- Judy (7/5): My stay was fine, but I was disappointed based on photos and reviews posted. - The location is great. Short walk to Lepanto and to Ottaviano metro stops and close to buses. The person who met me for check in was there and on time. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The sofa was uncomfortable for sitting. There was no hot water for 3 mornings. The noise from supermarket deliveries was substantial. My check in was a disappointment...the person who checked me in was not able to give me instructions on the air conditioners and the washing machine. She also charged me double for the Rome tourist tax, even tho I explained that I was one single person.
- Stuart (8/5): Lovely stay nice apartment , felt very safe with good security . - The area was nice quiet but had shops bars and restaurants , close to the Vatican city . A little further from the other major sites .
- Prague (9/5): Luxurious apartment near the Vatican - There is a lot very positive about this apartment. The setting is wonderful, it's very handy for public transport, there's a supermarket over the road, it was, for the centre of a city, pretty quiet at nights. The apartment is large, with a substantial living room and a large bedroom and a lovely bathroom. The kitchen area is small, but well-stocked. The wifi was good, the air-conditioning worked well. There is plenty of storage room. It's about a ten minute walk to St Peter's, and less to the nearest Metro stations (Lepanto or Ottaviano), but also possible to walk over the Tiber into the historic centre. The people who run it were very helpful when we contacted them, and when we needed something, they sorted it out very fast. It is an apartment in a block (well, more in a palazzo). So there's no one there, and when you arrive no indication of what to do. We had given our arrival time, but received no instructions about what to do on arrival, so had to ring the number. Then everything was fine, but perhaps a bit more information (even that it is necessary to make that phone call) would have been nice beforehand. When we booked I mentioned that my wife was allergic to feathers, but when we arrived there was a feather duvet and pillows. Again, a phone call produced a very quick response, which we greatly appreciated, but it would be nice if people read the messages you sent. There was also no information about what to do with rubbish, or where to leave the key on departure, and again, some simple information would be helpful. But overall we would highly recommend this as a place to stay.
- Stephen (7/5): Lovely apartment, bathroom needs a revamp. - Nice spacious apartment in a good location. Staff were very helpful. Great wifi. The only problem was the bathroom. The toilet didn’t flush for two days, we had to use a bucket to flush it. Somebody did come & fix it on the Monday morning though. But then the hot water stopped working so we only had cold water for the last two days of our trip. Also there’s no shower, only a hand held one over a sunken bath with wasn’t ideal.
- Tanya (9/5): Very nice! - Great location . The metro and bus stations are nearby, as well as a supermarket. The house-keeper lady is very polite and effective.
All necessary ammenities in the kitchenette. The windows face a busy street, so it was a little bit noisy in the night and early morning
During 3-4 last days of our stay we experienced some problems with a very little flow of cold water (affecting also the WC)
- Helena (9/5): Superb - Great locality, grocery round the corner, good restaurants nearby, in walking distance to Vatican and Angels castle Nothing
- Endre (4/5): Weak (but expensive) accomodation in the fantastic capital of Italy - The apartment is located in a very good district, near to Vatican City and Castello Angelo. Just opposite to the apartment there is a supermarket, open from 8 AM till 9:30 PM. You find very close to the apartment restaurants, two metro stations (Octaviano 500 m, Lepanto 550 m), so the location is excellent.
The apartment is well equipped, but... By the morning of the third day the heater in the salon went wrong. Even the host called the technician, but as it was Saturday, the guy visited the flat only on Monday. It's a matter of fact, that he/she couldn't repair the machine at the end... As the outside temperature was very low, the salon cooled down every morning, and to have the breakfast was not pleasant. Fortunately on Monday the temperature started to increase, it helped a bit.
Effective rinsing of the water closet was possible only by additional water from a bucket, which was not too convenient.
The heater in the bathroom was rusty and when we opened the valve, water started to squirt, therefore it was not usable for heating.
Even iron was in the list of the accessories when we booked, but in fact it wasn't on the place.
The light in the salon is very weak, there is only one lamp with only one bulb vs. 2.
