Guest Reviews
- miguel angel (8/5): -
- Zoé (8/5): - Great location, spacious. Basic, but it’s everything you need. Great communication with the host.
The washing machine had broken and they immediatly organised for our clothes to be laundered and covered the cost which we really appreciated
- Aaron (6/5): Location great, amenities lacking. Recommended for quick trips but not extended stays. - Location is absolutely amazing and can’t be beat. We walked everywhere in Rome and came back to a great nightlife. The apartment is very nice, except for the bathroom. It is old, outdated, and the shower was covered in mold. It was tolerable for a very short stay but ultimately very off putting. The shower curtain is gross and doesn’t keep the water in the shower, which pools in the bathroom corner and creates a big puddle.
The air conditioners don’t blow cold air, but opening the windows for an hour before bed helped a lot.
The washing machine was broken so I couldn’t wash anything, and I didn’t find out it was broken until after I bought laundry soap at a store nearby. The apartment did not have any laundry soap.
The host asked us to take the garbage out before checking out (not a big deal generally) except we had to take it about 6 blocks away, and he asked me to leave it on the ground in front of a business. Maybe that’s standard in Rome but it felt a bit strange leaving a bag of garbage on the street at 6 am.
- David (8/5): Great apartment in a bustling area. - Great location
Spacious & comfortable.
Very clean.
Well equipped kitchen. Bath tap only gave warm water. Shower & sink was fine though.
No bags provided for rubbish bins.
No mirror in the bedroom.
- Rodrigo (6/5): Overall, the apartment was poorly maintained, unclean, and very disappointing. - The location Our experience was very disappointing. The shower is in terrible condition — the water can’t be regulated and the pressure is just a tiny trickle, making it extremely uncomfortable to use.
The floors were very dirty (our socks turned black), the apartment smelled bad, and overall cleanliness was lacking.
We also informed the host in advance that we would arrive at 6:30 PM, but they didn’t show up until almost 7:00 PM despite being notified ahead of time.
The property needs much better maintenance and cleaning. I would not recommend staying here as it is.
- Svitlana (9/5): -
- Joris (7/5): great location - The location and space is good. Not too noisy and good check in! Nice living room and in the midst of Trastevere The bathroom is quite old and shower head too. It had a scary elevator
- Svetlana (10/5): - Beautiful apartment in an amazing location. Clean, comfortable and the host was very responsive and helpful.
- Clarke (8/5): -
- Jenny (8/5): Accommodation was perfect for exploring Rome. We could easily walk to most iconic sites or hop on a tram and bus close - Great location. Spacious. Easy access from public transport. Sound proofing worked well. Air Conditioning struggled in the heat.
- Hollee (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location and Matteo was wonderful and very helpful. The apartment was comfortable, clean and in a great central location.
- Laura (8/5): Overall we had a very nice stay and enjoyed being in a residential area. - we really enjoyed the Trastavere neighborhood and living in a residential area, lots of restaurants, shopping, close to sites.
Our flat was very comfortable, a decent size for 3 ppl. Our view out the windows were amazing. It was difficult to meet up with person with keys to let us in. Communication wasn't great.
The sofa bed in the living room was very uncomfortable and broken and seriously needs to be replaced.
It was folding in on itself making it difficult to get a good sleep and the cushions were supporting it to keep
it from falling on the floor. It was a noisy neighbourhood lane that settled down very late at night but earplugs
did the job.
- Heather (6/5): Great location but facilities let it down - We loved the location and the space. It was very comfortable. Dishwasher broken.
Washing machine faulty with wrong instructions. Couldn't be used.
Mould in shower.
Extremely loud noise in the kitchen.
- Ruth (10/5): Would 100% recommend and also book again.felt very comfortable - Loved the layout. Felt really comfortable and ‘at home’. Location was perfect. Lovely to have a bath as well. Great views out the window. N/A
- Dimitri (8/5): Just what you need in Rome for sharp price - Great location
Appartment has everything you need
Appartement is quite large
Good value for money A few smalll items that easily can be impoved:
Our recmmondations:
Humidity spots in bath room
Freezer too icy so door did not close well
Missing a place to hang your coat when you come in
Do not expect a modernly decorated place but for us it was more than sufficient
Provide two set of towels for stays longer than 3 days instead of one pp that we received
- Jillian (8/5): Very good -
- Christina (8/5): Very good - Although in a busy location, not much noise heard inside the apartment. Had everything we needed for our 8 night stay. The shower! Both tap and shower head need replacing or fixing.
- Jenny (9/5): Had a great 3 days stay in Rome - Great location Trestevere is a great place to stay close to all sights. Lungaretta was perfect for us and close to some great restaurants and a couple of steps to the best real ice cream. Would recommend. The steps up to the apartment. The building does have a lift but very tiny.
- Irene77 (7/5): Lovely apartment in the middle of Trastevere. - The apartment lacks a few supplies: dishwasher tablets, extra tea towel, no real blanket to put on the bed, hairdryer did not have adapter and can only be used in the kitchen ;-(
- Niels (7/5): Lovely - The Trastevere neighborhood is just absolutely charming. The apartment war a bit "run down" - nice and clean. But could do with a renovation.
- Shoshbec (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect , apartment is in a nice and clean building. I felt safe and very comfortable.
- Louise (8/5): Ideal spot for exploring Trastevere - Awesome location- right in the heart of Trastevere which we loved. Noisy aircon in main room.
- Mohammed (7/5): Good - Location was good, was a decent place Nothing I think its a good choice for friends
- David (10/5): Amazing apartment in the heart of the action in Trastevere! - The hosts were super accommodating! Our travel to Rome was delayed due to trains & taxis, but they waited patiently and did not rush to show us around once we arrived. Very happy with the service!
- Elisa (8/5): Fantastic location, spacious, clean apartment that is excellent for tourists in Rome. - The location is excellent. It is very easy to walk to most top sight seeing destinations in Rome. The Neighbourhood is fantastic for restaurants, bakeries and some shopping. The apartment is spacious, clean, and the kitchen is well equipped, and the bed mattress is good. The pillows for the bed were very uncomfortable, there were not sufficient bath towels for our stay and there could be more of the basic supplies… ie, guests should not need to buy bathroom basics.
- Tatjana (10/5): Exceptional - Very kind welcome from the host. We received a lot of advices and instructions regarding what to see and visit in Rome. Accommodation is verry good. It is in an excellent position. We reached all important locations easily and quickly. The apartment is well equipped. The bed was comfortable which meant a lot to us after a full day of walking.
- Becky-jo (9/5): Fun time in a fun neighborhood. Great location! - The living room and bedroom were great. The WiFi wasn’t too good anywhere but the living room. If you’re a light sleeper, the neighborhood might not be best as it’s lively at night.
- Ana (10/5): fabulous location, spacious, clean and quiet place - will come again! - absolutely perfect location, spacious, clean and comfortable place. this was our second stay and would definitely come again! there is no noise at all thanks to double windows although it is in the heart of TRastevere. nothing special to remark, maybe the shower could work a bit better, but everything was perfect
- Dani (8/5): Very good - Location
- Denise (9/5): Superb - Ideal location to explore Rome
It has all the facilities (functional & well-equipped kitchen, ironing facilities) Apartment located on 3rd floor (small lift available though) - however it was only a slight nuisance.
- Pantani (7/5): Good -
- Merinda (8/5): Very good - Great location, good size, double windows kept street noise to a minimum.
- David (4/5): Could have been much better. - The location is truly amazing, and the space is large. While the apartment itself has lots of potential, it must be updated or at least cared for much better.
First, and most importantly - it was not very clean. There were ants, and the whole apartment felt dirty. The air conditioner barely works and the shower creates a huge pool of water on the floor when using as well. The wifi is not very good either. The kitchen is nice, but could be better stocked as well. However the cleanliness is the biggest issue. I have never left a negative review, but I am doing this because there is so much potential here that is unfortunately squandered.
- Bjørn (9/5): Could be so much better with a little effort. - Very nice location. Nice apartment. The shower was not working. We managed to get it working by using pliers (which we had to buy). The host was unable to fix this during our four nights stay. The air conditioning was nearly not functioning and made a lot of noise in the central unit.
- Shaun (9/5): Would stay there again. Perfect for a tourist in Rome. Very well situated in vibey area. - Location was great and the apartment was cool and well appointed The shower tap kept falling off the wall and I had to request towels
- Imogen (9/5): great location, easy to use and comfortable apartment that was roomy - location, had everything needed, comfortable sofa bed shower tap was a bit awkward
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gloria (7/5): Good -
- Karolina (8/5): would recommend, great value - great area - close to all the bars and restaurants, very helpful owners the bedding was changed but the duvet didn’t have cover and had visible stains on it
- Daniel (7/5): Some improvements are needed - The location is good. Very close to Vatican city, right in Trastevere where you could find lots of restaurants, cafes, bakery and historical sightseeing.5min walk there is bus station and 15min away subway.Nice kitchen. The sofa bed in the living room is old and, very, very uncomfortable for a sleep. The sheets and pillows were old and also uncomfortable.
The toilet bowl was a bit dirty, needs to be changed!
A part of the shower was broken and there is not very nice smell in the bathroom
- Abbas (9/5): Superb -
- Malak (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice place, clean house perfect location and very good service! Area is so alive and cozy !
- Shirley (7/5): lovely apartment, just needs to be better maintained. - location and spaciousness many things were broken or didn’t work such as:
shower tap
dishwasher
kitchen sink plug
- Antonio (9/5): Had a very nice stay at Lungaretta 3 - Very clean and spacious Hard to take shower without getting water all over floor
