• Mirella (1/5): Avoid if you are looking for a welcoming place - Rural home with nice taste. Owner attitude at the very last minute. We had some reasonable requests (ie kettle and cups in the room, and changing room due to uncomfortable feeling in the attic), which were responded politely on text. The next morning I overheard the owner talking in a very negative way about our request, even using the F word, to another staff member. This made me extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. Owner even texted me that she regretted not to ask us to leave earlier.

• Zsontell (10/5): Fantastic stay in beautifully preserved house in Las Arenas. - This was a great stay in a beautiful rural location, just a short drive from Poncebos for hiking excursions. The house and property are beautiful with a rustic vibe but with comfortable furnishings, we could tell a lot of love and care had gone into the preservation of the house. It was great to have our own bathroom, as well as access to the shared kitchen and living spaces which have everything you need to cook your own meals. The people who came to clean each day were friendly and did a great job. Nothing, just note the locks for the front door and bedroom door took a couple of times to get the hang of.

• Claudia (10/5): Perfecta: hogareña y cómoda. - Ha superado con creces mis expectativas. La ubicación y estética de la casa es perfecta. Hubo un inconveniente con un corte de la luz una noche pero la responsable vino a solucionarlo aunque no tuviera ni idea y fueran las 23h de la noche, además, al día siguiente vino un electricista que lo solucionó y recibimos un correo pidiendo disculpas por las molestias. Con el resto de huéspedes una convivencia espectacular. Y la relación estancia-precio es buenísima, cuando llegamos nos sorprendió el tamaño de la casa, de la habitación y de cómo estaba todo tan cuidado. Realmente no tengo nada que aportar aquí.

• Lyn (10/5): Comfortable rooms, great garden, we absolutely loved our stay here - Easy to find, amazing garden, so clean and such lovely rooms and very comfortable beds which was very much appreciated after the Cares Gorge Walk. We loved the kitchen and courtyard too. So nice to spend time catching up with my family there in such a secluded and welcoming space. One of our best stays. Highly recommend staying here. Absolutely nothing

• Francine (10/5): Great base to drive to multiple walks/viewing areas. Comfortable room, good access to shared kitchen/lounge/ - Location was fantastic, very close to a walk around the village. Having the yard out the back to sit in, and a sofa right outside our twin bed room (2nd floor) was lovely too. Our room was spacious, good bathroom, and we enjoyed using the well equipped kitchen for coffee/tea and cooking. We also enjoyed chatting briefly with other guests using the common kitchen/lounge room. It wasn’t a problem, but for other visitors to know, you may not see a host as we didn’t. We obtained our key from the key lock and were out walking/exploring each of our 3 days (we had a car).
• Susan (10/5): We thoroughly recommend Casa Arenas, a fabulous place to stay in the Pico's. - The location is great for walking the Cares Gorge, just a short drive from Poncebos. The house is totally charming, excellent kitchen facilities and lovely places to sit outside. Easy walk to restaurants and the supermarket.

• Paula (8/5): Muy buen alojamiento en el corazón de los picos de europa - Muy buena ubicación para hacer rutas y conocer los pueblos de alrededor. Limpia y con todo lo necesario por si no quieres gastar mucho dinero comiendo y cenando fuera todos los días. Nos facilitaron cambiar de habitación sin problema. En la planta superior (habitación triple) hace frío al ser una buhardilla; además había algunos insectos.

• Lucia.qg (8/5): Bien - La tranquilidad, ubicación y el sonido del río que pasa por detrás de la casa. Lo único que pondría negativo es el ruido que hay en la casa por ser de madera todo. Las escaleras hacen demasiado ruido y la gente que se hospeda no suele ser muy cuidadosa a la hora de abrir y cerrar puertas.

It assumes I have the time, the technical knowledge, mobile data, a suitable device, and even telephone reception to do so. It feels especially inconsiderate when this requirement isn’t mentioned in the hotel description. Combined with the fact that I have to wait until the manager comes online to ask any questions, the overall experience feels impersonal and lacking in hospitality.”

• Maria Berasategui (8/5): Como en casa! - La casa por fuera ya es preciosa, tiene unas mesas y sillas en el jardín para poder descansar y cenar. Según entras a mano izquierda tienes una cocina comunitaria y un frigo con un poco de espacio para que dejes tus cosas y a mano derecha una gran mesa para cenar/desayunar/ jugar a juegos de mesa... Las habitaciones son luminosas, la nuestra con vistas al jardín y de fondo las montañas. Tanto la habitación como el baño son amplios, luminosos y limpios. Toda la habitación decorada con gusto y acorde a la casa. A la anfitriona no la vimos pero eso no fue problema para el check-in. Posteriormente le escribi whatsupp para una consulta y contestó enseguida. Muy amable. Señal wifi buena. A unos 5 min caminando de la plaza del pueblo donde hay restaurantes y cafeterías. Volvería sin duda. Para mí no fue ningún problema pero en la habitación no había televisión. Creo que es un regalo para reconectarnos con quien nos acompaña pero me temo que siempre habrá alguno que se queje de eso así que, que vaya informado. Asimismo, pegadito al alojamiento hay algunas plazas de aparcamiento pero no muchas. En el peor de los casos, descargas en la puerta las maletas y vas a aparcar el coche en el parking público del pueblo que está a 10 min a pie y es gigante.

• Tony (10/5): Really nice place close to village and local restaurants - Nice surprise to find a nice garden area, handy kitchen area with fridge, pleasant sitting areas downstairs and upstairs with a view of the mountains. Easy parking close by and perfect location for Poncebos and Sotres for excellent walks to Bulnes and the Naranjo. Beautiful area! Nothing everything was great. We chose to stay here rather than use the local campsite because the weather can be variable in the Picos. We would stay here again.

En la cocina hay todo lo que se necesita (microondas, nevera, tostadora, cafetera...). El jardín es ideal para relajarse. Y la ubicación inmejorable. Repetiré seguro.

Zonas comunes (jardín, sala, galería del primer piso...) muy cómodas; en lo que se refiere a la cocina, dispone de todo lo necesario para la estancia. Relación calidad-precio inmejorable.
• Nacho (8/5): Buena ubicacion y excelente nivel de limpieza - Muy bien ubicado y muy limpio, estuvimos 4 noches sin ningun problema Nuestra habitacion estaba en la azotea (bajo tejado), y ha sido la promera vez en los 20 veranos que estamos por el norte, que tenemos que dormir con ventilador. Fue el propio alojamiento quien nos lo dejo antes de pedirlo, pero si volvemos, no lo haremos en esa habitacion.
