- David (5/5): We enjoyed our stay very good location for transport but the huge apartment is not being used to its full potential - Great size not very well equipped for a long stay one hanging rail no drawers was not nearly enough cleaners don’t do a great job . Host was nice . No real balconies either just a Juliette overlooking a very overgrown garden
- Luna (10/5): Exceptional - The flat is perfect, lot of space, we loved it. The code to get The Keys was very practical and easy. At some point there was not hot water, and then no water at all, but it didn't last and didn't happen again.
- Alana (5/5): Passable - The cockroaches and bugs inside the dwelling
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is very comfortable, we were a family of 4 and we were super well, beautiful design, very complete equipment, and the location is excellent, 10 minutes by car from Sydney opera house.
And you also have the metro station 5 minutes walk away.
In short, a 10-point experience, the owner's attention was also excellent, every time we asked something he responded very quickly and always tried to help us. Go away 😱
- James (3/5): Served a need but very disappointing. - I think the images speak for themselves, but the biggest disappointment was the non-cleanliness of the bedding. Some of the linen was yellow and the beds smelt as if they hadn’t been washed for weeks. I’m not the only one who shared this opinion, the person who took the second room also mentioned this. And neither of us slept for fear of whatever we would pick up from them. The towels also smelled unclean, some were stained, and there’s something to be said for accommodation that has brown towels. The image out the outside represents the “courtyard view” the open truck I assume is the linen store. Left open to soak up the rain. The bedroom and bathroom had black mould forming and the building on a whole has a feel of homemade dilapidation, emphasised by the bedroom wall cutting half way through the lounge room window. I would only recommend staying here if you don’t have a car and you like beds as hard as ironing boards. Certainly the easiest $300 they have made.
- Lill (10/5): Exceptional -
- Celestine (9/5): very cozy and accomodating, would definitely come back myself, or recommend for traveller friends :) - the property itself was very beautiful!
- Polly (6/5): Pleasant - Great location and a good owner We had a few issues but we're immediately put right by owner.
- 宜廷 (9/5): It’s nice to find a place not so expensive in Sydney. - There has refrigerator is so convenient! The bathroom is too small, just like an mobile toilet with the shower room.
And also there has the cockroach issue, hope your place could have the cockroach poison to kill them…
- Frank (9/5): Superb - Very spacious and good to reach
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good -
- Hannah (10/5): A little Oasis - Tia and Gerard were extremely accommodating and the loft accomodation was brilliant. There are two double beds, one on the mezzanine and one in the large open downstairs area which was great as we hadn’t realised there would be two beds so we didn’t need to share. The air con is excellent and the kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped including an air fryer and a Dyson hairdryer, which we didn’t use but was great to see such good appliances on hand. Bathrooms also had nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The location was perfect for us due to staying close to family. A highly recommended stay. Thank you for having us. Nothing! It was perfect.
- Andrea (8/5): In the heart of an awesome part of Sydney. Spacious, well equipped and surprising! - It was great to be so central and the access arrangements worked well. It is an unusual and funky space. The bathroom is small for the space and price. It needs an upgrade.
- Jessie (7/5): Good -
- Mitchell (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent facilities, ambience and communication Nothing wrong
- Deborah (10/5): Sydney Holiday Fun - We stayed in the Granny Flat and it was cosy, clean and t he perfect size. I had trouble with the single bed. The slats moved and I nearly landed on the floor. . I managed to take the mattress off , rearrange the slats and put mattress back on. At 2am in the morning. The slats only sat on the rails. Nothing to hold them in place. No I wasn't jumping on the bed. I am 68 years old. Lol.
- Vivid (5/5): Passable -
- Jason (8/5): Very good -
- Novera (8/5): It is recommended for family holiday - It is quiet place but close to CBD and Maccas store.
and free street parking available on the spot. I could not watch the TV program. I am not familiar with two remote controls in the room.
There should be a printed instructions for opersting the TV.
- Suhartanto (8/5): We had a wonderful time staying here for it’s conveniences and strategic location. Highly recommended - The location is very strategic as it is very close to CBD, Airport and also toll ways to western and Easter suburbs via M4 & M5. We can also find parking easily in the street. No AC except fan.
- Arooj (6/5): Coping in Cope street - The place is compact is an 2 bed apartment ( one room has single bed) it's alright for a short stay, there are amenities close by, It was clean appart from tea cups, pretty dirty inside. It has CCTV and a secure large metal gate on the property for your safety.
It also Has a iron and hairdryer, with a choice of different pillows. The location, the taxi driver who dropped us off, gave us a warning that the surrounding area was a bit rough. Also advised as females not to be out after 5pm. The lady in really nice cafe around the corner and a friend who lives in Sydney also gave us the same advice.
When raised the response was to use normal precautions, we are currently traveling the world so are aware of how stay safe, to minimise risk to ourselves we like to have a heads up so we can pick appropriate places. As we have done with other stats. On two consecutive nights there was shouting and swearing coming from outside. The owners will be looking in to this as they mentioned in their response.
The main space could do with a sofa, as chairs are not that comfy.
If you don't have the curtains drawn other people from other apartment's can see you, it's strange and unnerving.
The room with a double bed is a tight space, we had to leave one suitcase in the hallway.
The single bed mattress could do with upgrading.
One heater was provided and it was quite chilly on a night, had to move it from room to room to warm up.
No wardrobes, there was no storage space what's ever.
It's a 10 min walk to Redfern train station, and about 35 mins to centre.
- Abby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Blades (2/5): We really didn't enjoy our stay. It's in a very dodgy location and the room felt like a backpackers. - It wasn't a proper apartment like the pictures. They've just stuck up thin walls and put down beds calling it an apartment. It seems very hit and miss dependiing on your apartment. No power points or room to move in the "Bedrooms". The experience was nothing like what I saw online and was happy to move to a comfortable location.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional - Brilliant facilities, extremely clean and well looked after, super communication by host
- Stephen (2/5): Not what I'd expect to get for the money paid - won't be staying again. - Room door had no security - deadlock key not provided. Entire floor was sticky, kitchen cupboards smelt of mould with strong scented oils used to cover the smell. Shower/toilet was a temporary pod setup plumbed in corner of room, no privacy being on ground floor with transparent curtains.
- Jason (10/5): A fabulous stay in an amazing property steeped in history and elegance. - Historic, high ceilings, neat and tidy No information about the history of the property, we had to look it up and ask locals. Exhaust fan in bathroom broken. No broom to sweep leaves out of the room.
- Aleksa (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (10/5): very good. The host was in communication the whole time and it was clean and everything felt fresh. - very nice for people wanting to explore the city.
- Tess (9/5): Superb -
- Arin (9/5): Superb -
