De douche is een probleem: de kop lekt aan alle kanten en blijft ook niet stabiel staan maar draait constant weg.

• Koch (10/5): This place is fabulous in every way. - This place was SPECTACULAR!! Everything about it was 10/10: location, layout, details, little touches. Hosts were communicative and friendly. Property was easy to find and access. Location can NOT be beat. So reasonably priced and plenty of space. Even the bedding was super! Enough space and equipment in the kitchen to make a feast though the place is surrounded by the best food. This place looked great to begin with and far exceeded my expectations. That I couldn’t stay longer :) (because I was going somewhere else, not because of availability)

The bed was very comfortable, but the couch was very firm. Given the neighborhood that it is in, it can be rather noisy at night on the weekends. Overall, would recommend this place.

• Brandon (7/5): - Lock box retrieval of keys was easy and great. Located within the second entrance so it’s safe and convenient. The location of the Airbnb itself was in a prime location in the east village which made it easy to get to places either walking, subway or taxi. The studio had just enough space to not be on top of each other. The restroom and shower are really small and across from each other. I was especially upset about the toilet/water closet. It was a tight squeeze and me being talk did not help. I don’t even think an average human is capable of comfortably using the toilet unless they’re the size of a toddler. Luckily, I was just there for a one night stay… I don’t think I would’ve been able to handle staying there for more than one night/day mainly due to the restroom layout out. If you’re staying in the studio, be aware that the space outside of your studio (kitchen, washer, fridge) is communal except for the toilet & shower.

• Jenna (1/5): - Do not recommend this property. When my friends and i arrived, it immediately smelled like feces. When we entered there was sewage filling up in the shower with feces in it. The owners of the property had been very responsive, but when we told him about this, we suddenly stopped hearing from him. It’s now a week later, and I’ve barely heard back from him. He has not refunded me despite my request so I am having to go through booking customer service to do so. Would not recommend staying here since there was feces in the shower, and even if it has been cleaned, it needed to be sanitized and bleached- which i doubt he would have done given his responsiveness and lack of support up until now.

• Pello (7/5): Paseando por New York - La ubicación del apartamento es buena en pleno East Village, el metro es accesible y si quieres caminar es un buen punto de partida. La comunicación con el anfitrión ha sido muy buena. El wifi funciona muy bien y las camas son realmente cómodas. El anfitrión respondió rápidamente a nuestras comunicaciones. Han sido días muy fríos, la calefacción no funcionó bien en algún momento pero el anfitrión nos indicó cómo compensarlo con los aparatos de aire. Nuestro avión salía tarde y pudimos dejar las maletas después del check out. Globalmente ha sido una buena experiencia. El acceso al apartamento, son escaleras lo cual es asumible, pero especialmente empinadas. Para una estancia de una semana el apartamento está equipado pero quizá el fuego de la cocina podría ser más eficiente y estaría bien una smart TV para acceder a una red de TV más amplia.

• Sergio (10/5): Amplio, cuidado y barrio tranquilo - Es una buena zona para alojarse, tranquila, el área del Bowery y Noho, el apartamento está muy cuidado, con una zona para cocina amplia y con utensilios para todo. Hemos despertado contentos cada mañana preparando nuestro desayuno y dándonos una buena ducha. Es grande para lo que se encuentra normalmente en NY y todo funcionaba bien, como digo está bastante cuidado. Realmente nada, no tuvimos ningún problema y no nos faltó nada.

• Stephanie (9/5): Amazing value for a HUGE Deluxe 2-level 2-bedroom Townhouse! - Amazing value! Huge space! We stayed in the Deluxe 2 Bedroom and it was perfect for our family. Two floors with a large footprint for New York! Large lower level with two couches, kitchen & kitchen table, and a HUGE full size bathroom. Upper level has two bedrooms, one with a full size en suite bathroom. Plus a roll away twin and underbed pull out mattresses (on wheels). Love the no contact check in, with easy entry. Location was perfect for us - literally across the street from our main reason for coming to New York. And don't miss the tiny flower on the corner! Be ready for a steep flight of stairs to the shared kitchen area (also where the studio room is located). We are adventurers so didn't mind! After that the stairs were normal & carpeted. When you enter the Deluxe 2 Bedroom, you go up the 3rd flight of stairs. Worth the climb up for the townhouse!

• Cassidy (10/5): It was a wonderful place to stay and the host was very responsive and helpful. - The property was very centrally located to subway stations and the majority of activities we wanted to do during our stay. The bathroom and shower were small, but this was expected as it was described in the listing and other reviews. The shower was reasonably sized, but the area when you exit the shower was small.
• Frank (4/5): Overall, just disappointed in the misrepresentation of the space. It was clean. The bedroom area was - The greatest issue is that several things in the listing are not explained or are not depicted accurately. Therefore, I would not have booked this place had I known the following: The stairs leading into the to the building, and then up to the first floor were very very narrow and steep and not well maintained. There were no photos it was a surprise to see. The toilet was extremely small with no room to fit your legs or feet while sitting on it. You had to sit on an angle, which was absolutely absurd. The shower area was also extremely tight no real room to stand anywhere comfortably. Lastly, the listing says “private bathroom” but both the bathroom and the shower are off a public area. The listing does not specify whether or not the shower is private. We saw a “first floor use only” sign on the bathroom, but no such sign on the shower and there is nothing to stop other residents of the building from using the toilet or the shower. If this had been explained more clearly in the listing, I would have gone in with a better understanding of the arrangements. Otherwise I may not have booked the unit at all. You can see this by the attached photos.

• Jennie (8/5): Clean and cozy place to stay in East Village - plan for a smaller place but it works. - The location was perfect and central to bars, restaurants, coffee shops, subway stations and more. The bathrooms were pretty tiny.

The place was clean Good walking distance to Broadway, restaurants and shopping. The steep steps coming in. It was very difficult with the luggage. The sofabed, I wouldn't recommend counting on as a bed. It blocks the door to to other room and it's very uncomfortable to sleep on. Showerhead needs to be changed. A little bit expensive for what you get.

"private" bathroom consisted of a common/shared area connecting a separate toilet, a separate shower and a separate bedroom. Super steep stairs. Toilet is not usable by someone who is either big or over 6' tall.

Easy access to subway station (5 to 10 minutes walk). We booked the duplex which had large and comfortable kitchen and sitting areas, great for relaxing after a busy day sight-seeing. Air conditioning could do with upgrading as street noise meant impossible to sleep with windows open

Yes, you share a kitchen but with so many great places to eat nearby, who needs a kitchen? • Thayer (9/5): This place was great for our family of four! - Great location, easy access, I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Manhattan. There are some stairs, so you have to be a little able-bodied.
• Ivana (1/5): Didn’t stay. - DO NOT DO NOTTTTTT book this property. We arrived only to find out that it’s a shared house literally the owners residence. There’s no privacy it is NOT a 2 bedroom apartment it’s 2 rooms in their home. They have refused a refund even though I booked 1 hour before arrival for 2 days and left the property in 5 mins of arrival. There is no refund no apology they just straight out rob you and ignore all contact. I had to spend twice as much to book a hotel as it was a last minute flight issue due to the war. Never seen such immoral people. They are actively refusing to give me a refund they said and I quote “we will have to clean it since you entered the property”. I was there for a total of 5 mins in shock and I have the uber receipts with timestamps to prove it. Insane. The fact that it’s in their house and they refuse to refund anyone that needs a 2 bedroom “apartment” instead of 2 rooms in someone’s home. So messed up.

• Dustin (1/5): Bad - The location was decent. The listing is extremely deceiving. The pictures show a kitchen in the apartment but we found out upon arrival that this is not the case. The kitchen that is available for you, had a man in his underwear standing in the kitchen on multiple occasions. There was also at least supposed to be a microwave in our room but there was not. We had looked at hotel rooms before booking this place, but decided to spend extra for this apartment. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. Renter beware, the nice pictures you see listed, may not be what you get.

• David (1/5): If youre spending $250 on a single room thats non-refundable, its best to look for a hotel. - The only single reason to book this property would be the location and the ease of getting keys, they are in an unlocked areas when you enter the building in an easy to use lockbox. The photos of the room(s) look great online. What you request ends up not being what you finally get. The bedroom is separate from the shared space kitchen. In order to use the bathroom its in the kitchen, small toilet in one corner closet and shower in another closet under the stairs by the kitchen sink. Inconvenient, no privacy and too small of a space to actually use easily. The room is quiet but you can easily hear your neighbors above you if there are guests in that unit. No elevator in the walk up building. Safety and Security: The front door does not latch or close entirely. The door to the living areas does lock but the stairs are almost vertical making it very difficult to carry suitcases up. All windows in the unit are sealed shut except the windows in each of the bathroom and the shower closet. Windows are covered in plastic and all edges around windows and cracks are sealed with spray foam. I don't think this building has been inspected by the city for accommodations. The bedroom has old furniture and an old rug that is all mismatched. Looks like all the furniture came from your old college dorm room and thrown together calling it 'comfortable'.

The kitchen was a share kitchen which we thought was part of our apartment so this needs to be put in the advert somehow. You might mention stairs as they were a challenge for us oldies. I can’t say if it was value for money as this was our first time in New York which I knew was expensive.

It is clean and you have everything you need. Don’t expect anything spectacular but really value for money, considering the high prices of NYC. The only thing I have to let’s say complain about is that the host send us a coupon for Lyft-Uber and by the time I tried to use it during my stay it was already used.
