- rex (9/5): - the venue was close to the ferry terminal and the train station, very convenient for a quick trip to Southern Cross for AFL while on the way to SA.
- Chloe (10/5): -
- Rebecca (5/5): Won’t be staying there again. - It was clean. When we walked into the front desk it spelt very strongly of marijuana and the lady looked like she was under the influence of something and wasn’t very friendly.
- Cathie (10/5): Comfortable and everything I needed - perfect for my needs. - Good location, good price and friendly staff.
- Takako (7/5): - We could hear noise from other rooms.
- Nishamini (7/5): -
- Christopher (10/5): Very Comfortable, Bright and Clean - Rooms have been renovated recently? And are so nice when opening the door. Beautifully clean, spotless. Friendly staff, will definitely be back for any future visits. Outside of building could do with a bit of an upgrade but that’s nothing and doesn’t not affect your stay.
- Sharon (5/5): Good price for an overnight stay in a central area, walking distance to shops & restaurants etc - Clean with basic amenities Pillows need replacing, unsightly central courtyard could do with some TLC
- Narelle (9/5): -
- Michael (9/5): - Friendly staff. Clean and nicely renovated rooms. Great location.
- Kynan (3/5): - Gave me a room straight away to compensate Room provided was un made and looked like a drug fueld sex night had just finished.
- Travis (10/5): - Looked a little dated when we arrived. Once in the room it was very clean and recently updated. It was also quiet
- Rantall (8/5): -
- Maureen (7/5): Pleasant stay and would stay again. - Position near train station
Quiet on 2nd level(as situated on an extremely busy road) Staff could be more friendly& engaging
No nearby eateries/ coffee shop

- Julie (1/5): Never again - Arrived at 6.30pm and our room was not ready. We were put in a room with a smashed TV and two holes in the wall. The motel was full of 18 year olds attending a local party who were loudly coming and going all night. Reception was manned by a young child chewing gum and scrolling tiktok while asking for my ID.
- jody (3/5): - We tried several times to get in contact with staff/ reception with emails going unanswered and reception being closed . The room we were originally given had not been cleaned/ made up, eventually given a clean room. I personally found the beds and pillows as hard as concrete and with the noise from the traffic outside also made it difficult to sleep not to mention twice having junkies knocking on our door at all hours wanting to buy crack .. will not be staying here again.. not very impressed at all .
- Jaime (9/5): -
- Alex (4/5): -
- Sarah (4/5): Very underwhelmed and would not stay here again. - Bathroom was small but nice and modern. They had a lot of condiments and personal care items. I arrive well after check in- around 6pm and I opened my door- the room had not been cleaned!! The bed was dirty and unmade and the entire unit was not cleaned. They found another unit which stunk of smoke!
- Elaine (7/5): Great Location - Friendly staff, good location. Room was clean. There was a very strong smell of mould in our room as well as there being mould on the ceiling in the bathroom. This was very overpowering and probably needs to be resolved as it made our stay very unpleasant.
- Cate (8/5): Happy with this central location & it was good value, clean & free parking in the yard was great - Great location & excellent value.
- Ramos (8/5): Lovely weekend in the second city! -
- Bryan (6/5): That was a reasonable stay after my previous disappointing experience. - I had a booking for Corio Bay Motel which was deserted when I arrived. Had to find alternative accommodation. This was a replacement for my original booking .
- Leoj (4/5): - Towels and bed sheets smell like cigarettes.
- Talisha (3/5): -
- Kelvin (10/5): -
- Nadine (7/5): Nice motel for a stop over, the rooms are older but it is good value for money - The mattress was to hard
- Caitlyn (8/5): -
- Kieran (5/5): - Room was clean and well maintained. On a main road and had a room at the front, vehicle traffic till after 11.00pm then started again about 5.00am.
Hard to sleep.
- Danielle (10/5): Fantastic! Would recommend to anyone! - Great motel in a central location but still manages to be quiet and peaceful, lovely helpful staff and comfortable and clean! Nothing, this motel is great!
- Gaye (8/5): -
- Amy (10/5): Do yourself a favour and stay here! Great rooms! And CLEAN! - The rooms are so clean!!!! Great
modern rooms! We love it.
- Simon (7/5): Great location for having a day/night out in Geelong and affordable. - Very close to the city and GMHBA stadium which was convenient for us as we were going to the football and then dinner in the city after the game. Very small room with thin walls and the bed’s mattress wasn’t the most comfortable.
- wendi (7/5): - The Motel room was just what was needed for the over night stay Presentation upon arrival, The office area needs some love, something pretty to look at or read, i stood to long waiting for reception staff to come to the desk.
The parking was tight with the bigger vechicles
- Wielfried (9/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): Value for money - Large rooms, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of onsite parking and close to cbd. Nothing, everything was great.
- Jacqui (5/5): Cheap for a one night stay - Price Noisy road frontage
- Vanessa (8/5): -
- Svoboda (8/5): - Comfy bed, parking, just nice stop

- Rebecca (7/5): -
- jeffrey (10/5): -
- Elyza (8/5): Little Geelong gem - Great location, really lovely setup in rooms, affordable price. Quite a lot of noise at night. There was some screaming in the middle of the night and some yelling at times - not sure if this was from other guests or from the street.
- Mathieu (8/5): -
- Sharon (5/5): Nice room but to uncomfortable - The room was neat and tidy and plenty of parking THE BED was as hard as a rock and simply to hard to sleep on. The room was at the front of the building and the road was extremely loud and noisy. There is a pub not far from there and the people were very loud as well.
- Cheryl (6/5): -
- tim (5/5): - Modern rooms. Comfortable beds. Good location Cleanliness. Having to wait for room to be cleaned. TV not working. Unrepaired damage in room.
- Christine (7/5): Good location, nice and clean, had fridge and tea & Coffe , unfortunately the bed and pillows were a bit hard. - Great location for overnight stay for getting on the ferry the next day. The bed and pillows were a bit hard

- Wayne (4/5): Very, very disappointing - Not Appliable Continuous noise from surrounding rooms.
Windows not able to be closed to lower the traffic noise, people walking past / talking / arguing.
- Leah (5/5): - The room was nice. The noise through the night from the room next to us. It was very annoying.
- Tony (4/5): - Location to GMHBA. First room I was given, the toilet wasn’t flushing hence was full of someone else’s s**t! Not something you want to see when you first arrive!
Second room was fine.
- James (7/5): -
- Foley (7/5): Convenient location. Clean room but beds were quite hard. Price was reasonable for what you get. - Close to where we needed to go Beds were hard and quite small.
- Stewart (10/5): -
- Steve (7/5): -
- Bernadette (10/5): Exceptional value - An older motel but beautifully renovated rooms and bathroom. Very clean. Good location to shops and one of the best pubs in Geelong.
Our room even had a view to the bay. N/A
- Tim (9/5): Clean, quiet, good value and polite staff - Clean, quiet, good value and polite staff Nil
- Jan (8/5): -
- Tania (10/5): Extraordinary value, service and comfort in the CBD. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. - Finding myself stranded for the first time and struggling to find accommodation, I come across Kingsway on a Google search. From the warm welcome of the receptionist (and her adorable 4 legged assistant) to the immaculate and luxurious accommodation, I felt so, so lucky.
Every corner of my accommodation was spotless, the bed was more comfortable than my own…and don’t get me started on the ‘selection’ of pillows.
For a modest price, the location (10 minutes from the train station and CBD), Kingsway cannot be matched! No bullshit.
- Kia (7/5): -
- Kerrie (5/5): - Very clean It was on a main road and the traffic noise was very noisy.
- Dallas (8/5): -
- David (9/5): Kingsway suited our purpose - Clean, comfortable and conveniently located. A bit surprised that we were allocated a room with the curtain rail broken away from one of it's mountings as it seemed other rooms were available. The curtains were still able to do their job but I'd have preferred not to have been concerned about it.
- Paul (6/5): Was generally a bit rough and ready, whilst the room was okay our first impression was that we’d made poor judgment in b - Location was convenient Partially renovated, needs to be completed
- Amanda (10/5): - Clean, private and well renovated
- Dickerson (8/5): -
- Selma (1/5): APPALLING!! - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!!
After driving 9hr, the purpose of my stay was to shower & sleep before continuing my 11hr journey the following morning.
I stayed in room 14 & there was a group of people in the room opposite mine who were extremely LOUD - shouting, screaming, swearing, arguing, something was smashed, stomping up & down the stairs, people constantly coming & going - this went on ALL night until I checked out at 5:40am.
I asked these people to quieted down at 9:30pm. They apologised, but kept up the noise.
I phoned management at 11:30pm & was told someone would be sent to investigate.
The next time I looked at the time it was 2:21am - still noise. I got out of bed at 5am & still noise - these people didn’t not shut up ALL night & I got ZERO sleep!
Also, there is not basin in the bathroom - disgusting! The only sink is in the kitchenette, so you go to the toilet, then come out to wash your hands etc.
The shower is ridiculous & impractical, as it’s so high up & you have no choice but to wash your hair because it will just end up drenched!
I emailed management the morning I checked out & have not received a response.
DO NOT STAY HERE!! If you are travelling & need somewhere to sleep, go elsewhere.
- Alijan (10/5): AŞK NƏ? ❤️🔥 - AşK or Love is a feeling. I gave it a perfect scorə. AVA RÜN PER FƏK SON ❤️🔥
- Paul (7/5): I would go back - Room was good as was the bathroom. A drunken disturbance at 2 am in the morning wasn’t appreciated
- Jackie (6/5): Good value, good location - Central location, the room was very clean. Very noisy, could hear neighbouring guests and lots of door slamming, but it was a Saturday night... The mattress was very hard. Fine for an overnight stay!
- Bombrays (8/5): - Everything was well kept The bed was extremely firm so not comfortable for me and my partner
- Ian (8/5): Just a good one night stay. - Friendly staff, great location. Nice and clean. Very small bathroom but was good.
