• Virgi (8/5): - Las camas son muy cómodas, y la ubicación esta muy bien. No hay nada para secar el baño y cuando tomas la ducha se moja todo el piso. Hay cafe pero no hay tasas ni utensilios de cocina. Por otro lado no hay recepción, y debes dejar el pago en los casilleros antes de partir.

• Simona-Luciana (10/5): ❤️ - Leon Hostel is located very close to the city center; it is very clean, intimate, and comfortable. You should know that access to the property is via a code, which you will receive through a message on Booking.com (the property does not use any other method of communication, which can be difficult if you don’t have constant internet access). If you don’t manage to get online in time (as was the case for me), you will be helped by a neighbor who knows the code for the lockbox where the keys are kept 😊 I absolutely recommend Leon Hostel! I liked everything, but it would be useful if there were a broom and a cleaning cloth available at the property 🙏
• Rakel (6/5): Muy bonito pero difícil dormir con tanta luz - La ubicación es genial, aunque al principio cuesta un poco encontrarlo. Es un alojamiento muy agradable, nuevo y limpio. El colchón es muy cómodo para la espalda y la ropa de cama muy agradable. Tiene una neverita en la habitación para poder tener algo fresquito y un armario por cada persona bastante grande y con llave. Nunca vi a nadie encargado que me recibiera al llegar ni al salir. Hay muchísima luz y eso dificulta mucho poder dormir a partir de las 6:00 de la mañana, deberían poner persianas o cortinas opacas. Falta una puerta que separe la habitación del resto de la casa, pues las luces tanto del pasillo como del lavabo como de la salita dan muy fuerte en la habitación y también dificulta dormir. También pondría cortinitas en cada cama para tener intimidad y privacidad.

• HsinYu (10/5): Great place to stay in Berat for solo traveller! - Fantastic location, awesome tranquil environment. The room is very nice and clean. The setting is cozy just like home. Everything you need is there, drinking water, hair dryer, little fridge, living room area..Fully satisfied!

• Roberto (10/5): Amazing Hostel in Berat - It is a really great hostel, located in a very good quiet area close to the old town. The instructions were very clear, the hostel is new, clean and very cozy and good decorated. I was in low season and I eventually stayed 2 nights but didn't have any roommate, it is very accessible from the bus terminal with the Urban bus stop nearby, there is also a supermarket and a small shop really close. Overall it was a great idea to stay in the hostel. They also provide slippers and towels nothing I disliked about this place
• Norma Michelle (10/5): Excelent - I had a wonderful time at the hostel. The place was spotless. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hostel or hotel that was this clean. Everything was clearly well cared for. I really appreciated that coffee, sugar, and water were provided. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were perfectly clean, and the bathroom was also spotless. The owners also seem very nice, and good communication. The location is excellent: it’s very close to Mangalem, and I could easily walk to Berat Castle from there. There is also a large, convenient supermarket just three minutes away. I felt very comfortable during my stay and I would definitely recommend this hostel. Also I am a woman traveling solo, and I always felt safe and comfortable. Everything was great!

• Mariusz (9/5): - Hostel bardzo blisko historycznej części miasta. To tak naprawdę mieszkanie, z jednym pokojem z łóżkami piętrowymi. W pokoju bardzo czysto, mieszkanie urządzone porządnie, wyposażone kompletnie. W tych pieniądzach, bardziej niż ok. Spałemw mm w sezonie zimowym I bylo dość chłodno, próba grzania klimatyzacją nie zdała egzaminu.

• llavero (9/5): Perfecto - Está muy limpio, todo muy nuevo, bonito. Es pequeño pero es muy cómodo. El barrio puede ser un poco feo, pero en 2 minutos estás en la calle principal, en el centro, delante de la parada del bus.
• Lance (6/5): Only as a last resort end up doing - Very clean room. The only guest. There was a kettle, no cups. No knife fork spoons plates. No kitchen. One table four chairs. No checking in details required. No emergency contacts number. Internal key doors lock. Which means doors left open until the last person comes in. Poor security. Especially for female travellers. This is basically a room with 2 brunk beds a table and four chairs as a restroom and a toilet. Not really a hostel.
• Lidiworld (8/5): Excelente calidad-precio - Dormitorio amplio para 4 personas con colchón grueso y compacto en la litera. Armario individual vertical amplio y con 3 perchas para cada huésped. Proporcionan zapatillas de goma para poder usarlas en el interior del hostel y en el baño. El baño compartido amplio donde proporcionan jabón en dispensador gratis. Proporcionan una toalla mediana y una grande gratis. El baño tiene secador de pelo. Zona común con una mesa, sillas y dispensador de agua. Hay café y un hervidor de agua. En el dormitorio hay una nevera pequeña para poder dejar comida. Todo nuevo, limpio y cuidado. Ubicación estratégica a 10 minutos a pie del centro histórico (Mangalem y Gorica) y a unos 35 minutos a pie de la estación de autobuses de Berat. Sin ruido por la noche para poder descansar bien. No hay persianas en las ventanas del dormitorio y la sala ni tampoco hay cortina en la ducha del baño compartido. La litera no está fijada en la pared por lo que se mueve mucho y cruje cuando se sube o baja alguien de la litera superior. Las camas de la litera no tienen lámpara o luz individual ni tampoco una pequeña repisa para dejar las cosas personales. La puerta que da a la calle no cierra bien, solamente queda encajada.

• Yukiko (9/5): - とてもきれい。定員4名のみのこじんまりとしたホステルで、利用者が少ないので静かに過ごせました。キッチンはないけれど、冷蔵庫、ウォーターサーバー、ポットとコーヒー、ティーがおいてありました。住宅街の中にあり、夜は少し暗いですが危ない雰囲気ではないです。ただ、チェックイン日は明るいうちに到着する方が安心かもしれません。 スタッフは常駐しておらず、チェックイン・アウトはセルフなので、慣れていないと戸惑うかもしれません。Booking.comでメッセージを送ればすぐ返信があるので、困ることはなかったです。

• Anni (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable hostel! The mattress was super comfortable and I really enjoyed the water tank providing cold water to drink! The host was super helpful and the communication was quick! I had an issue with the water being cut off when I arrived, but the host got it fixed quick! Close to a bus stop that takes you to the bus station. The location is a short 5 minute walk from old town! I was the only one staying.

• Seval (10/5): Exceptional - Although the location of the hostel was a bit disappointing (I arrived at night so the street was dark and the location seemed far from the center), the facilities were great. Everything was thought out for the comfort of the guests. There was everything from toothpaste to water dispensers, shampoo to coffee and tea options. It was very well thought out that the sitting-resting area and the sleeping area were separate but in the same apartment. In this way, it is possible to hang out without going out and disturbing your roommates. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. It was also a good idea to have keys in the closets. It was one of the best hostels I've stayed in🌸 I also want to thank. I had some problems the day I checked in to the hostel. When I contacted the hostel, the person in charge was very helpful. I thank him/her very much 🙏🏻🌸 Nothing 😊

• Karolína (9/5): Superb - The hostel is small but cozy with great location. There's everything you need. You will be provided with towels and a small snack. The beds are comfortable. There's a kettle so you can make coffee :-) Great communication with the host! I was alone in the hostel during the off-season, so I had plenty of space. I would have liked a bigger trash can. But of course you can help yourself :-)

• Samantha (9/5): Really comfortable stay with lovely hosts! - Quiet location (good for sleep) but still easy to walk to the old town, which is about 15 minutes away. I hesitated to book because I wondered if this was 'far', but it was perfect - get a bit of walking in, great views on the way there, lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. I recommend Te Nani which is a 7 minute walk in the opposite direction from the old town, which has the best breakfasts, huge portions for a good price and lovely garden to sit in (with a cute dog and kitten, and lovely owners). Back to the hostel: the bed is comfortable, with a closet to lock my things, and the wifi is reliable. There's a kettle and a selection of teas, and a snack on each bed which was a really nice touch. The hot water in the shower is also a good temperature and pressure. The family that owns the hostel are really lovely and helpful. I had the place to myself for most of my stay, which was nice, and I was so comfortable that I continued extending! I hope to come back again in future. I arrived at night and was confused by the key box next to the door (you have to pull down the black square), but a kind neighbor called the host for me and we solved it quickly. It gets a bit cold at night inside (November) but there is a heater - it just takes a little while to heat up, but that was okay once I realized that (also others might be ok, I am just sensitive to the cold). It would've been good to have a warmer blanket, but as there were free beds I just took an extra blanket from one. It doesn't feel that safe walking around here at night since it's so quiet and dark, so I didn't go out after dark (which was fine, I'm more of a morning person), but if I was with friends I would feel okay venturing out at night to see the castle view, etc. So basically, I have no complaints, it's just good to know these things to plan ahead.

• Maria (10/5): Comfortable shared dorm to recharge - It is a great place if you need to rest and recharge. It's a one-room (4-bed) hostel so not a social atmosphere but I didn't really want that so it suited me well. Everything was new and so comfortable. Nice sheets, pillows and a new mattresses. The AC was great and the place was decorated with a lot of love, in a very cute way with Berat touches everywhere. You can tell someone put effort into how it looks! It felt like being at home since they offer small extra things like fresh towels and tea and coffee to have whenever you want - even a little sweet treat left on the bed for you. I also was able to check in early which was really nice of them. Nothing :)

• Armi (10/5): Exceptional - Leon Hostel was one the best in Berat, very clean, secure, I got the service on time (the taxi 🚕service was the best, you can ask the manager for more info), the location was around 10 to 15 min from the city center, but I liked it because i saw the old bridge amazing at night. I would totally recommend it to my friends and others 🥰
