The road outside was repaired while we were there so future guests don’t need to be concerned regarding that comment in other reviews. Hard to warm the dining/kitchen area. Think the area is too big for the heater in that room - but we were staying in February! All great otherwise and it wasn’t a big deal.

- Zoe (10/5): Dreamy escape in Javea - We loved Villa Lilou, the inside/outside flow was incredible. Any night we ate at the Villa we ate outside. We made use of the bar to make afternoon cocktails and had a drinks fridge. We also loved the easy seperation of "upstairs" and "downstairs" which really worked for our family group. Having more than one en suite was also excellent. A member of our group has accessibility issues and nothing was a bother at Villa Lilou! Lastly the pool is incredible, it's very very deep so always great for cooling off and big enough for several people to enjoy at once. Lastly we recommend having a morning coffee and reading your book in the egg chair at the terrace at the back! All in all loved our stay! Oh and the local restaurants are AMAZING. The location is lovely and peaceful and near some great restaurants and bars but it is a tiny bit far away from the beach and supermarket (only without a car!!) but with a car this would be no issue at all and we'd stay here again even without a car! The only other small note is that the road to the villa, which is very short, has been quite badly washed away and is unsealed for the most part. Again no problem but a taxi doesn't love to pick you up from the front door!
