The bed was so comfortable…slept better than in my own bed. Great kitchen facilities and loved all the little things included. Thanks for the chocolate and snack basket too! Terri was so helpful - communicated well and even gave us tips via sms on things to do in the area and recommendations for places to eat out as well. Absolutely nothing.

• MARTYN (10/5): A perfect stay in Armidale. - The Stables is a beautifully presented cottage which is clean and very comfortable. Terri the host did offered every assist possible to make our stay perfect. The Stables is perfectly located on the edge of town and I recommend the property to anyone needing accommodation in the Armidale area. There is nothing at all to dislike. It’s a perfect place.
• Lyndon (9/5): Wonderful place to stay - Had everything you could expect and more including lovely little tables and chairs under a massive nut tree frequented by native birds. Warm hosts who helped with everything from dinner suggestions to recommendations to fix a tyre puncture. Private and beautiful. We will be back

It’s comfortable and just what I needed after a very long day on the road and work. Had a quick bite at a local pub only 5mins or so down the road and a great night sleep. She's a lovely host, very welcoming and very generous - all the trimmings, as well as complementary drinks on arrival. I will come back any day - best air bnb experience I've ever had! Terri was very welcoming and there if we needed anything but left us alone to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the cottage and its surrounds. The attention to detail and the homely touches made this place a great choice for our overnight stay but you would be also very comfortable for a longer stay. The wonderful comfortable bed was also a bonus.

A car would be beneficial for this location though a public bus does go past. The property was exceptional. • Alison (10/5): A hidden gem. - This is an absolute gem. It’s comfortable, clean and in a lovely setting. The hosts are so welcoming and have considered everything you might need. You can unwind on the attached deck looking over the garden or sit in the living area with the TV. The kitchen is very well equipped with supplies of the little extras you need when traveling (oil, herbs, salt & pepper etc). It’s a little walk into town but worth it for such a special place.

The location is up the hill from the town and is quiet. The Stables opens to a large beautiful garden and a deck with chairs and table. The wifi router in the room gives impressive speed. There is cooking facilities, washing machine with full line outside. Bed was very comfortable, Nothing

It was very tastefully set up and excellent for self catering. Our sleep was perfect due to a very comfortable bed and the location in a quiet residential spot. Terri was a friendly and attentive host and she gave us spot on advice for the best place for coffee and pastries for the road ahead.

• Donna (10/5): Beautiful accommodation with a lovely host. - The Stables was a delightful place to stay. The cottage is located in a very quiet area not far from Armidale city centre. The host Terri gave us a very warm welcome. The Stables had everything we needed for a short stay. The accommodation was cozy and warm and the bed comfortable. Everything was spotless and of a very high standard and the deck area at the back was great for watching the local ducks while enjoying a coffee. Highly recommended. We look forward to staying again when we next visit Armidale. Nothing.

• Phil (10/5): Serenity - It was a beautiful place for a peaceful overnight stay. The back deck was so beautiful and the garden was lovely. Just a wonderful place to spend the night or longer. The bed was excellent and the decor was great. Away from the main road a couple of streets so there was no traffic noise. We will stay there again when we are back down that way.

• Christine (10/5): Perfect couples retreat in leafy Armidale. - Everything was fantastic. The Stables are a beautifully appointed cosy self contained accommodation perfect for a couple. Full cooking facilities but also close to many dining venues. The host Terri was super friendly and helped us with ongoing travel arrangements. Relaxing on the back patio enjoying a late afternoon drink surrounded by old world trees and a menagerie of bird life was an ideal end to the day. Having to leave 😢

It gets cold in Armidale overnight so the electric blanket was very welcome. It is a little bit out of town so you will need a car to go anywhere. This was not an issue for us on this trip but sometimes it can be nice to park the car and walk to dinner. We cooked in the kitchen.

The Stables is clean, luxuriously equipped and comfortable. The neighbourhood is quiet. Best quality / price ratio we had in Australia. The really only bad point is the distance to downtown and the absence of any shop nearby.
