerator off. - The property is very well located, clean and renovated apartment. The hostess was very polite. The internet was not available during the entire period of my stay, it was an item that was greatly missed.
Although not mentioned in the ad description, the property offers a "fridge", glasses and cutlery.
- Christopher (7/5): Great location, elevator, and AC. Mari and property management company does not care to address issue with the property - Location was great. A/C was great. Washer and dryer broke before we arrived. Tried to work with Mari to resolve by fixing it or providing us with a credit to cover laundry services. Mari did not care about the inconvenience for us or the additional al cost as we were taking a cruise out of Rome with a lot of dirty clothes. Booking.com tried emailing and calling the property with zero success. Luckily after 2 calls, Booking.com agreed to reimburse me for the incremental cost of laundering our dirty clothes on the cruise ship. Property (Mari) did nothing and did not care. For $600+ USD per night for 3 nights, you would think they’d care. Future rentals please beware of the lack of customer service.
- Janine (10/5): Wonderful stay in Rome - Beautiful apartment. Very nicely decorated. Very clean. Perfect size for our family of 5. Centrally located right by the Pantheon so easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Beautiful and would highly recommend this apartment.
- Michelle (10/5): Minerva House 2 is a wonderful place to stay. - The location was spectacular! Very quiet & clean apartment ! A small mini fridge would be very helpful!
- Tony (10/5): Absolutley perfect - Best location possible you cant get better.
- Wai (7/5): Good - Great location. The staff, Mariangela, is very kind and helpful, who always respond very promptly. The apartment we stayed has no lift. We only know the day before that we are on the 4th floor. Though the staff kindly offered another place, but we feel that it is too stressful to change the day before as we reach Rome in two batches with different timing.
- Kerrie (10/5): We had a great stay here for our last few days in Italy. We will be back! - Beautifully furnished, light filled apartment in a wonderfully, central location, mere steps from the Pantheon. The apartment had the added bonus of a lift and a very helpful contact Mariangela who was contactable whenever we needed. Highly recommended. Nothing
- Tracy (10/5): Family Apartment in Rome - Fantastic location, great for 2 parents, 1 grandparents and 2 teens. 3 bathrooms was very useful. Amazing location right in the heart of all the action, historic attractions and restaurants, yet just off the main street so it was quiet at night. One of our best meals in Rome was at the restaurant right next to the front door.
Staff was very attentive and answered texts immediately at all hours. Elevator fits only 2 people so it took a couple trips each time we came and left.
- Anna (9/5): We had a great stay! Maybe update your advertisement if some parts of the apartyare not rented out. It wasn’t a big issu - We loved the location! It’s literally next to the Pantheon. The apartment is within an old, authentic Roma building. Very beautiful marble stairs, wooden ceiling. The kitchen was locked and we couldn’t use it even though it was shown in the pictures of the apartment we have booked.
- Campanelli (10/5): Exceptional - This was a wonderful experience. The location is incredible, the rooms are super clean and included all amenities. The hosts were super accommodating and welcoming. Would definitely be staying here again in the future, and I would recommend this place to everyone.
- Julie (9/5): Highly recommended apartment next to the Pantheon - The location of the apartment is truly amazing, right next to the Pantheon. It is very clean and beautifully furnished. Both bedrooms are comfortable with en-suite bathrooms. The small kitchen is a great addition for making tea, coffee and breakfasts. There are two supermarkets very nearby and most sights are within walking distance. The owners of the apartment were helpful and responsive. There was occasional noise from the neighbours during the day, although the nights were quiet. A kettle would be a good addition to the kitchen. Otherwise we liked everything about the apartment!
