• Georgina (9/5): Clean and spacious apartment - Large studio with 2 huge double beds, very comfortable and clean with well equipped kitchen. The reception is about 10 mins walk from the studio, but staff drove us there. Lots of tours and activities can also be booked from reception. About 10 mins walk from the town. The studios aren't very well insulated and it was cold and very windy when I stayed in Feb, it was very cold at night and the wind was very loud. I had to use 2 blankets - I think providing duvets would be better.

• Sarah (10/5): Cozy cabins - The studios were very cozy, the kitchen was perfect and the bed was good. It was nice to have our little cabin for a few days. Good location, plenty of place to park

• Debora (10/5): Fantastica opción en Monteverde - Estuvimos en uno de los estudios, eramos 4 (incluido dos niños) y todo fue perfecto. Excepsional relación calidad -precio. El estudio muy amplio por lo que ha sido muy cómodo y bien equipado. Está ligeramente alejado del centro por lo que se necesita coche. Por decir algo, quizas pasamos algo de frio. Hacia fresco por la noche y había mucho viento... Algun edredón más hubiera estado bien.

• Kerstin (10/5): - Großes, sauberes Studio mit Küchenzeile Die Abflüsse rochen etwas, aber mit einem Handtuch darübergelegt war es in Ordnung. Durch die Leichtbauweise mit Blechdach , sind Wind und Regen deutlich zu hören, war für uns aber auszuhalten.

• Rachel (9/5): Excellent - Check in was friendly and helpful. We arrived on foot from the bus station to the hostel reception and were transported to the apartment by the staff which was nice. We were easily able to book all of the tours and transfers that we wanted to do through the hostel reception. The apartments were extremely well equipped with a fully functional kitchen and appliances. The bed and sofas were large and very comfortable. Everything was spotless, well maintained and very modern. The walk between the reception and apartment is about 10 minutes but it it isn’t far. The grounds could be a little more landscaped

• Carlos (9/5): Excelente lugar - Excelente ubicación, muy tranquilo, muy limpio. El baño tiene un loza muy resbaloza, sería bueno incluir algo antideslizante
• Valera (9/5): Todo súper bien - El estudio es nuevo y está bien equipado, el personal muy amable en todo momento, me ayudaron con los tours. Hay mucho viento y eso ocasiona mucho ruido en las noches, si tienes sueño ligero, recomiendo que lleves unos tapones para los oídos.
• Camacho (10/5): - Los apartamentos son súper cómodos y bonitos! Están cerca del centro pero al mismo tiempo en un lugar privado y silencioso. Me encantó y tendré el lugar en mis opciones de hospedaje para cuando regrese a Monteverde. Mi única observación, es que pondría ropa de cama más caliente o gruesa.

• Lucille (9/5): - Très bel endroit pour séjourner. À proximité de tout! Le logement est grand, propre et confortable. Notre hôte nous a aussi très bien accommodé lorsque nous en avons eu besoin. Le seul désagrément que nous avons vécu est qu'il faisait très froid en soirée et pendant la nuit. Nous qui sommes nordiques et habitués au froid, nous avons dû dormir avec gilet de laine, bas et utiliser toutes les couvertures chaudes fournies pour bien dormir.

Un bonito porche con sillones! me encanto!! Volvería sin dudas Necesita cambio de iluminación, las luces se prenden todas juntas, demasiado iluminado en ciertas ocasiones. Necesitaría alguna luz independiente en la cocina.
• Alvin (7/5): - Loved the studio, as it has everything you need for a stay in the mountains. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all amenities you need. The studio was very cold at night and in the morning. A heater and warm water in the kitchen would be a good upgrade.

• Orna (10/5): Great - New and very clean place. You have everything you need. It gets cold at night, so make sure you ask for extra blankets. Its very windy, but it was ok
• Sharon (9/5): Felt like a retreat - On the edge of town, bordered by a ranch, this location was excellent. It was a 10 minute walk to the center of Santa Elena. The cattle dogs barked at night but ear plugs helped with that. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was very clean. The hosts were very responsive on WhatsApp and the housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. It was unusually cold in Santa Elena at this time so a heater in the room would have been appreciated but there were extra blankets. I don't think this would typically be an issue.

• Shirley (9/5): Superb - Jonathan was very helpful and friendly. He arranged excursions and transportation for us. The studio was really clean. The location was convenient and safe. It's a hostel. No pool or other amenities. Perfect for a few nights, wouldn't stay long term.
• Lorenz (9/5): Superb - Big, clean accommodation offering excellent value for money. The kitchen was very well-equipped, there was parking directly in front of the cottage, and a Smart TV inside. A small terrace was also available, though unfortunately, we couldn’t use it due to the weather. It was easy to walk into the village. We would book here again, preferably in warmer weather. During our stay, it was cool and windy outside and even colder inside, as there was no heating. Also, it wasn’t very cozy inside because of the bright lighting. The cottages are situated somewhat remotely on a hill near the cemetery, which made the howling wind throughout the night nearly a little eerie. It was kind of hard as we came from the pacific coast and were used to tropical temperatures. But well, we were the ones who chose to visit the cloudforest :-)

• Annalea (8/5): I wish I could have stayed longer. - Good location. 10 minutes walk into town. Safe neighbourhood. The staff were very helpful when I needed to store my bags at the main hostel, even picking me up to help transport me and my back pack. My cabin could sleep 4 people and so if you divide the cost it is very good value.

The studio is clean and new and within easy walking distance to downtown Santa Elena. The price is good. My only complaint would be the lack of signage at the road. We had something of a difficult time finding the place.
• Emma (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay. It was modern, comfortable, and perfect for the 2 nights we were there. - The staff were extremely helpful. The property was very modern and clean. It was super windy when we were there and it was really noisy in the studio (not the property or staffs fault however).
• David (10/5): Good value, great location, brand new. - The place was new and clean. Staff were super friendly. There was excellent hot water in the shower, everything was safe secure. Beds were comfortable and we needed both blankets for sure. It was real close to the town center, we could walk. It was an ideal choice for us. Wifi was excellent. Everything was there in the kitchen, we used the coffee maker and the microwave. A great stay, very memorable. Thanks. A few extra shelves in the bathroom would be nice. The wind is constant, I slept in noise cancelling headphones. :)

• Molly (10/5): Fantastic studio in Monteverde - This studio was spotlessly clean and the beds were so comfy. The shower was also the best we had in Costa Rica - great pressure and hot water. The studio was quiet but only a few minutes walk from the town. The noise of the wind was loud but we enjoyed it! Jonathan was also really helpful with booking activities and recommendations

• Ihsen (7/5): Good - The place was spacious and as described, friendly staff and basics available. Smooth check in and local recommendations! The noise cancelation was terrible, with the rain and strong winds we barely slept as it's cabins not proper buildings, it felt as the house was about to fly! (We were in the northernmost cabin maybe the others are different...)

Super friendly and helpful staff who are always ready to give you advice and help! It is within walking distance of all bars, restaurants and shops. p.s. you can park the car in front of the door. • Loaiza (10/5): To repeat 100% - The studio is ideal and has everything you need to prepare meals. Hot water is a plus. It is only a 10 minute walk to the center of Santa Elena. The wifi is great for working remotely and the surroundings are peaceful. It has a balcony where I enjoyed a cup of coffee while listening to the birdsong and was lucky enough to spot an armadillo. Communication with the host, Jonathan and Kreisel, was excellent. We felt very welcome. Jonathan also offers help for the best activities. Thank you so much! Excellent value for money.
