• marie-laure (7/5): Bien situé mais services et entretien à améliorer - Appartement spacieux très bien situé. Certains équipement en mauvais état et notamment pas de stores ni rideaux dans une des chambres. Nous avons également eu des soucis avec la serrure de la porte d’entrée et malheureusement peu de réactivité par le service de conciergerie (call center). Celui ci nous avait accueilli en vitesse avec peu d’explications.

• James (5/5): Watch out for check in fee - The apartment was clean and nice, the beds were comfortable, the location is great. There's a hidden charge if you need to check in after 8pm. This is because a person turns up to give you a key. There is no reason for that, the street door has a keypad, and there's a lock box by the apartment door. The charge is just a scam. I also had to ask for a second key, one key between three people wasn't enough.
• Maria (6/5): Poca profesionalidad y demasiada luz - La localización es genial. El piso está reformado y es bastante espacioso. La persiana de la primera habitación no bajaba por lo que nos entraba luz nada más amanecer, la luz del salón que era un ventilador no se podía apagar porque el mando no iba y en la habitación del fondo un ventanal sin cortina que también entraba mucha luz a la hora de dormir. El personal no respondió hasta después de muchos intentos de contacto y tampoco nos informó previamente de estos fallos que tenía, después de dejar una fianza de 200 por si rompíamos algo y realmente ya había varias cosas rotas.
• Barron (8/5): Overall, it was a great stay. Be cautious it’s a very loud street during the night. - The property itself was very nice. 3 rooms, 5 beds, and 2 full bathrooms. The house was clean, except for the floors. The floors were dusty. I wish there was an entry code to both the building and the apartment. There was 5 of us that divided to do different activities but only had 1 set of keys. Which meant one of the groups couldn’t get in until the group with the key was home. In One of the rooms with the 2 single beds, the blinds would not go down. I messaged the host through WhatsApp but never got a response.

As the faults in the apartment from previous stays were not addressed hence suggest the Staff who checks guests in should have a list of acknowledged faults to inform guests instead of leaving guests to revert on faults due to fear that deposit will not to refunded.

• michelangelo (9/5): Perfetto per un soggiorno di 4 notti 8 persone a Madrid con tutti i confort!!! - appartamento in centro 1' piano ottimo per ospitare 8 persone con 2 bagni. All'arrivo l'host ti aspetta per la consegna delle chiavi e cauzione alloggio. Se hai bisogno di chiarimenti ti rispondono subito durante il soggiorno. dista 5 minuti a piedi dalla Gran Via, 4 minuti dalla metro Tribunal. Fornito di utensili e tutto cio' che occorre per cucinare e fare colazione. Alla partenza abbiamo lasciato chiavi alloggio sul tavolo e dopo pochi giorni abbiamo ricevuto rimborso cauzione di 200,00 euro. Abbiamo trascorso 4 notti e siamo stati come " a casa". consiglio per posizione e rapporto qualità-prezzo. Al prossimo viaggio a Madrid ci rivedremo. Consigli per migliorare : aggiungerei più capsule di caffè, carta igienica (per 8 persone quantitativo al minimo) ed uno strofinaccio cucina per asciugare mani.

• Marta (7/5): Demasiado barulhenta. - O senhor que nos recebeu e a localização. Não estava bem limpo, não tem isolamento de barulho o que nos faz acordar várias vezes durante a noite com o barulho da rua.

• Susana (4/5): Fue desagradable - El apartamento era bonito, estaba bien ubicado, zona céntrica y tranquila Estaba sucio, a pesar de que nos dijeron que no podíamos hacer el check-in antes de la hora porque lo estaban limpiando, muebles rotos, el alojamiento era para 8 personas y solo había menaje para 3 inquilinos, tenía lavavajillas pero no disponía de pastillas para usarlo, los inodoros no estaban bien sujetos al suelo, las duchas sacaban el agua por encima de la mampara inundándolo todo cada vez que nos duchábamos, y además de no poder entrar antes tuvimos que entrar media hora más tarde de lo acordado
• Lisa (10/5): Absolutely perfect location. Good size apartment- highly recommended - Amazing location, plenty of room for family of five. Balcony, huge fluffy towels, comfortable beds. They had espresso pods and sugar so free coffee in the morning! And a cafe on the corner. We walked everywhere within 15-20 minutes. Perfect Street was a bit noisy in the front bedrooms- surprising since it is such a small street, but lively!

• Enrico (1/5): - Soldi della caparra (duecento euro) rubati dal proprietario della struttura che, dopo aver promesso di rimborsare il tutto, è sparito smettendo di rispondere a mail/messaggi e quant'altro.
• Pedro (6/5): Estadia en Malasaña - El departamento era amplio y comodo. Ademas estaba todo limpio, No me gusto que el anfrition, que es una empresa, tenga la intencion tan notoria de querer lucrar cobrando mas dinero por cada hora transcurrida al hacer check in despues de las 8 pm. En mi caso, ingrese al departamento minutos antes de las 9 pm, para lo cual correspondia el pago de 25 euros adicionales, sin embargo, la señorita vio su reloj cuando ya habiamos subido al piso, y por ser las 9:02 pm, queria cobrar 50 euros adicionales por la hora del check in. Por otra parte, en el edificio estaban haciendo obras de remodelacion en el hall de ingreso, lo cual no se advirtio al hacer la reserva, y nos generpo molestias por la bulla desde las 8 am y no se podia transitar libremente porque estaban haciendo enchape de pisos. En baño comun tenia fallas en la salida de agua de la ducha, y el inodoro presentaba un sonido fuerte en la tuberia cada vez que se pasaba el agua.
• JOHN (7/5): - The location suited us perfectly and we liked the area. Access to the apartment was frustrating. Our plane arrived early and consequently we arrived at the apartment early. We messaged beforehand to request earlier entry and got an automatic reply saying no problem but still ended up hanging around for an hour. There had been some confusion with the keys which meant we only had one set between 3 of us which proved a bit awkward. The flat looked immaculate upon entry but there were a few hitches on further inspection i.e. both shower doors had come off their rails and one of the electrical sockets(by the door) had fallen out. Otherwise ok.

• Sanghamitra (9/5): Superb - Malasana is very centrally located with all shopping areas and major attractions of Madrid nearby. It has many cafes, restaurants, pubs, super markets in it's vicinity and the nightlife is rocking. The rooms are clean and well maintained and the stay was overall comfortable The building doesn't have a lift; so we had to carry our heavy suitcase up one floor. The bed in the Master bedroom could have been more comfortable.

• Louise (8/5): Nice apartment, great location. - The location was great. Very central. There was an intermittant buzzing noise that went on and off all night and day. It was between the two front bedrooms and difficult to know what it was or where it was coming from. I hope it's now been resolved as two of our guests didn't sleep all that well because of it.

• Max (8/5): Very good - Great location and clean place that was convenient for our 6 person family with 3 small children. Cheap ikea decor, some broken items, uncomfortable bed and pillows in master, poor instructions, poorly equipped kitchen with no cutting board, no dishwasher liquid, no laundry detergent, no salt, pepper or cooking oil, no paper towels, no cutting board, one frying pan.

• Nicholas (8/5): A little extra effort and this place would go from great to awesome. - Great location. Friendly easy checkin. Freshly renovated with everything included, particularly in the kitchen. Noisier than other apartments we have stayed in within the same area. Both from neighbors and just ‘echoey’ internally. Probably could benefit with some soft furnishings to muffle this and while the stark renovation looks modern, a pin drop seems loud. Oh and both toilet seats were broken - one I’d understand as an oversight, two not so much.

• Hope (10/5): Excellent location, beautiful (and large) apartment - Excelente location, clean and the beds were so comfortable! Lots of hot water for showers. It was a few minutes walk to the grocery store, restaurants, and the bus.

The pictures on booking are misleading. The host only provides one bath towel per guest. There wasn’t enough toilet paper. Paper towels for the kitchen weren’t provided. The furniture was damaged.
