- Kate (7/5): Good - Location on the river Arno in a nice area of Florence. Spacious lounge and kitchen- nice retreat from the crowds in the town. Large couch and separate kitchen and dining tables.Windows could open onto street. Air-conditioning worked in lounge room. Host very friendly. Bathroom very small, shower easily flooded floor, difficult to air and keep dry and clean with a curtain on the floor getting wet. Needed to request more towels as they became very soaked in bathroom. Clutter in the bathroom and appartment. Tea and kettle in lounge room. Many personal items in apartment/ hippy decor ( but it’s fine). Stairs to apartment and 20 min walk to Ponte Vecchio may be an issue for some travelers- ok for us.

She went infinitely beyond what was required even driving us to the train station rather than us booking a taxi, but refusing to accept any payment. Very responsive to any questions. Very spacious and well equipped apartment. 10/10 but would give 10+++ if it was possible. Nothing
