- Kuntai (10/5): Exceptional - Was a wonderful cabin out in the forest. We really enjoyed the cozy feel of the place and the relaxed vibe of the village. We were provided with linen and towels for our trip which was a nice surprise. The kids loved being out in nature, especially seeing the kangaroos at dusk and the birds walking around the village.
- Leah (10/5): Peaceful gave us a chance to regenerate and come home fresh - Beautiful peaceful place to unwind Nothing
- Trisha (10/5): Step back in time Australian homestead the beauty is the simplicity - It was a magical experience I recommend staying for at least 3 nights to truly connect with the environment and feel amazing. The host put so much thought into every detail. It was as though every thing was thought out to the finest details.
I loved everything about this property. Thank you for sharing your holiday home and making it unforgettable.
It was like stepping back in time 100 years with the best hot water showers, cleanest air and most relaxing environment. My son loved taking photos of the place and animals No phone reception
- A (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly owner and maintainence man.
Rich history as it is an old timber mill village, close to Manjimup, beautiful style old cottage that allows an old wood style fire (wood all provided)
They think of every detail to add to the comfort.
- Stephen (10/5): The perfect place to unplug from the world for a few days and recharge! - Quiet, clean, calm!
- Hendrik (5/5): Passable -
- Michele (5/5): Passable - The caretaker was the saving grace for this booking.
Located some distance out of town in a beautiful, forrested area. Kangaroos aplenty in close proximity. No bed linen or towels provided. Had to speak to the caretaker who provided enough to get by for one night. No tea, coffee or milk supplied. No TV or radio. No bath soap provided. Main bedroom light globe didn't work, husband changed it.
Most expensive fee of our trip. Non-refundable fee. Had we known at the outset that we were required to provide everything we wouldn't have booked this cottage. We learned of the requirement in the confirmation email we received.
Would not book here again.
- Julia (9/5): Great stay, - Great location, quiet, easy to find Some globes missing so not enough light, no firewood so not much heating other than 1 split. The furniture (lounge room) is old and not comfortable, needs a TV
- Faraz (8/5): Cottage number 23 - Facilities inside the cottage were near perfect.
Kitchen got a retro vintage feel and with all accessories you need for cooking.
Heating under blankets for all beds.
Enough lights and lamps to light up the cottage.
Lots of board games to keep the kids entertained. No beddings provided for any bed (1 queen 2 single). Property owner did send us a message about no beddings via booking.com 8am same day which we miss of course.
After calling few times to the number given to us, things were sorted out.
No fire wood provided for the fire place but reverse cycle air con was working just fine to warm the cottage.
No working BBQ at our cottage #23 as advertised which was a disappointment for our plans.
- Emma (7/5): Good - Effectively refurbished timbermill cottage in a beautiful setting for getting away from everything. It was a little further to get to the things we wanted to do than expected.
- Kobus (7/5): Enjoyed our stay - Loved the interior decorating, very homey
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
