• Pieter (10/5): - Supergoede locatie in het centrum. Mooi ingericht huisje. De eigenaar was zeer behulpzaam en bereikbaar.
• Kevin (10/5): Super, Smashing, Great. Just Excellent. - The host was lovely, she showed us everything, was very enthusiastic and friendly, and the house had all the facilities we could need. Everything was beautifully decorated, clean and pleasant. The living areas and beds were comfortable and the host even left us a beer, a nice bottle of red wine, some cola, water and crisps/snacks on arrival and coffee, tea and other condiments and items were available if you were self catering. All in all this was a wonderful stay, in a wonderful house, in a beautiful area, and we all enjoyed ourselves so much. There was nothing to moan about, everything was as good as you could want and more I would say.
• Alan (10/5): Our host was a very special person., She picked us up from a station 40 km away. Great dedication. - Self Catering. but all kitchen equipment was available to make an excellent breakfast. All breakfast utensils are available and of good quality.
• JSH (10/5): Very comfortable house. Great location and town. - The house is really nice and comfortable. Everything you'd need in the kitchen and bathrooms. All very clean and very well decorated. A great back garden to sit out on those warmer days. We were met at the property by Marie-rose. She showed us where to park and gave us a tour of the property. Marie-rose was a great host and really so helpful. You can't park directly outside, but there was plenty of space very close by. Ieper is a great base for the battlefields and the town is easy to get around and so beautiful! Nothing really - we had such a great time here and really did not want to leave !
• Adam (10/5): - Perfect easy location to find, park and visit Ypres. Marie Rose was such a welcoming friendly host that we immediately felt relaxed and welcome. The house was so comfortable and well appointed. It had everything we needed. Nothing to say here.
• Jane (10/5): Exceptional apartment in a beautiful town - What an amazing place … spotless, beautifully appointed, excellent kitchen equipment and amount of cutlery etc. small details such as wine / soft drink in fridge. Probably the best apartment we’ve stayed in overall. Location short walk to Ypres centre and Menin Gate. Lovely walks around town walls and easy free parking a few minutes walk away. Fast charger in the car park as well which was perfect for us . So much to see and do … fully recommend. Many thanks to the owner for her thought/ communication and attention to detail. Would definitely return if in Ypres again. Nothing

• Nigel (9/5): Great house - Great location and House. Garden super with Swifts overhead and a Blackbird nest. If like us you enjoy birdwatching the Verdonken Weide nature park 5 minutes walk away is great. Everything in the house good. We just weren't expecting the Ypres car rally this weekend!

Would not hesitate to rebook. - The property was self catering so no meals were provided but the kitchen was very well equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. The location was excellent, in a quiet area, although the street was quite busy with traffic it was not heard inside the property. The house was beautifully furnished and the linen and towels were good quality. It also had a lovely little courtyard garden. We loved everything about the house and it felt like home away from home. We would definitely stay there again. We loved everything about the house.

It was beautifully decorated with exquisite taste.The location couldn't have been better and Marie-Rose Rose was the best host ever There was nothing at all I didn't like. Everything had been thought of.i would recommend to friends and I would stay there again.

• Sharon (10/5): Amazing Property, Great Location, Fantastic Host - Beautiful town house just inside the city walls of Ypres/Leper. We chose Marie-rose because we were driving from England in the evening and wanted somewhere easy to find. We were able to park as soon as we arrived, Marie Rose let us have a parking permit for inside the city wall and also provided some welcome treats. The house is gorgeous, decorated to a very high standard. On the top floor there are two large bedrooms, one double, one twin; the middle floor has a luxurious bathroom with shower and a good-sized living room. The ground floor has a well-equipped kitchen/diner which is part Glass roofed, and also a study. Wi-Fi was good and there was also TV with the main English channels. There is a small garden at that back, plenty big enough for the four of us to sit in. The house is in a fantastic location about 10 minutes walk from the Menin Gate and Market Square, the walk along the top of the walls is lovely. The Parking is restricted to 2hrs during the day Mon-Sat, but there is an unrestricted free car park just outside the Gate, 5 mins walk for the house; it seemed very safe, I was quite happy to leave our car there all weekend, as were numerous others. Ypres is a lovely Belgian town, plenty of cafes, restaurants bars, and shops. Last post at Menin gate, 8pm is very moving and worth seeing. We visited The "In Flanders Fields" museum and also "Passchendaele 1917 Museum". "Passchendaele 1917 Museum" is probably better for children & teens as it has the replica bunkers and trenches along with walks and memorial gardens. "In Flanders Fields" does allow you to go to the top of the clock tower but is more suited to adults. Had a great stay, would certainly stay at Marie-rose again.

• Rosemary (10/5): Perfect - Lovely little town house with everything provided and lots of welcome goodies. Beautiful small garden too. A mirror in the twin bedroom would have made everything just perfect
• Suzette (10/5): Book it today, you won't be sorry! - We traveled for three weeks, renting several properties. Maison Rose was our absolute favorite for many reasons! The host was exceptional, the apartment spotless and very comfortable, the location perfect. It is short walk into town with many restaurants, and there is a wonderful bakery right on the corner near the apartment that is fabulous! There is also much to see in the area, or a short drive away. I highly recommend Maison Rose! You will not be sorry. We loved the apartment, but if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. The apartment is three stories, with the bedrooms on the third floor.
• Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - We went to explore some of the WW1 memorials. Excellent location, everything thought of and parking nearby. Very comfortable and clean. House was modern and very nicely appointed. It is 3 floors so consider this when booking. Maire-Rose was an excellent friendly host. Nothing.

Lots of provisions on arrival - and instantly felt at home - warm and cozy, quiet yet close to the main square - free parking less than a minutes walk!! • Derek (10/5): My favourite AirB&B experience. Highly Recommended. - This place has been our favourite AirB&B experience to date. Marie-Rose, our host, was delightful, with great correspondence in the run up to our visit. The owner is obviously very proud of her property (2 bedroom, 3 storey townhouse). The place was immaculate, spotlessly clean, and very well appointed. I especially loved the welcome pack, with beer, wine and snacks. I took my 17 year old daughter for a weekend if WW1 history, and the location was perfect. 10 mins walk from Menin Gate, and the same from centre of town and Flanders Field museum. Free parking is nearby, and Marie-Rose will provide you with a ‘Blue’ parking permit, should you wish to travel and park-up locally. Highly recommended! We’ll be back!
