• Rosie (10/5): Would definitely stay here again next time we are visiting Allora. - We turned up on a very hot day and walked in and the air-conditioning had been turned on for us, which was a relief. It was Christmas time and the house had been decorated with lights and a tree.

• Brian (9/5): A beautifully maintained house in a charming village. - Mirrabooka was a lovely old house with lots of character and a big garden. The house was beautifully presented and very clean when we arrived, with a much appreciated hamper of goods provided for us. Each of the four bedrooms we used had its own bathroom, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Allora is a delightful small town, conveniently located between Toowoomba and Warwick. It has lots of facilities, including a range of shops and a couple of pubs and cafés. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and wished we were staying longer. Nothing. The property was perfect for our group of six older adults.

Thank you for putting up the Christmas tree to make our Christmas in July celebration even more special. It is mentioned on the Booking.com website that the property has an outdoor fireplace/firepit but this wasn’t the case. So it would be good if Booking.com updated this. It would also be good to have a directory in the house with info about the local town and general area, some history about Allora as well as Mirrabooka’s story etc.

• Anne-maree (8/5): Country charm - The house is amazing. A truly magnificent country house. The kitchen served us well. I had a group of 7 that was meant to be 10. The master bedroom was massive and there were several ensuites. The host allowed us to take our time leaving which was so wonderful.
