William (2/5): Good location, lousy service and you’ll pay more than the price you see on Booking. - Good location, quiet, close to businesses. The church across the street can get loud some evenings, but it’s ok. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment and paid in full through their third party website (they don’t allow payment through Booking.com), however when I arrived, I found that the second room was locked and the management charged me more money to unlock the second room, I showed her the reservation, but she it didn’t concern her, she wanted more money. Also, their keyless entry app was useless and they would only issue me one key card, my friend could not leave the apartment without me. I had to beg for toilet paper and a second towel change was denied. Management is very inhospitable.

Lo peor son las fiestas de fin de semana de la iglesia que esta al frente. ( necesitan tener tan alto el volumen?) Toma mas de una hora caminando a la playa.

I wasn’t so confortable at first with doing the payment through a link sent via WhatsApp versus through booking but it seems it s often the way they do it in dominican republic. The night we were here the church+ streets around were pretty loud so make sure you dont forget your earplugs if you sleep light

Hindolo (5/5): - Location was great... 15 minute walk to the best hip hop afrobeats clubs in Punta Cana called Drink Point, Empire Lounge and Infinity bar and lounge. There local mini supermarkets close by and KFC Taco Bell close by as well. The apartment has a balcony, a nice living room, a kitchen with a microwave, TV in the bedrooms and the Wi fi was working perfectly. The communication is absolutely horrible, you have to communicate via WhatsApp and the staff do not speak or speak very little English. When I arrived I had to use my uber drivers phone to call the host and he had to speak Spanish to host to let me in the apartment because they couldn't understand English. When I got in a woman gave me my key card for the room I then went in one bedroom was open the other one was locked I said to the woman paid for a 2 bedroom apartment why is there only 1 and she said via Google translator that I have to pay extra when my confirmation booking said I paid for a 2 bedroom apartment it's written there in black and white and she's telling me via Google translator that I have to contact booking.com why should I when you sent me the link to pay for the apartment within 24hrs or else my reservation would be cancelled...this was frustrating me because she doesnt speak and im jet lagged from a 9 hour flight...this is false advertising you can't make someone pay for a 2 bedroom apartment then when they get here you make them pay for extra for the one bedroom locked in the apartment...this is fraud....but because my patience was running out I just paid the £14 for roon...4 days into my stay in the electricity was off and I was told to 1000 pesos....again false advertising if I had known in advertisement I had to pay for electricity and an extra room when it clearly says 2 bedroom apartment I wouldn't have booked this apartment. The cleaners do not come clean your apartment or give new towels od change the sheets if you dont ask. This apartment needs to stop scamming people.

LIU SHIYU (1/5): Such a horrible experience for my stay, not recommended. - The only good aspect is the location. This is such a horrible experience I had on booking. - The host is not very proactive in responding; he always replied to me even after 1 or 2 days. - I never knew I needed to pay this amount through an external link when they book the property, since there is no description on the website. What is ridiculous is that I need to pay the cancellation fee, which is equivalent to the accommodation fee if I cancel the booking. So, I had several conversations with Booking.com to ask for help to waive the cancellation fee, as I did nothing wrong in this process. Booking also tried to speak with the host, and the host declined the request. This means that I will have to stay at this accommodation and must pay the money by the external link. However, the host never sent me the link on Booking but sent me the payment link on WhatsApp a few hours ago, when my flight was about to take off. As a consequence, I had no choice but to make the payment by the external link sent by WhatsApp. - The external link can only be sent to the customer through the host's WhatsApp, not on the booking platform. - The whole communication is not customer-friendly as the host only rely your message in Spanish and replies very late. - During my stay, there was one night that I woke up due to a very loud sound, which was a severe verbal argument downstairs, and I saw through the window that 2 or 3 strangers were rushing into the property to participate in this argument, making me feel very insecure and nervous. - Last but not least, this property has no hot water; if you want to take a shower, shower yourself by cold water.

Juan (1/5): Sitio desagradable y sin atención al cliente - Horrible el sitio, no volvería a ir aunque me lo regalasen, el inodoro atascado, por lo tanto las heces no bajan por el y se quedan en el agua provocando un desagradable olor y que no se pueda utilizar el inodoro, no cambian las toallas he tenido que usar la misma toalla toda la estancia, no dejan champu ni gel en el apartamento, solo hay 1 royo de papel higiénico para toda la estancia, no hay ni 1 solo trapo en la cocina y todo está en mal estado, no se lo recomendaría a absolutamente nadie. Rafael (6/5): Good - Everything was in perfect working order, however, we booked a room for 5 people, and around midnight the light in the room was cut off. We don't know why, but the host directed us to 2 other rooms for 2 people, and one person slept on a mattress on the floor. One of the rooms they offered us didn't have hot water, but it was comfortable. They insisted we pay through a link outside of Booking.com, but we offered to pay in cash upon arrival at the room, which was very difficult for them to accept, but they eventually did. Everything was paid. They are very kind. I recommend them. However, they should improve their payment method and accept payment in cash or through Booking.com, as this builds trust for both parties. Also, since we arrived around 10 pm, they made it difficult for us to be received, but everything worked out. Thank you.

Simon (6/5): Overall an affordable and pleasant stay but reservation process needs attention - Spacious and well laid out furnished holiday apartment at a good price point. WiFi worked well. The location is fine, if not super convenient, though since we had a car it was not an issue getting around. The bed in my room was comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedroom effective - though it would have been nice if there was also zircon in the living area that got rather hot in daytime hours. OK so they ask you to pay after the reservation on booking.com is complete within 24 hours otherwise they cancel your booking without further warning. I was lucky that I saw this message. You then have to follow up with them to receive a payment link to pay by credit card. I work in sales and I found it rather odd having to follow up as a customer! Anyway, the link worked fine and the staff were pleasant enough. If this link could have been automatically provided in the first place it would have made things much easier, or better still if you could just pay through booking.com or on site on arrival. Furnishings were worn out and there were a few areas that could have been cleaner. Overall cleanliness seemed ok, if not sparkling. The shower pressure was rather weak.

I thought it was a scam and wanted to find out if there were other possibilities to pay, but they didn’t answer for a long time. And I can't cancel the reservation. They answer me only 1 day before arrival. Likely I was aloud to pay by card when I arrived. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for two people, but when I arrived the second bedroom was locked and they wanted to charge me 15$ extra per night. I refuse. I felt terrible, they trying to charge you for everything. Such a bad feeling and it ruined all positive things they might have.

C (7/5): Good - Excellent 2bdrm unit located on the 2nd floor. There is a TV available in both bedrooms equipped with App TV. The wifi is fast and reliable. This has excellent hot water and cooking utensils. Indoor parking was also available. The apartment is located in a quiet, safe area. This unit has excellent supportive staff that will assist you. Uber is the cheapest way to go if you travel by taxi. The In-driver app also works well as a taxi. You can use the PedidosYa app for food and local deliveries. This unit is guest-friendly and bargain compared to the surrounding Hotels and other Airbnb prices. When I arrived, the bathroom ceiling was leaking water and mold from the 3rd-floor unit. The host offered and changed the unit the next day.
