- Caroline (9/5): 1st experience at an Albergue which gave me confidence to stay at more in the future - I loved the communal dining
- Tracy (8/5): Very good, very nice staff but thete were no towels in the private room -
- Ignacio (6/5): -
- Eva Maria (10/5): - La limpieza, el cuidado en cada detalle y la chica de los desayunos que ha sido encantadora.

- Andrew (10/5): - Amazing, beautiful room. Traditional decor with a lovely en suite. Just stunning. Little disappointed with the breakfast. Only paid €3 each, but hoped for more than a slice of white bread, a yoghurt and instant coffee.

- Anonymous (9/5): Charming, cozy room with great private bathroom. - Charming, cozy room with beautiful dark wood and antique furniture. Great facilities like sink and shower. No complaints.
- Russel (7/5): Good -
- Lise (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (8/5): The private room was nice. - Staff were great, unique easy place to stay. Bit of noise from the room above.
- Delila (10/5): Again, the place was really delightful and I would encourage other travelers/pilgrims to visit! - The property was VERY charming with its attention to detail being early 20th century. I loved the little sitting alcoves with windows. Room was very cozy and comfortable! Seeing other guests enjoying home cooked meals in the evening, I was disappointed that I did not know that was available. And that a breakfast was available as well. I would have certainly requested and thoroughly enjoyed that extra service. Was not informed at check-in.
- Meliea (8/5): Enjoyable - Good location, friendly staff, wonderful dinner.
- Therese (9/5): Superb - Bed was comfortable, host was welcoming and it was on the camino. Close to a lovely, reasonably priced restaurant. All was faultless
- Lina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Damir (7/5): Ok for one night stay at the Camino - Friendly staff/reception (speaking English), very interesting, non-generic and rustic furniture in the pension, clean and comfortable. Good that albergue facilities can be used. Next to a very noisy street (lots of loud traffic for such a minor road and small village), difficult to sleep with open windows. The included breakfast is underwhelming.
- Ellen (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (9/5): Excellent choice! - Adorable room in old building. Very comfortable bed and pillow. Great shower with a stool! Right on the Camino.
- José (5/5): Albergues is not for my standards. I will no stay in any albergue in the future. - The room are old and not good smells.
- Anthony (8/5): Very good - Very helpful staff, close to restaurants and food shops and right on the Camino Heating?
- Diana (5/5): OK, good to have a kitchen. - Private room in an albergue had a kitchen and private bathroom. It was good to havd a kitchen. The lady who checked us in was lovely and helpful. There was no internet and there was a smell of damp. It was expensive in comparison to other places on the Camino.
- Elia (6/5): Unable to sleep due to traffic. - Proximity to town. Proximity to the main road.
- Danny (7/5): Good -
- Mark (7/5): Easy stay . - Good location for Camino travelers.
- Carla (9/5): Nice stop on Camino Norte - Comfortable room with good wifi. Albergue has a washer. Basic pilgrim private room, yet comfortable. All good
- Brian (5/5): Passable -
- Susan (7/5): Good -
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed in the “Deluxe Queen Room” on site. It is in a different building but attached to the Albergue. You get the best of both worlds with a very nice, clean, private room expected from a hotel and awesome camaraderie and amazing food (cooked by the hosts for a small price) above and beyond the average albergue. Everything was perfect! Nada
- Richard (7/5): Quirky - As soon as you step inside the front door it is as if you are stepping back in time. The house and rooms are furnished as a museum, although you can see that there has been tremendous attention to detail in how the lighting is configured and other modern touches.
The pension is run by the adjoining Albergue. They were able to do a quick turnaround on some laundry which was much needed. it’s on the main road so a bit noisy. Ok when I visited but in summer I would go for a room at the back.
- Gail (5/5): Over-priced for a noisy room in a very small town. - The room was nicely appointed and clean. They offered dinner and breakfast. it was right on the Camino del Norte Despite requesting a quiet room, my room was right on a very busy and noisy road. Large trucks were passing through all night, and there was no sound-proofing or double glazing so I had no sleep.
I also felt that it was over-priced - at over Eur 50 for a noisy room.
And lastly, in the morning I was “locked out” of the main area where breakfast was available. I was given no instructions or code, and stood outside for over 15 minutes waiting to be let in (the owner did not respond to my ringing the doorbell or my phone calls). It was only due to another guest that I was able to get in.
- Brian (8/5): Very good -
- Gill (10/5): Exceptional - The pension and the room had lots of character and was very clean and comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful. it was great to be able to do the laundry and we much appreciated being able to have a cold beer.
- Cassandra (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (7/5): all good - clean and bright. comfortable shower and bed. all good
- Tim (3/5): Poor - Good location Person at front desk tried to charge me twice, couldn't consistently access hot water, room was badly soundproofed so could hear guests in other rooms snoring at night
- Michael (8/5): Very good - The staff were brilliant.
- Emma (7/5): perfect for Santiago walkers or a necessary half way stop on a trip but not a vacation place - THE place is perfect for Santiago Way walkers I think, as its on route and provides solid meals in the evening. But it is on a main road and the traffic whizzed by all night. its an ugly village with nothing to see or do, few places to get food or drink. for us it was near the Playas Catedrais and it was just one night so it was ok. The rooms are pretty and very traditional, clean and nice. The two ladies who run the place are not especially friendly but they keep a clean place and good food at least
- Jordi (9/5): Super cozy - The place was extremely cosy and well-put. The room seemed a lovely studio with a shared kitchen and a bathroom.
- Diana (6/5): To be honest, we couldn’t wait to leave. We are in our 60’s and they gave us bunk beds! it was horrible - The location was on the Camino They gave us bunk beds!
