- Ewald (10/5): - You basically have the entire apartment for yourself, very spacious and would definitely recommend (especially suited for long-term stays)!
Nice interior, fully-equipped kitchen and two ACs (one in the bedroom, the other in the dining area)
Clear and elaborate instructions prior to check-in, friendly host as far as I can tell Bit of a weird thing going on with the shared toilet, I believe the owner is being a bit over-protective of their plumbing TBH (shower and inside toilet seem to function just fine when I stayed there, yet the owner asks you to use the shared toilet at the back outside---which is basically a sweat lodge around 2pm in current weather).
- Margaret (10/5): Enjoyed the cosy home. Lovely kitchen where we enjoyed cooking our own meals. - loved the location. Quite neighbourhood, short walk to the bus stop and less than 10 mins from Chermside Shopping mall. all was as expected.
- Adikari Mudiyanselage (9/5): Excellent place for a short stay, well maintained, no disturbance - Whole apartment is ours No Internet facility, better if you have your own vehicle
- Bugeja (9/5): Superb - Good location, very quiet, clean, well appointed kitchen, comfortable bed, good quality all round
- Olumide (6/5): Nice apartment but let down by the plumbing - The host provided adequate instructions on how to access the property and some of the other facilities (although I never quite managed to open the kitchen door). The air conditioner, TV and kitchen amenities were also satisfactory. It was generally a comfortable place.
The location is quiet (for those who need a lot of quiet). The main cause of complaint was the plumbing facilities. The message from the host prior to check in was that the toilet had to be flushed twice, that I should minimise using the bath and that previous tenants had caused plumbing issues which were being rectified. This triggered alarm bells. If instructions had to be given to flush the toilet twice and to minimise using the bath, then clearly there is a problem.
I avoided using the toilet for anything other than urination for as long as possible (which itself defeats the point of renting an accommodation and becomes quite difficult when staying for a week). But two days before exiting I had to use the toilet to take a dump and it was an ordeal getting it to flush. I had to apply all the experience I had to sort out the issue and was thereby late for an appointment.
On a daily basis after using the shower there was always foam coming out of the floor drain. Again, this is clearly abnormal and shouldn't be left as a routine occurrence.
This experience soured what would have been a pleasant stay and is the reason for the relatively low rating I have given the property. Hopefully the issues have been fixed now. Guests should not be expected to tiptoe around defective plumbing.
The location may not be the best for anyone who will be using public transport (train / bus).

- Michael (9/5): Superb - The apartment was spacious, basically a whole small house. The location near parkland and coffee shops was terrific. It was very quiet especially at night. The owner answered any questions quickly. It was a little warm, but we did visit in the hottest, most humid time of the year. The bedroom has an air conditioner so we got a cool sleep.
