• Strong (8/5): Met our needs for visiting the town - Right in the town of Westport. Nothing.
• Carol (8/5): Handy place to stay in Westport for an excellent price. - It is a good location in Westport. Forno’s bakery is beside it to get a coffee, snack or lunch. The motel rooms are newly renovated and very clean. The heat was turned up high in December so room was a bit hot. There is a thermostat to turn it down so not a big problem.

• Johanne (1/5): … - Location was good. Our room smelled like poop. My husband is a builder and checked the drain in the bathroom. The gasses from the septic were coming up because the pea trap was dry. The gasses were so bad that we opened all of the windows because my husband was getting dizzy. He poured water down the drain and the smell after quite a while dissipated. It was a time for us to get away and relax and that is not what happened.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Wonderful little spot on the Island to stay! - A very well maintained motel, very clean, great air conditioner. Bathrooms were clean and spacious, internet and TV worked well. The bed was very comfortable and the mini fridge freezer kept our icepacks frozen +++ The grounds around the motel are lovely. I would definitely stay here again. No complaints, very happy with everything.

• Ann (7/5): A pleasant, clean little motel. - The room rate was reasonable and the room clean. The bed was very comfortable. I wasn't able to use the wifi as the login information was not accurate and it wasn't written down in the room anywhere. Having a typed chart in the room would eliminate login information confusion. However, that is quite minor. Travelling alone as a female requires the utmost attention to security. The room had only a doorknob lock that I could break into with a the sleight of a credit card (I didn't actually do this) and no security chain. The rooms, especially being exposed directly to the outside motel-style, should absolutely have a deadbolt lock. Other than that, the motel was quite pleasant.

• Hudson Sistas (9/5): - The location was perfect for what we were doing in Westport (Cove Inn)!!! Well...from a woman's point of view a full length mirror by the sink outside the bathroom would make applying make up much easier and to be able to check clothes would be nice!!!

• Martin (9/5): Clean, quiet, friendly welcome. A great value in a lovely place! - The woman who greeted me at reception was wonderful, professional & friendly. This little motel is quiet, clean, the rooms are newly renovated, with a full selection of satellite TV options. Close to downtown and the lake. Great value for money. I'd go back! Nothing! I know that's hard to believe, but it completely suited my needs. Stayed 2 nights while kayaking in the region.

It's nice to see the little motels being brought back. The young lady that looked after us very polite and knowledgeable about the area. Thanks very much.

• Susan (7/5): Comfortable for an overnight on the way to somewhere else. - The motel was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Not grand luxe but we were not expecting that. They had a nice outdoor area with BBQ's and chairs. There were only two pods of coffee for the machine (Keurig) and the office was not open at 8 am to ask for more.

You have to wait for the hot water -5 mins. The TV has minimal channels. None of these issues were that important to me but the lack of a dead bolt nay be for some.
