• Roscani (8/5): - El lugar es hermoso, la habitación es amplia, limpia y cómoda. Lo que no me gusto fue que pedimos habitación privada, la puerta no cerraba con llave y no lo solucionaron en los 2 días de estadía.

• alexandre (8/5): Moins bien que les notes disent - Le staff et l’emplacement J ai pris une chambre standard et le confort laisse à désirer. Pas de lumière individuelle, matelas hors d’âge. La salle de bains n’était pas nettoyée à heure régulière. Petit déjeuner ok sans plus. Le système des portes hôtel/cuisine est galère.
• Julie (9/5): - Le personnel était vraiment très gentil et arrangeant. La chambre était spacieuse et donnait sur un joli patio. Le petit déjeuner était bon et les parties communes très agréables. Devoir sortir sur le trottoir puis rerentrer à côté pour aller au petit déjeuner. Horaire du petit déjeuner (8h) trop tardive pour nous mais le personnel nous a arrangés pour commencer un peu plus tôt.
• Angela (10/5): Amabilidad, comodidad y buena ubicación - El lugar es muy lindo, la anfitriona muy pendiente de todo siempre. La ubicación es excepcional, restaurantes cerca, calles seguras, facilidad a cualquier punto de la ciudad. Estuve en la primera habitación a la entrada y se oía un poco de ruido pero nada grave.
• Jos (8/5): Fijn verblijf in Medellin in leuke buurt - Top locatie met de levendigheid van Laureles op loopafstand, ook bij de metro ben je zo. Bed lag goed. Warm water in de douche (als je hem niet te hard zet). Lekker ontbijt. Prima keuken. Lieve mensen. Kamers wat klein en geen mogelijkheid voor doorluchten. We verbleven er 4 nachten en vonden dat iets te lang, maar voor korter is het prima.

• Juana María Verónica (7/5): - Me agrado mucho la atención de todo el personal fue excelente 👌 10 de 10, además te dejan guardar tu equipaje. Sala recepción y cocina muy bien. La cama me pareció algo incomoda, no pude dormir bien y tuve pesadillas algo muy raro en mí; como sugerencia deberían optar por cambiar las cobijas negras por algo más armonioso.
• Mirna (10/5): Uma estadia confortável e tranquila - Impecável! Tudo sempre limpo e cheiroso, café da manhã bem servido e gostoso. Os funcionários sempre muito amáveis. Cama confortável. Cozinha bem equipada. Wi-Fi muito bom. Região do hostel é ótima, com mercados e restaurantes. Fica relativamente longe do metro (20 min caminhando). Não tem janela nem luz principal no quarto (só as luzes individuais de cada cama), o que deixa o quarto constantemente escuro.
• Franco (10/5): Excelente recomendados al 1000% - Muy acogedor, excelente calidad humana, muy amables y preocupados por el huésped, me facilitaron tarjetas cívicas para movilizarme, estaban pendiente de mí la comida es súper rica, gracias señora Fany, gracias Esteban cocina rico y ya es un buen amigo.

• Daniel (10/5): - O hostel fica em um ótimo barro bem tranquila e próximo a uma rua onde tem diversos bares para quem gosta de uma vida nocturna. As instalações sao perfeitas, extremamente limpas e trm um café da manha perfeito! Sem contar que todos os funcionários do hotel são muito prestativos, animados e estão ali sempre para ajudar em tudo que precisar! Voltei apaixonado por Medellin e quando retornar já sei onde voltar me hospedar!

We had good chats with several of them and they encouraged travellers to socialise and engaged with everyone on a personal level. The hostel provides free water which is a big plus. For a small fee, they will also do you laundry. The walls are thin which is especially annoying if other guests are noisy at night (though house rule do state that common areas can only be used until 23)

• Alexander (7/5): Good - Cute little place upstairs and in a very cosy neighborhood There was no private locker or key for the rooms, but the staff was so friendly to lend me the key to the dorm since I was the only one there, super sweet. Unfortunately I got a room without curtains on the beds, which I had booked showing on booking. Small mistakes or misunderstandings

• Alexandra (10/5): Great Hostel and Staff - This was an excellent hostel. The staff were amazing and so helpful and even helped me set up my SIM card. It was really secure and safe with a buzzer entry. The breakfast was great and the staff went above and beyond to make sure you were comfortable. It was excellent. As with anywhere, sometimes there were insects in the bathroom but they were dealt with quickly by the staff and isn’t unusual at all! Really clean hostel and attentive staff.
• I (9/5): Relax o Party...up to you! - I especially liked the breakfast of fresh fruits.....and I mean FRESH! Close to stores and transport. A guy will come with his fruit cart selling fresh vegetables and fruits. Meeting people from other countries and cultures adds to the experience. Laundry is done for you I don't know.
• Angela (4/5): Disappointing - It is new and the place in general well maintained. The breakfast is delicious. I didn't like that at night it is extremely noisy, at least our room that is the closest to the kitchen. The bathroom is not private because it is not inside the room, it is necessary to get out and look for it. Accessing is not easy, too many steps to enter to the hostel. The staff is friendly but a little intrusive.
• Ali (10/5): Great location, great staff, comfortable beds - The staff of the hostel really goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Very kind and friendly and it feels like family. The price is very good, especially with the breakfast included. There is a hot shower which is a big bonus, free water and a big kitchen to cook if you want to. Highly recommend staying here. The only point of feedback would be that the bunk beds do make a little bit of noise when you turn around at night. I know this is the case for many hostels but it could be a nice point for improvement.
• Marianne (10/5): Home away from home. - I planned to stay three nights and ended up staying for a week! The family that runs the hostel is so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is really good and includes freshly made fruit juice. WiFi is strong. The balcony is a good place to work. Location is outstanding. A very short walk to many restaurants yet a bit away from the louder parts of Laureles. Fruit sellers often pass and there is a mercadito a couple of doors away. The other guests were friendly and we communed in the common area. I cannot say enough good things about Laureles Garden Hostel. I will surely return.
• Sarah (8/5): Very good - Staff was very nice. Good location in a very quiet and safe area, not far from underground (20min). Breakfast. Filtrated water for free. Hot water. They let us use pasta and other ingredients to cook a meal when we arrived very late 🙂 They did a mistake with our booking, but tried their best to solve it. It's quite noisy, you can hear voice from the common room in the morning. You need to put the vent to hide the noise. The bed was too hard.
• Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - I loved my time here. The staff were super helpful and friendly, there was a family feel. They even helped me organise a haircut! The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was substantial and delicious. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential, and feels safe. It was great value for money! The location is about 20 min walk from the metro, and 15 min walk from the main bars, restaurants and cafes in Laureles. It wasn't a problem for me as it meant the area was quieter, but is a factor to consider.
• Arianna (10/5): Cozy hostel in a nice area. - The staff is the friendliest, they really make you feel like at home. I loved the atmosphere. Laureles is also a very nice area.
• Raymond (10/5): One of the best hostels I've stayed at - Staff were super friendly and great to talk to. Really felt personalized. The kitchen was also one of the best we've seen at a hostel. They also provide excellent laundry service. Our room was a bit stuffy on certain days.

Our rooms and prices didn’t match what we reserved which resulted in a lot of confusion. In the end we paid a fair price. There is no WiFi in the family room. Also the beds are hard and shower is cold

• Lieke (10/5): Amazingly welcoming stay in medellin - Amazing place! People are absolutely the kindest ever! So welcoming. Great common space, a big table where breakfast is served and people actually interact with each other ;). Cant recommend this place more! Thanks lovely staff!
• Johann (10/5): A good place to stay for short periods of time! - Excellent service! The hosts made everything possible to serve the extra mile. The Hostal is located in a very tranquil region, and they are very dedicated to their service! Awesome place for those who are looking to stay in Medellin. Despite the host did everything to make my staying the most comfortable, the place is a bit noisy! If you need a space or time to work, maybe this is not the right place. There is too much crowd and other guests usually stay up until late with thetalking loud, and with the music sometimes out a bit loud.
