Guest Reviews
- Gregory (7/5): Great place and location. - Great location and good size apartment. The ceiling in the living room leaked.
- S. Mimeault (8/5): Séjour à Sydney - Le cachet de la maison, l'emplacement résidentiel et les espaces des pièces. La présence de contamination fongique dans la salle de bain et l'état de la petite cour extérieure.
- Scott (7/5): - Location. Clearners had left pongy old sheets and towels from previous tenants under sink and on verandah.
In ability to cancel booking well in advance of planned stay i.e. 'months in advance'.
- Tracey (6/5): Good location - Location and size Very mouldy and smelly
- Ben (10/5): - Great spot, short walk to the Rocks. Three licensed venues within a couple of hundred metres. Incredible view the second you open the front door.
- Karyn (8/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Would stay again - Clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Beds so comfy we didn't want to get up in the morning. na

- Monica (9/5): Loved it! - Loved the homely feel of the place and the location, good value. The rooms were immaculate and welcoming. Several things could be improved:
In the bathroom, bigger towels, and a bathmat so that no one slips on the wet tiles
In the kitchen, coffee for the coffee maker, at least a small UHT milk in the cupboard. Every thing else in there excellent.
In the main bedroom, a mirror would be nice.
The courtyard could do with a tidy up, weeds pulled up, leaves swept etc.
- Joshua (10/5): -
- Britney (10/5): - Amazing views, had everything we needed including a kitchen
- nathan (8/5): City staycation - Perfect location for both Barangaroo and The Rocks. Clean comfortable accommodation. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom and well equipped kitchen. The metered parking out the front is only for 2hrs and expensive.
No privacy lock on the bathroom and the shower head leaked.
- Deanne (9/5): A great place to stay, larger rooms and good location - Decent amount of space. Loved the bigger master bedroom and large bathroom. Great spaces, loved the colour themed Christmas ornaments too There is mold growing inside silicone around shower base. This needs to be cut out and redone, and the tiles and silicone around the bath also need attention. But apart from that, it was excellent!!
- Julian (10/5): Exceptional value so lose to everything - The owners were exceptionally hospitable, helpful and accommodating. The property had that old historical charm and within such easy walking distance to Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay, train stations, pubs, eateries.
Rooms were big and haf that feel of a bygo e era but.with a.nice modern touch with such a lovely view across the water. We weren't able to stay longer.
- Michael (10/5): It was great, definitely stay there again - Everything it was great - beds were so comfortable No milk in fridge
- West (8/5): -
- Leana (10/5): - Lovely and comfy stays and very comfy beds
- Anthea (8/5): Great location, comfy but could be cleaner - Location is amazing and checkin is very easy. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house was very dusty and the furniture had marks and stains. Though the kitchen was very clean.
- Jodie (7/5): Thanks for a great weekend, we enjoyed our stay - * Location was excellent for our needs
* History of the building
* Beautiful view
* Nice decor * Not enough wine/champagne glasses
* Floor was very sticky
- Helen (6/5): Location was good and the beds were comfortable. - It was well located not far from The Rocks precinct. It was well appointed and comfortable. We couldn’t get any hot water so not able to shower in the morning which was very disappointing. I eas going to turn on the heater in the front bedroom but the front of it was melted so I didn’t turn it on. There was also an overflow of rubbish in the bins outside the group of units where we were which was off putting.
- Maria (10/5): - Estaba todo muy limpio y nuevo. Ubicación inmejorable. Un trato muy agradable. No había wifi o no conseguimos conectarlo.
- Zoe (7/5): - Location was perfect, between the rocks and darling harbour and walkable to both. Having a self contained apartment for a reasonable price considering the location was nice with full kitchen facilities Noisy. The insulation was pretty non existent. Not the fault of the owner due to the heritage nature of the building but prepare to bring your ear plugs!
- Mark (9/5): Perfect location - Location is excellent with good access to Darling harbour and the Rocks. Upstairs apartment a bit noisy.
- Marcus (7/5): Good location and apartment itself was well equipped. - Due to it being an older apartment, it was noisy at times. People coming home late at night and making quite a bit of noise. Apartment upstairs in particular was loud at 2am etc.
- Caryne (7/5): Good - The location and the accommodation were great
Victor was fab, so helpful and easy to get hold of if needed It was quite noisy with folk staying above us
I'd have preferred being in the upstairs apartment as they were super noisy walking about on the laminated flooring
- Monica (10/5): Gorgeous Green Stays - I Loved Green Stays! It's located opposite Barangaroo foreshore and has amazing views. You can sit out on the front verandah and enjoy the sunset across the harbour. The accommodation was comfortable, cozy, modern and clean. It is excellent value for money, and much nicer than staying in a hotel. Felt very much like a home away from home. Victor, the owner was easy to contact and checking in was simple and straightforward. The property is a short walk to the Barangaroo Metro station..and an easy 15 - 20 mins down to Circular Quay.. There was a little noise ( just movement) from upstairs neighbours but it wasn't bothersome
- Monica (8/5): Very good -
- Empower (5/5): nice, but there were temperature issues and the mould growth. I would not recommend. - closeness to the city Mould growing in a lot of places, very unhealthy
- Fleur (8/5): Perfect location for an escape to the city - Green Stays is a well sized terrace house with modern furnishings and appliances. Parking was close by with a 10 min walk into The Rocks or a 10 min walk the other way to Darling Harbour. I didn't receive the email you usually get a day before arrival with the key box code, Wifi password etc which wasn't really a problem in the end, it just meant I had to frequently bother Victor.
- Alexandra (8/5): Very good - Great apartment in an awesome location. We made a last-minute booking due to an issue with our Airbnb and were so pleased to arrive to a nice clean apartment. Our only issue was that the bed mattresses were very soft and we could constantly feel every move the other person made.
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Molly (9/5): Superb - Clean, comfortable and roomy, priced right. Little hard to find, street signs weren't quite right, which isn't really the fault of the property.
- Bill (5/5): Passable . Expensive for no view - What breakfast
- Christine (6/5): Pleasant -
- Eva (9/5): Superb -
- Emily (9/5): I will be staying here again! - That it was clean and comfortable and affordable No coffee or milk
- Violeta (9/5): Superb -
- Jane (8/5): Very good - Beautifully renovated
Great value Very soft bed.
Noise from upper unit
- Nisha (8/5): Very good -
- Fenton (10/5): Great stay - Fantastic location, great views. Walking distance to everything, public transport nice and close.
- Lianne (7/5): Great location . Exorbitant price ( NYE) and no parking .A few repairs needed - the location to the fireworks was excellent The bottom of the bed in bedroom one was broken - o could nt sit on the end of the bed.The parking was not available due to NY eve no cars restrictions in the area. The tap in the kitchen initially sprayed everywhere until we fixed it up
- Sally (9/5): Superb - Amazing location, convenient to walk through The Rocks down to Circular Quay but away from the hustle of those places. Barangaroo metro very close and easy. Had to follow up with how to collect the keys - no info sent through booking.com on how to do this
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Short stay, didn't realise no milk for coffee. The view was lovely. Need to get ubers no public transport. We did know this. The property was comfortable and clean.
- Brad (8/5): It was a good stay - More detail upon booking describing check in checkout policies, cleaning requirements, wifi password, parking and explaining the room number and location more clearly. Any shopping, pubs ect in the area.
- St (8/5): Excellent base to explore the rocks and surrounds. - Location was good for all the activities we wanted to do in Sydney Lots of mosquitoes were in the property when we arrived. Some rubbish in the bathroom was left from the previous guests.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - The location, the views outside the door, the way the apartment is styled. It would be nice if he left a box of tissues and roll of paper towels
- Clarissa (10/5): Exceptional - The room is comfortable, I love the decor and cleanliness as well. The view is spot on! The tap on the kitchen sink is leaking
- Hanyi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (8/5): Nice, great location - Location of property was amazing, place was clean and welcoming. Host was great and was responsive. Place was clean but not spotless, needed a deep clean for example dust of skirting broads, dirty bedroom mirror.
It would have been nice if there was manual on the place for example for the tv and aircon. Neighbours where bit noisy upstairs in the morning.
- Amy (9/5): Superb -
- Tracey (8/5): Very good - Ease of check in and parking at the door There were drops of water coming from the ceiling in the hall way and both bedrooms
- Connie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanya (10/5): Cool clean and comfortable! - Great communications on how to get keys, and welcoming us. A very nice property clean spacious and comfortable, with air con that worked amazingly! We recommend this property as a great place to stay and will book again.
Thanks Green Stays! No, Issues, It had everything we needed!
- Jamie (10/5): Affordable Comfortable and Clean. We loved our stay. - This was a fantastic stay. Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be looking to book again. So easy to access the accommodation. Thank you so much. I hadn’t stayed in accommodation like this before and we didn’t bring milk to have with the supplied coffee and tea. But everything else was great.
- Phoebe (8/5): Very good - The location of Green Stays was terrific. Easy walking distance to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay and the Opera House to name a few.
- Daneill (9/5): Suited us well as a family of 4. - Good size terrace apartment with facilities for a similar price to a hotel room. Excellent location, comfortable beds. Very noisy (Saturday night), cars and people walking past sounded very close. Air conditioner was appreciated and cool, but noisy.

Appliances were great. I appreciate that it is pet friendly as we were able to take our little dog on the mini break, he absolutely loved walking around Barangaroo, The Rocks and into the city.
- Amanda (9/5): Great host and comfy beds. - The host was very responsive by phone to help us get the keys and Wi-Fi sorted when we arrived. Beds very comfortable with lots of pillows.
