• Anthony (10/5): We had a truly wonderful stay at the villa. It was spotless, spacious, and in a perfect location just steps from the bea - We had a fantastic stay at this lovely, spacious and spotless villa in an excellent location, complete with a beautiful, impeccably maintained pool. To keep the water crystal clear for everyone, guests are kindly asked not to wear sun cream in the pool, and there’s a convenient outdoor shower for a quick rinse before swimming. The owners explained the pool care on arrival and were thoughtful and understanding throughout. Irina was a pleasure to deal with and even arranged a brand-new hammock for our daughter when the previous one had been damaged earlier in the year - such a thoughtful touch that she really appreciated. Their assistant, Alexander, who came to service the pool, was lovely and very helpful. We had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. In fact, we’re already looking forward to returning next year. Thank you to the whole team! Honestly - nothing at all. We had absolutely no complaints about this villa. Before booking, we were initially a little hesitant due to a past review mentioning a break-in, but we are so glad we went ahead. The property felt incredibly safe and secure throughout our stay. It has a solid double-locking front door, and patio doors that cannot be opened from the outside unless unlocked internally. There’s also a discreet security camera overlooking the driveway - not the pool - providing extra peace of mind without affecting guests’ privacy. The villa is tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac at the back of a private estate, directly opposite a beautiful beach. With a local bar, shop, and the sea all within walking distance, the location was ideal. We would happily return without hesitation.

• Christodoulos (9/5): - We loved it at Villa Sofia! The host was very accommodating to an early check-in and allowed us to have a small pet with us! There wasn’t something that we didn’t like. Mainly everything was good. If I could recommend something it would be to get a bigger/newer TV. But that’s definitely not that important.
• Svetlana (10/5): Wonderful holiday in a perfect setting - This was our best holiday in Cyprus so far! Our family loves Coral Bay and this villa perfectly accommodated our family’s stay. It is spacious and wonderfully arranged. The location is extremely convenient — two beaches are within walking distance, and shops and restaurants are also nearby. Evening strolls in the area were lovely, and there's a bus stop just two minutes from the villa with routes to the Zoo and Paphos. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. Contrary to some older reviews, there is no extra charge for electricity :-) The villa has a beautiful outdoor area and we truly enjoyed our stay. We’re already thinking of coming back next year!
• Lynn (10/5): Should have booked for 2 weeks!!! 😀😀 - OMG How pretty. Lovely fruit trees for welcome shade. The pool was exceptional. Good sized rooms. Showers were good pressure. Very clean villa. Garden is fab with scented plants, which were lovely in the evening. Beds are harder than UK, which is totally standard across Europe, but we slept like logs!! Host went above and beyond, providing a fab contact for airport collection. She even did our grocery shopping! Grateful thanks x Nothing. It was very close to bus stops. Supermarket and only a short walk to a great restaurant.
• Magdalena (6/5): Pleasant - Malfunctioning toilets not flushing proprly. Also, there was a 200 kilowatts limits on electricity use (?!?!?) with 0.3 Euro for each additional kilowatt. What hotel has such charge? Outrageous.
• Kirsty (9/5): Amazing villa and host. Would definitely go back. - After reading the previous review only a week before we were due to go I was worried. I didn’t need to be. Host was just amazing, she allowed our daughter and grandson to join us last minute and went all out supplying toys, cot, rocking horse and high chair even though we hadn’t asked. An aircon in one bedroom stopped working and within 1 hour of letting her know she had sent someone out to fix it. The lime trees had the most amazing tasting limes. Beds were comfortable. Lounge has a great sofa and aircon for the kids to chill out in when it’s very hot. Beautiful beach only a 5 min walk. Main strip is walkable in the evenings for dinner. Yes there are bits that probably need updating but every holiday villa does and it wasn’t anything that would ever stop me from going back there. Location was great, we also had lovely neighbours. The only thing I think people need to be aware of and should be stated in the booking is the electric and air con is payable out of the €250 deposit. Neighbours had a 200kw allowance per week but we didn’t and only got €35 back. This wouldn’t have stopped us booking as a lot of villas do this but I feel it should be made aware of before the free cancellation is up.
• Sophie (1/5): Do not stay at Villa Sofia! - Absolutely nothing. Where to begin, once our free cancellation day had passed 7 days before arrival, we were then told by the owner that air conditioning and electricity is deducted from your security deposit on check out, something I have never heard of before. We arrived to a tired looking villa which stank of stale cigarette smoke (we bought room fresheners, candles etc. to mask the smell) There are no instructions for anything, there isn't even salt & pepper, it is very poorly set up for self catering guests. The beds are possibly the most uncomfortable beds we've ever come across, super cheap. (Like sleeping on a door) The pool is in need of repair and relining, it is discoloured, the steps into the pool aren't fixed correctly. The outdoor furniture is broken. More importantly, this villa is not safe. We were a family including a 2 year old and on the second to last night of our stay, the villa was broken into and we were burgled. All of our valued, personal and treasured items were stolen. We were there for a family wedding and this traumatic experience completely tainted the whole trip. Naturally, we felt extremely violated and unsafe (especially with our 2 year old) and so we decided to leave the villa (in the middle of the night) and book a hotel for our last 2 nights. On return to villa sofia, the morning after the burglary to clean the property and collect our last things, the owner tried to charge us for electricity out of our security deposit, we were disgusted by this lack of compassion. This villa is unsafe, I do not recommend staying here under any circumstances. If you treasure your belongings and want to feel safe & secure along with a sense of value for money then absolutely avoid booking this villa.
• Vicki (10/5): Exceptional - The lemon/lime trees at the property with the hammock and pool was picturesque. The villa layout was great, ensuite in main bedroom, 2nd bathroom for teenage boys and good bedrooms. Host Irina was lovely and answered any queries straight away The main bedroom mattress was stained, felt housekeeping could have done a bit more.of a thorough job throughout the villa
• Ligita (10/5): Dreamy relaxing time under the lemon trees - Everything was more than perfect! very spacious accommodation, clean, comfortable beds and amazing huge sofa! pool was warm, clean and mixed depth so perfect for kids and adults. we loved chilling on the sun loungers under the lemon trees next to the pool! Property is 5 minutes walk to the sandy beautiful beach, grocery shops and few bars 10 mins away, a bit further away but walkable coral bay main street. Quite, relaxing atmosphere and incredible value for money! highly recommend nothing
