- Andreea (1/5): Terrible Experience – Misleading Listing and Unsafe Conditions - I recommend the Andel area, but I don’t recommend this apartment. We booked what was advertised as a 3-bedroom apartment, but what we got was far from it. The "apartment" was essentially an open space with two large beds poorly separated by a curtain hanging loose from the ceiling, and one bedroom upstairs. The photos did not reflect this layout at all and were clearly misleading.
One of the windows was broken, most of the door knobs were loose or falling off, and the beds themselves were in terrible condition. To make matters worse, one night a kitchen cabinet fell directly over the stove while we were cooking with hot oil – it was sheer luck that no one got hurt. The place felt like it was literally falling apart.
Air conditioning was a small mobile unit placed only in the open space, making the entire apartment unbearably hot. We also discovered wet towels stuffed under a curtain in the hallway, which began to emit a foul smell after a couple of days.
The overall cleanliness was unacceptable – spiderwebs, layers of dust, and hair in the bathroom made it clear that no proper cleaning had been done. To top it off, there was ongoing construction in the building, with loud drilling going on for days.
When I contacted the owners about the misleading listing and the serious issues, their response was dismissive. They offered to send a technician, but the problems were far beyond a quick fix – the apartment was deteriorating day by day.
Lastly, there is no river view as advertised, and the location shown on the map is inaccurate. The property is actually across the bridge in a completely different area, with no charm and nothing to do with a riverfront experience.
I strongly advise avoiding this place. It is unsafe, misrepresented, and not worth the risk or the money.
- Maria (7/5): Good - The flat was as described in the pictures. I booked this flat for 8 people, and we ended up in 3. The location indicated on Booking was in Prague 1 (more expensive) but it came out on our arrival day that it was in Prague 5, just the opposite bank of the river. Therefore the advertisement was misleading. There was a back and forth of messages, and I tried to get in touch with the owner, but he hung up on me. There's a poor wifi and only 4 plates, cups and cutlery. So it wouldn't serve the originally planned 8 guests.
- Gina (9/5): Amazing stay but little aspects to improve! - The communication prior to arriving was amazing, queries were always answered quickly. The apartment is around 30 mins away from the airport but we used bolt and it was very cheap. The apartment we stayed in was right at the top of the block which wasn't an issue because there is a lift. The apartment itself was beautiful, it is extremely large and has ample space with two floors. Two double beds on the ground floor with a curtain to split and another double bed upstairs. Bathrooms on both floors. It had everything you could need to enjoy a stay. It gets warm with being at the top of the building and the warm weather but again you are provided with 2 AC units. It is in a good location with being around a 20 minute walk into the main centre. We liked the walk into the centre over the bridge. There are tram stops 5 minutes away and bolts/uber stop right outside the main door. We had the most amazing stay here and we would 100% stay again if we visited Prague again. When we arrived at the apartment it is quite difficult to locate as there is no signs. This is because it is just a block of apartments where other locals probably live so I appreciate it would be difficult to put a sign up but its just to appreciate it is quite difficult to spot.
The shower is a hand held shower only, it could benefit from placing a bracket on the wall at shoulder height so that you could stand under the shower instead of having to hold it. Not a major issue but would be more convenient. When we first arrived there was some questionable people stood outside doing some questionable activities, however they never bothered us and we didn't have any issues throughout our stay, however it made us a bit dubious at the beginning. The door handle on the door to the apartment is broken so this should be fixed. However, it didn't affect the locking of the door.
- Sadzid (8/5): Very good -
- Vita (6/5): Pleasant - Good location The hot water only lasted for a few minutes, making it impossible to fill the bathtub or take a proper shower under hot water. The advertised jacuzzi did not work, even though it was highlighted as a feature in the booking description. One of the toilets was clogged, and the washing machine was broken. Cold air came through the main door due to a large gap between the door and the floor. While the heating worked on the first day, it stopped functioning on the second, leaving the apartment uncomfortably cold at just 18 degrees. The mattresses on the beds were only 5 cm thick, giving the impression of sleeping on hard boards.
- Martin (7/5): All in all, it was good and the problems can easily be improved. - The apartment was very nice. Many trams in a very good reachable distance. Moldau/Vltava-river very near. The address we knew was the wrong one. The correct address was only given to us over the phone when we were standing in front of the wrong one, but it wasn't given exactly for us because the transmission of street names in Czech sometimes doesn't pass letters. Zborovska <-> Borovska (doesn't exist). We later received the address via text message. It would have been better to give the address days in advance. We also had a game of ping-pong over the phone because we didn't have the phone number of the person waiting for us and the doorbell signs on the front door at Zborovska 2 aren't really well labeled.
We were also looking for a three-room apartment. We got an open apartment with two beds, each with a double bed, separated by a curtain and open to the living room and kitchen. Only the third bedroom was separate.
