- Phillip (8/5): - Quorn is a fantastic little town and this pub is right in the main street.
Clean room good linen and free breakfast.
Friendly staff, only downside was water pressure in shower but for the price this was not a deal breaker.
Quorn has a fabulous local shops scene.
A woodfire bakery, Gin Distillery, Good coffee at the Scruffy Gentleman gift shops a great IGA etc etc we loved this quirky little town.
- Judith (6/5): Lovely and comfortable for the price -
- Peter (9/5): Friendly, Helpful, Clean. Great food. - Nice BIG room, Super helpful and friendly staff.
Big Bonus, if you are bikepacking the Mawson Trail, very welcoming . And let you put your bike in your room. Excellent. NA

- Pamela (7/5): - Didn't use the breakfast, but the location was good & easy to find. We were on our way up to the Flinders Ranges & decided to break our trip. We had dinner in the attached hotel part which was lovely. The beds were OK, but could have been a bit more comfortable.
- Susan (7/5): Had a great experience, such a lovely town - The location was great

- Pinkster (3/5): Poor communication and service. - The location was good. The beds were comfy and the unit was clean and tidy. We stayed twice- on our way to Marree and on our way back. On the night of our first stay the power went out when we turned on the kettle but it came back on again.
The second stay all units were booked and the power went out at 9 pm. Myself and a guest from another unit checked a meter box in the old building and there was no tripped meter. The hotel was completely closed up. It wasn't until 630 am in the morning when that i thought to look up online contact details to call. Power was then put back on at 7 am. There was another meter box behind the building that had tripped.
I requested a refund as we were not going to stay a second night. The manager did not reply to two emails or texts I sent regarding a request for a refund, though he has stated in my other review that he could get back to me privately. This has not happened. This is dishonest communication.
I am writing this so others are aware.
- john (2/5): Crap - The general staff were very good and helpful Got there and was told no food service in the pub. Management didn’t seem too bothered. Hadn’t bothered to tell us before we arrived. No freezer and fridge in room was broken. No other place available to eat so went to local supermarket and bought frozen food and cooked with microwave.
No hot water in the morning for a wash.
- Pinkster (4/5): disappointing - We stayed in a unit at the back of the hotel. It was clean, tidy and neat and beds were comfy. Breakfast dining area was good. All units had no power from 9 pm until staff fixed it around 7am. Seems the meter box is easily triggered if someone switches on a kettle etc.
Have sent two emails requesting a refund as we didn't want to stay there the second night but no reply from the manager. Poor communication.
Will not be staying there again.

- Stephanie (9/5): - I was quite impressed with the History & retention of some of the Character features and the little extras of complimentary shampoo, conditioner and soap in natural products & complements the Region's History with Native Australian plants 🪴 etc There were quite a few Black ants 🐜 up & around the shower to the shower 🚿 head looked like they were going for the water?
- Miriam (8/5): - Lovely staff, clean room right in the middle of town. Older facilities but clean and comfy. Breakfast was included. Good value for the price.
- Marilyn (7/5): Good - It was good and convenient. Staff very friendly. It was fine. No frills, we just needed a place to drop off our stuff and enjoy the town and the attractions

- Adrian (7/5): An enjoyable stay, close to everything I needed. I would certainly stay here again ! - Complimentary self service breakfast - a nice touch ! Basic, clean and well received Unable to access balcony, which would have been nice for the view, unable to have a meal as no chef available.
- Christopher (9/5): -
- Helen (9/5): Comfortable and convenient. - A good range of cereals and toast available for us to help ourselves in breakfast room. Water wasn’t hot for second person showering.
- Dean (8/5): -
- Barry (10/5): Great - Adequate with a good variety of cereal and bread
- david (8/5): - It's a historic pub and its been well looked after. Free help-yourself brekky was a considerate add-on. The room was outside the pub and, while comfortable enough, I would have preferred to have been inside the historic building.
- Dianne (6/5): Friendly staff, decent enough room if staying for a night. - An added bonus was having breakfast available.
- GRAHAM (3/5): Would pick better next time and wouldn’t recommend - Aircon didn’t work
Curtain not serviceable
- Russell (9/5): -
- Janelle (7/5): Suitable for a short stay. - Quiet, clean and comfortable. Basic accommodation behind a lovely old pub. suited our needs for an overnight stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was a great offering which made our departure easier. Liked the original retro bathroom too! Power was briefly interrupted but quickly restored.

- Mcginley (5/5): Passable -

- Allenlips (10/5): Will definitely return there. - We found the staff, especially Clare and Allison to be most welcoming and helpful. No Issues
- Varuni (10/5): It was a wonderful outback experience in the Flinders - Alison and the team were wonderful. The rooms were good for a family and it so close to all the Quorn attractions- and just across the road from the Railway Station.
- Chris (6/5): Pleasant -
- Henry (7/5): Fits the bill when you just need a bed and a decent feed - Breakfast great dinner even better. Better showers
- 00jack00 (5/5): Passable - Good location Dusty room. Toilet cistern was detached from the wall.
- Christine (9/5): Superb -
- Annette (9/5): Superb -
- Williams (7/5): Good -
- Marie (7/5): Good - Friendliness of the staff. The bathroom was very dirty. Tops of tiles and floor need scrubbing.
- Mal (7/5): Good - Good Unable to get any fresh air into the room
- Vicki (4/5): Absolutely terrible it needs a major refurbishment before we would even consider staying again! - No breakfast offered only tea & coffee but no toaster or shared kitchen to make breakfast Beds & pillows uncomfortable, room in need of repair, cornice coming away from the ceiling, curtains daggy, tiles falling off the wall in the bathroom & shower head rusty, blood awful stay!
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (6/5): Pleasant -
- Russell (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (5/5): The owners need to actually walk into their own rooms and see if they would stay there themselves. - I don’t want to be rude but it was pretty rough. The room really needed to be brought up to some standard if I am honest. It was two star at best and needed a vacuum, carpet cleaned and so much more I don’t have space. I know it was a country location but I have paid the same in other places and it has been acceptable.
- Christine (8/5): Great accommodation in a beautiful part of the world - Great location Breakfast provided was great Slow shower
- Alan (7/5): pleasant - Large room and comfortable and clean and quiet. Noting this is an old rural hotel and the rooms are basic but have every thing you need. Good meals available on site. nil
- Lynn (8/5): Very good -
- Kelly (8/5): Very good - Beds a bit lumpy flat pillows
- Peter (8/5): We personally had a good stay but others did not Room for improvement. Excellent food. - The friendliness and efficiency of all staff. The sleeping accommodation has a convenient bedside power point for my CPCP machine.
The meals are both enjoyable and reasonably priced. Better than other nearby facilities. Our room was clean and the bed excellent but some of the outer rooms were dusty (we were a large party and had 3 rooms.
My brothers rooms bed was banana and he could not sleep untilhe took the mattress off and put it on the floor to sleep.
- Michael (2/5): Very poor -
- Claus (8/5): Very good -
- Gerard (1/5): TV was broken but no solution offered. Room extremely Basic with few of the normal facilities . When I eventually saw th - Convenient location to Quorn railway station No proper shelving in the room. Mirror in the second room was mounted at about 170 too high for anyone of shorter stature to use.
Rooms only cleand prior to stay and never again.
When wiping water up in the shower area the tissues turn black.
TV broken with no solution offered
No hairdryer or ironing facility.
Aircon difficult to use and bery noisy.
Not enough places to hang wet towels.
The room is extremely basic. And certainly did not reflect the cost.
No microwave
- Michael (1/5): Bad - Nothing Worst bed ever crap hotel
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant and well positioned within the town. - Meals were good and staff were friendly and welcoming. Great position within the town, easy walk to most places/attractions. Ample parking on site. The rooms are dated and could do with a refresh/update. I don't think the bathroom window lock was working?? also maybe an additional lock on the room doors.
- Graeme (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (6/5): A good spot to stop to take a break. - It was the perfect stop between Adelaide and Marree. Only a short walk to the Quorn light show.
- Rosemarie (9/5): Good location - Communal breakfast room was good and bonus. Central location. Staff friendly. Restaurant and bar onsite.
- Wendy (7/5): Comfortable stopping place on a road trip - Good traditional country hotel with lots of character. The service was friendly and the dinners good.
- Roger (10/5): Friendly staff, good meals, value for money. Will stay again. - Central location
- Jeremy (6/5): Very friendly and good price, very nice bed, extra blankets and pillows handy, would stay again. - Reasonable and good choice of basic breakfast food. The bathroom had a strong plumbing smell, we just shut the door, or a room spray would have fixed it.
- Kim (1/5): Don’t stay here - Room dirty, hair in sink. Room located right across from noisy dining room with kids screaming. Lights on that could not be turned off so could not sleep due to all of this.
- Ian (3/5): 'Tired' and in urgent neeed of renovation. Certainly not 4 star accommodation as advertised. - The food in the dining room was tasty and a good size serve.
Hotel well located. The room and the hotel generally were very 'tired' and badly need renovation. Old dated bathroom with missing wall tiles. Old 'box' style aircon (cool only, separate heater). Front door to apartment badly affected by water and falling apart at the bottom. The several beds in the room varied from 'adequate' to excessively soft. Certainly not 4 star accommodation as advertised, 2 star at best.
