Guest Reviews
- Dyer (6/5): It was adequate - Quiet and private Short uncomfortable couch and steps to bathroom
- Riley (8/5): Good value for money - Much nicer in person than the photos even show. Minor challenge getting the toilet to flush sometimes.
- Cas (10/5): Very Clean, comfortable with a luxurious feel and better than pics posted - Decor and attention to detail to welcome guests Mattress could have had mattress topper , a little too firm
- Bronwyn (9/5): I loved my stay and didn't want to leave. Such a treat. - The garden was just lovely with rambling roses, Irises and forget-me-nots creating a welcome entrance to the property, which was very private and quiet. Upon entering the studio, I was so touched that the host took the time to create such a serene atmosphere with gentle music and soft lighting. The decor was tasteful, the bed comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure.
- Evelyn (9/5): Very pleasant stay in cozy studio - There were clear instructions, and a parking space provided that was clearly explained as being for the studio. I liked that the outlook was very pleasant - onto a garden, and was private. The studio had everything I needed - comfortable bed, air conditioning, crockery and cutlery, microwave and hair dryer. It was perfect for a 2 night stay, and very reasonably priced for the area. It was quiet, which was great! Not major issues, but a few minor things. It could have been mentioned in the description that the studio is attached to another property, and maybe some signage about which property is the studio, would be good. Also, the description mentions a "coffee machine" but there was no coffee machine, only a plunger. The photos show slightly different furniture, but I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the chaise lounge which was very comfortable to sit on.

- Maree (10/5): Sensational - The owners were so friendly & helpful. The place is clean & great beds. Such a peaceful setting & the cabins have everything you could wish for Nothing
- Guest (9/5): Wonderful stay at cosy cabin surrounded by nature - I love Milkwood Lodge. The owner/managers are lovely & it’s a beautiful spot with everything you need. This is my 3rd stay.
- Ruth (9/5): a very comfortable alternative to a motel room, and more costly. - The Garden Studio is tastefully decorated and functional. it would be good to have notices indicating which accommodation was which on the site. The door between the house and the studio should have been locked.
- Simone (8/5): Very good -
- Megan (7/5): Happy Australia Day Weekend 2025 - The location although not walking distance is just a short drive to Hepburn, Daylesford and walking trails, which was really great. It is a quiet peaceful location.
Carport for vehicle, complimentary bottle of wine (I left it as I am not a wine drinker). Room was cute, had facilities for tea/coffee etc. Air-conditioning. I could not find the switch for the fan!! Found it the morning it was behind the huge curtain which hides the old door where the house used to be one.

- Rosie (7/5): Cute accommodation in a pleasant neighbourhood - Cheerful and cosy interior. Booked mainly on the strength of its pleasant patio/garden. Hosts were helpful and accommodating in the booking process. Property information and photos a little out of date. Wasn't clear to me on booking that the studio is attached to other accommodation, seemingly with shared plumbing. I found the bed sheets uncomfortable. Needs some maintenance and outdoor furniture could do with a clean.
- Avys (8/5): Very good - Quiet location Would have liked a blue tooth speaker to play music. Prefer music rather than tv
